Quiet area, spacious rooms for two. Front desk more than happy to be of assistance to me and my partner. Neighbours have been good which is rare but this place lives up to expectations.

Easy to find. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom spacious. Shower was great.

Lots of traffic being on a main road, cable TV is just normal digital channels, no hot water.

I just love this place. What ever you don’t look up at that guy in kilts, his naked are hanging out. My wife and I love staying there because we sell cigarettes all night long, up and down the hallways. People love meeting us that way. We know which rooms to knock on by the smell. The carpets may have burn holes, but that is not the fault of our product. The night manager is wonderful, as he ignores the complaints of those grumpy old people who claim they just want to sleep. This place just can’t be beat.

The worst place ever. Do not go there … cant believe how rude front desk were … disgusting, night porter was honestly one of the most horrible people ive had the unfortunate chance to cross paths with. he hung up on me half way through asking his name & then would'nt answer … would of given zero stars if possible.

This is a nice cozy place. Its tucked out of the way and just a small walk from the city.

I asked to pay for breakfast cereal and the lady said go to subway across the street. She also commented on my coffee drinking saying it was too much. She needs to learn good customer service skills. Luckily the day staff arrived who had such skills. So the five stars is for them. Its clean and tidy and reasonably priced.

I was woken at 10:20pm by someone knocking on the door asking if they could buy cigarettes from me. Another smoking related matter : The air conditioning ingested cigarette smell from outside and the turn down of the rooms between guests isn't thorough. There was a brown paper bag on top of the cupboard that was there before me and remained there for my stay.

Very usually from what I know quiet average budget motel has all the necessities clean no bugs soap parking and so close to the cbd I enjoyed my stay there and I booked very last minute the caretaker or owner still was friendly in the middle of the night while checking us in.

The room was very substandard. Shower screen panel missing. Vanity laminex peeling off. Sofa was dirty and stained. Carpets had cigarette burns. Bed linen was old and worn. There were biscuit crumbs in the bed. Seven head hairs about 12cms long in the bed between the sheets. We slept on the bedspread as we believe the sheets hadn't been changed. Pillows were old and thin as wafers. We can handle old and worn but draw the line at the state of the sheets. I advised the man in the office about the state of the room incase he wanted to follow it up. I didn't ask or demand a refund and he never offered any either. No suggestion of compensation. Poor customer service. If anyone we know asks us for a recommendation I will tell them about our experience at scottys motel. The nicest part of the hotel is the reception area.

Stayed a night, they had a bed and a toilet. Did the job I needed.

Spent 5 minutes in the room that was enough. Bed sheets looked like they hadn't been washed, stains on the double bed sheets, the carpet was stained, tacky and out dated with a odd odour. Not recommended.

Clean room, friendly staff easy check in only down side is spa bath in room did not work. Room was at a good price.

My husband and I booked for two nights online. Woman at reception argued that we only booked for one night. We booked 2 adults, plus one child. Woman at reception said we only booked for two adults and have to pay an extra $20 for our 18 month old daughter even though when we booked we said we had a child and we bought our own porta cot with us. We told her we did put our daughter and her age on our booking. Once we said she was 18 months old she decided to charge us an extra $10 a night instead. My daughter and I had a cup of water from the kitchen tap in our room which made us sick. The floors hadnt been cleaned properly at they were sticky.

Good location close to city centre, quiet & comfortable, nice place to stay.

Its ok for one night. Exit to main road is quiet bad positioned.

The floors looked like they had been vomited on and not cleaned, the door between the living area and the bathroom door did not slide easily and the glass door on the shower was completely missing panels. The bed was half decent but that was about it.

Nice owners. Just a little TLC curtains bathroom and maybe light meals. Anything else for a budget find another way.

Friendly, economical and hospitable. Staff are friendly. Room service when requested was prompt. Only negative would be lack of foxtel service and poor food selections for room service.

Visiting friends and pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms.

There are coachroachers through the whole room and bathroom, house cleaning was so lazy no fresh towels or beds weren't fresh or made. Owner was rude to our daughter for buying a chocolate she had the right change and got called a stupid girl. Also they were rude for costumer service. I'll never go back there isn't worth the money or time.

Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Plenty of room. Nice little pool. Can't get Wi-Fi in room. : (

Great stay, great location friendly helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Great value for money! Highly recommend.

Do not stay here! I had my watch and wallet stolen from my locked room only to be told by the owner that I must of left the room open. When I asked to see the security footage I was told that the cameras are not plugged into anything they are just there as a deterrent. The rooms where below standard with many of them needing a lot of maintenance and in a few rooms you get electrocuted every-time you touch the hot water tap in the shower. When ringing the owners will tell you that because you are in North Adelaide you are in a good area, when the police where called to investigate the theft of the items they actually said the complete opposite, proof of this is evident on the foot path out side the hotel when you have to avoid the growing number of syringes. In summary this place has below standard rooms, inadequate security certainly not recommended for families, untrustworthy and unhelpful staff.
