The chefs daily changing menu is inspired by the natural surroundings of Long Island and the Whitsundays, using the freshest seasonal produce sourced from the Island’s own vegetable garden and from nearby surrounding farming regions. Fresh prawns, Moreton Bay bugs and tropical rock lobsters are just some of local delicacies sourced from local fisherman or suppliers.
Surrounded by rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, Elysian Retreat is a 3 hectare private cove offering accommodation which focuses largely on sustainability and the importance of protecting and preserving natural assets and reducing waste. Located on the Southern Point of Long Island in Paradise Bay, Elysian Retreat offers beach front bungalows, a day spa, an outdoor magnesium pool and restaurant.
The retreat boasts inclusions such as 3 gourmet meals daily. Guests can enjoy complimentary activities at the property such as snorkelling, paddleboarding, kayaking and yoga, with free use of water sports equipment.

A beautiful slice of paradise in an amazing secluded location. All inclusive high end restaurant quality meals and lovely, friendly and helpful staff. You can relax or be as active as you want with plenty of activities to choose from. We stayed 8 days and look forward to returning one day very soon! Thank you Elysian team for making our stay unforgettable.

Absolutely yes! Extraordinary experience! We stayed 11 days and would have stayed longer! Although the weather was not in our favour and we couldn’t enjoy all the outdoor services and sport activities, all the professional, discrete yet warm and caring Elysian team went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! Highlights: besides the outstanding location, ‘eco care’ and friendly, well trained staff we enjoyed the quiet rooms, extremely comfortable beds, delicious food catered to individual needs and that every detail was taken care of.
