The lady who runs the motel is most friendly. Stayed there 3 times in last 3 months. Not the newest but it's clean and handy to town and cheap. Stayed at another motel in Proserpine and was not impressed at $30 more a night and unfriendly staff.

Thankyou Kristy for posting about you taking over ownership, it definitely could use some new pain, split system air conditioning and decor. So hopefully people can have a better experience.

Arrived at 9pm, no booking. Owner was courteous and didn't mind me getting her out of bed. Nice quiet room with a comfy bed. Fridge, microwave, a/c and TV.

Thank you for your reviews and apologies for your bad experience. As of 20th September 2017, I have taken over Management of this Motel and plan to show it some love. I do hope you can visit us again soon for an enjoyable and pleasant stay.

If you really need a place for the night this is fine… there is hot water for the showers and it is clean.

Basic motel accommodation rooms sleep up to 3 clean and friendly, TV, A/C.

Horrific would be the word I would use! $100 for a smelly old and nasty room. Whatever you do … never stay here. I booked on line as it was the only place in Proserpine that had rooms left and after 10hrs of driving just wanted a clean room to flop into. Someone needs to refurbish and show some love to this old tired motel. Never again.

Arrived at the motel and gave a room out that was not even made with food and rubbish everywhere. In response to this the owner said whoops?

Very friendly and helpful… Room basic but everything necessary provided. Central to all town amenities including Woolworths, cafes and pub meals. Quiet, with fans, air conditioning, microwave, fridge and basic cutlery and crockery requirements for simple food preparation.

Haven't checked in yet and p***sed off already. website states $77.00 per night but charged $85 with pathetic excuse " cannot get someone to update website". What are they… dinosaurs? They cannot even update the rates on their own website? Not good enough. Will add to review after stayed.
