Amazing service. Great facility and comfy beds. Breaky was to die for.

Very clean, modern without being too so. Central to everything. Convenience of pool, gym, cafe, restaurant and bar with snacks available in foyer. Plenty of tourist information.

The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was great.

It was ok. Great location, friendly staff. Bathroom smelt old and moudly I guess due to no exhaust extraction. Was quite and nice dark room. Good value for money.

This hotel is in a central location, with nice restaurant's around it, the room was good, but it is showing some wear and tear, not bad room.

My room had a bit of a musty smell to it, but within 5 minutes of being in the room I'd always not notice it. Bare bones staffing as you'd expect across Christmas, but those who were working were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Made use of many facilities and would definitely stay again.

It's your usual chain hotel. Decent enough and good location. Very close to restaurants. Wifi signal in room was very poor.

Great location on Palmer Street, with it's own restaurant. It has clean, functional rooms and friendly staff at a reasonable price.

Townsville Central Hotel is in a great location to a number of beautiful restaurants. The actual room was NOT great. The bathroom sink had a pubic hair in it and a few other little hairs. The toilet was so noisy that when I was trying to fall asleep you could still hear it going through the pipes and refilling for hours afterwards. I was there State of Origin night and working and the TV reception was so bad I watched the score update on my mobile phone. The light and power switches in the bathroom were filthy and so were the doors and door handles. Simple things cleaners should always clean. We asked if we could eat our lunch we bought within the dining area and were refused. Have asked our admin to remove this hotel off our very large companies book list. Will not stay here again.

Nice hotel for the price. Rooms are cleaner and newer than Rydges across the road. Continental Breakfast very​ basic.

Pleasant enough. Drinks a bit expensive but to be expected. Polite staff and close to other attractions.

Just your average apartments here nothing to complain about. Get in late though and you will find it hard to get a car park.

Just your average apartment. Nothing spectacular about it. They're at least clean & housekeeping do a reasonably good job. The best thing about this place is how it's so close to quite a few good restaurants & bars all on Palmer St.

We had a rear room and went in it for long but loved the service and great atmosphere 5 stars.

Dinned at the Sugartrain, had the duck breast, VERY disappointing! I doubt if the duck had got out of the egg from the size of the breast! The plate was very large but the meal was very very tiny and flavors were not great.

Booked hotel for work team in townsville, Boys were pleased with the rooms, however was charged $1000 to my credit card after being told the room charge was $318.00 for a two night stay. Lady on the phone booked two rooms (at $159.00 per room per night) instead of one and took the initiative to charge this to my credit card without authorisation after sending an email to them with my credit card details and a specific amount of $318.00 to be deducted. I was told on the phone there was a misunderstanding from my end and I got the impression she was trying to get away with somethething suss. After a continuous conversation with her I cancelled the second night stay and was then told that I was charged credit card charges of $264.00. Persistance won and I was charged $159.00 for the one night stay as originally promised. Not recommended.

Rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. However paid for a superior room and received a standard room, this particular hotel does not actually offer superior rooms. We received a standard room with a king bed instead. Was not overly impressed as this is false advertising and a little misleading.
