Grate service, amazing room and food. Was a amazing night only thing I would fault is we put our room service outside the door once finished around 6pm and it was still there at 9.30am.

Great motel, highly recommended. Outstanding staff went above and beyond to make our stay. Clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Great location.

Can’t recommend The Clarion enough. When we booked online we had a special request, which was accommodated. The staff couldn’t do enough and were so friendly, will definitely be back.

Looked pretty good from the outside, did not go inside as I was picking someone up from there.

Looks like a recently renovated room and have to say it's quite impressive in size and appointments. Restaurant significantly less impressive: arrived for included buffet breakfast to be given a menu instead, told coffee was extra, and asked if I wanted the eggs in my Eggs Benedict poached, boiled or fried!

Central location right in the heart of the city, comfy beds, no view from the first floor and a bit dated but nice and clean.

Excellent service and front of house staff are the best I've encountered.

I stayed at the Clarion over the weekend and was well looked after! Andrew at the front desk and the rest of the staff were super polite from the moment I entered to when I left! The quality of the hotel was magnificent and I couldn’t ask for anymore! Highly recommend it and from what I’ve seen, the Choice Hotels are in great locations and also well respected many other people who I know have enjoyed their stay! Thanks so much guys!

The helpful person at reception really was exceptional. I hope to be greeted again by Andrew in the future, who was not only provided very good service, but provided effortless service with a very entertaining style. The rooms are great and the beds are impressive with a wide range of pillows available. Good coffee and tea facilities in the room. Great nightly price and conveniently located in the CBD.

Our favourite place to stay when in Townsville. Modern spacious rooms, with the most comfortable beds! Love the coffee machine in the room and also the free Continental breakfast, however I always get suckered in the hot breakfast. Eggs Benny would have to be my pick with a great coffee. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We have stayed here now on 3 occasions and will be back again soon.

Lunch at Gossips restaurant on the ground floor. Delicious and fresh caesar wrap with a side salad. I'm not much for salads, but I'd have that alone there again. The wrap was perfect. Friendly staff, spotless dining area and heaps of menu options with a view of Stanley Street while you eat. I will be returning. No hesitation.

One of the best set out and well furnished hotels I've stayed at. The bed was super comfy, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to some key shops and restaurants. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed it. Will be staying again next trip to townsville. I Couldn't recommend it highly enough. 5 stars.

This Clarion was purchased about a year ago and has been completely renovated into a Boutique Clarion hotel. It has only 28 rooms and after this gem is found out it will be booked solid. The reception is top notche. Going the extra step to assist your needs. I have to use decaffeinated coffee per doctor's orders and since they do not have it as yet, they sent someone to purchase a small decafe container for my use. The Wi-Fi is free and unlimited with fast speed. The parking is free and connected to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and pass the word to others. It is also convenient to restaurants in the area and Anytime Fitness.
