One of the best parks we’ve stayed in. Staff are friendly and helpful. The ablution blocks spotless. The whole park had a great feeling to it. Will keep staying here on our travel between Perth and the East Coast.

Wi-Fi is lousy but made up for it by the wonderful service and awesome accommodation (Deluxe cabin). Reception staff are great.

Park is located in a great spot, amenities are very clean, overall a beautiful spot. Had a takeaway from the kiosk which was well priced and was really nice. Will definitely be coming back.

Great spot right on the water. Well maintained and clean camp kitchen. The ground was rock hard on the powered sites and had to borrow the neighbours drill and bolts to secure tent. Would have been great to have more recycling options for paper and plastics. Hope to come back one day!

Close to the water, town and a great atmosphere. Little bit dusty with no grass but we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing 9 nights in a beach front cabin. The cabin was very clean & comfortable & we loved that you can walk straight out onto the beach! Perfect location just a short stroll into the shops & the staff were very friendly. We are already planning our next visit!

Great park and set up but unfortunately somewhere along the line our booking was somehow mixed up and we did not get the Deluxe Waterfront cabin that I had booked back in July. Our excitement after an 8 hour trip very quickly turned to disappointment when we reached our Cabin.

Great staff roomy sites with great view of the bay.

2 bedroom waterfront cabins, are clean, comfy and functional. Patio with outdoor setting looking over the water. Kitchen had large fridge/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. Split system aircon/heater. TV in lounge and main bedroom. Ceiling fan in lounge and bedroom. Blinds on all windows.
Room to park the boat. Multiple fish cleaning stations and a boat cleaning area with hose. Boat ramp a few minutes drive down the road.
Close enough to walk to the middle of town, shops, pub, Jetty, etc.
Owners/managers helpful with enquiries.

We recently enjoyed 4 nights in a beachfront two bedroom cabin. It was immaculately presented with an extremely comfortable bed along with a well stocked kitchen. The staff we encountered were friendly and the park facilities were of an excellent standard. We loved the view along with the easy walk along the foreshore to town. We highly recommend this caravan park.

This was a really lovely park, highly recommend, except don't get a site under the trees, we got bird droppings all over our car and van. Lovely beach and amenities.

Thank you for being very accomadating for our family and fitting us in at such short notice at a very busy time of the year. We have been stuck in S. A because of the closure of Eyre Highway with the fires and appreciate the comfortable beds. What a beautiful unexpected extended holiday. 10/10.

Awesome place, great location friendly staff.

Value for money, cabins are comfortable had everything needed, but are bit dated. Couple of new cabins look like they’re about to be opened. 2 playgrounds which the youngen frequented. The Cabin area had a couple of bbq areas with grass. The rest of the park looked like a parking lot of caravans and no or little grass. Has free Wi-Fi but it worked for about an hour over 2 nights. Quiet basic base to explore the area.

Great spot. Beautiful park and well looked after. Staff were very good. Tent site is a bit isolated so we camped on a powered site closer to ablutions.

The broken radio clock blinked all night, the oven was impossible to operate and possibly broken, the electric frypan was crusted and worn to the metal, the free Wi-Fi was out of range, the buttons on the air conditioner were broken, the lino was lifting. The four free coffee sachets were a tad parsimonious. This sort of thing seems to be a theme with Discovery Park vanland cabins, which we will avoid in future.

Not so good. Idyllic location but unit tired and kitchen equipment poor, worn out. Won't stay again. Grounds uninspiring and little use made of the beautiful outdoors.

We only stopped for food. It was great and the serves are large. The people are so friendly.

Great Park with water views. New Amenties block. Close to town. Great drives to see spectacular scenery close to park. No commercial TV in town unless you have satellite dish. Only ABC/SBS from normal aerial.

A very big park catering for all needs. We chose an absolute beach frontage site. Good camp kitchens and nice hot showers with a good pressure. About a kilometre walk to town. It has its own fish and chip shop which is pretty busy and pretty expensive. Overall, a well manage to park.

Beautiful area of Australia. The caravan park is a favourite of ours having been there a number of times over the years. Friendly, and staff endeavour to keep conveniences clean and tidy. Great fishing and the locals always let you know the good spots to find a feed.

Discovery Park, along with streaky Bay in general have a huge starling problem. Will not return again. Our cars and vans were covered in bird manure. Couldn't even sit outside under a tree for shade without getting pooped on. Very disappointed. Otherwise a lovely park. This was our second visit and last unless these birds are eradicated.

This was a good site. Clean and tidy with level and roomy plots. It is the only place I have paddled in the sea where it has been like walking in bath water. Mind you it was 46deg at the time. I like the sea front sites but have decided that free sites in the bush are not for me. Either I have too much imagination or read too many murder/mystery books.

Nice Park, we camped in a non powered spot on the edge of the bay. Beautiful spot. Lots of flys but. There's an onsite fish & chip shop and all the other amenities, except a pool.

Friendly helpful service — cabin accommodation was very clean and reasonably priced. Beautiful location.

Fantastic spot on the water. Shallow for family little ones. Kitchen and dining room fully enclosed, clean and aircon. Bird life are noisey at times. We we're in a tent that got bird paint as a souvenir. Streaked!

Weather, service and location especially is excellent. New years eve festivities are always brilliant.

Nice spot. Clean and tidy park. Easy access to beach. Staff were nice but didnt feel welcoming just its business attitude. Amenities very clean and modern. Would stay again. Have stayed before years ago.

Excellent service and room. Wonderful to walk out onto balcony onto beach front. Loved our stay and was sorry we couldn't stay longer.

No consideration for tenting people. Area just shell grit and litter. Camp kitchen has no utensils or cookig equipment, stove and fridge in need of a thorough clean not just a wipe with a wet sponge. Ablutions old and dingy, poss replace some of the light globes might help. Reception staff lovely.

This is not a good place for campers in tents. We had to use an electric drill to make holes in the rock-hard ground for our tent pegs. Management kindly provided it to us, but they failed to indicate just how bad the ground is for erecting tents. When we chose to move into a cabin for the second night to escape the wind, the management barely gave us any time to pack our tent away before selling our camp site to another customer, who had the impatience and understanding of a Trump and proceeded to abuse us for taking too long to dismantle our tent in blustering conditions. We had heard great things about Streaky Bay, but we struggled to see what all the fuss is about. If we liked fishing and hanging out in a caravan, perhaps we would have enjoyed it more?

Not a lot more they could do to improve this place. Right beside the shore. Outlook gorgeous. Generous size sites. Facilities good and sufficient for park. Kiosk/cafe handy for meals etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Cost reasonable too.

Well run. Good facilities — — clean. Fares are reasonable. Nice outlook over the bay. Courtesy bus to town and local pub.

We camped on the unpowered section along at the end of the site. It was nice and quiet, only 2 other vehicles in that area and we were able to park virtually on the high tide line and enjoy the sunset. The facilities are clean and well maintained with a good camp kitchen too. Very relaxing place to stay.

Great managers giving helpful information on locations for fishing and where to go for a good meal and cold beer.

The caravan park is an excellent position. Clean amenities, friendly staff but water had a taste of chlorine in it so you better bring your own water. Another thing TV has just 6 channels and they all ABC!

Cabins great price, clean and extremelly comfortable. BBQ area is clean and at a excellent standard. Only short walk from town centre, Would recommend to anyone.

We are currently staying here with 5 children, booked in for 3 days, 1 day togo. Have stayed at plenty of caravan parks and I give this one 5 stars. Plenty of room, great bbq's, excellent full indoor kitchen and dining room with tv, bathrooms and childrens bath room are large and very modern also spotless. One thing they could improve on is the games room. There is a lollie vending machine and toy vending machine and a TV but would be nice to see some toys for the younger kids and maybe a table tennis table or something part from that it is a very relaxing caravan park and the staff are always friendly and happy to help with any questions. Lots of room for the children to run around and staff dont mind kids being kids. My children feel very welcomed here.

A tad crowded but overall an awesome place to pitch a tent just metres from the beach.

Great for any holiday with mates backpacking on the beach front tents, family and retiree caravans and the best part… the beach is right there! You can sit from your tent and see it. Talk a walk along the front into town or to the jetty and if you are lucky you can see seals underneath the jetty. Watch out to books about a year out for peak Easter and Christmas times but they really make it a great relaxing escape. Can't wait to go again.

Wonderful beachside location. Stayed in the deluxe cabin for 6 people which is quite small but cozy. Great place to stay for a few nights when passing through.

Nice location at the sea. Clean showers and toilets. Free Wifi. No equipment in The camp kitchen. No grass at the tent area so tent went dirrty. Location is good but we didn't fall in love with the beach. In our opinion the price is a little bit too high (27 AuD unpowered)
