Loved our 2 nights stay 😊 superior spa studio was very well fitted out. Very spacious for a studio. Comfortable bed, big bathroom with double shower spa on the balcony was nicely set up and very private Had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing, you can order breakfast platter for $50 for 2 to be delivered to the room which we did and it was awesome. Heaps of food And fresh 🥰. The pancakes were beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location minutes from the centre of town. All in all def recommend altitude.

What a beautiful two day we spent here. The room was beautiful and the view was stunning! Highly recommend staying here. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. We had a beautiful 3 course meal at the restaurant and a fantastic breakfast platter delivered to our room. Loved our time here. Gorgeous watching the sunrise from our verandah in the spa!

The rooms are amazing, with a fab location and great views.
The spa and fire completes the stay and it's our favourite part of going there.

Such a beautiful view looking towards the coast. I recommend the short braised rib which was very tender and had lots o f flavour. Also the staff were very pleasant.

We had to book last minute accomodation because parents woke up with bug bites after sleeping at our original accomodation. Altitude staff were absolutely amazing! Great and friendly customer service and fantastic rooms. Even went the extra mile to try to help us out and turn our holiday around. I can't recommend them highly enough. Will definitely stay here again. You will not regret booking this place, 5 star treatment every step of the way. Nice to know there are such lovely hotel staff/owners who are a true reflection of Aussie hospitality at it's best.

Incredible view beautiful room.

Highly disappointed. Paid $313 for a room that didn’t have a spa, despite the photos in my online booking saying there was. Rang reception & all I was told was there was no room with a spa available until next weekend. Rang reception also when the air con wouldn’t work & wasn’t told that all we had to do was close the back door for it to work. Toaster crumbs all through the cupboard & the sink in the bathroom was dirty. Will never ever stay here again! Such a let down! $313 is a huge amount of money to pay for no spa.

We stayed for one night in a studio spa room and it was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous view from our balcony, well appointed room, nice and clean. We were spoilt with some lovely home made chocs on arrival that were to die for, and then there’s the breakfast platter for two… do it, order the platter, it’s amazing! Will definitely be back.

I have eaten lunch here on 2 occasions and yet to be let down. Service is outstanding, ambience and view lovely in a nice clean and tidy setting. Above all Nick the chef is amazing. His food is phenomenal. We have eaten at many restaurants on the Hinterland being local and by far Altitude is my fave! Highly recommend for those looking for a 5 star dining experience.

A few of my foodie friends have been pestering me to check this place out. Went there on a busy Saturday night and… yeah they were right; it was impressive. The food was some of the best I’ve had on the Sunny Coast — not your average boring upmarket restaurant stuff… unique + flavourbombs everywhere. Staff were very friendly and attentive (perhaps a little green). Wine list was on point and my girlfriend said her cocktails were great. Would definitely recommend!

We only had one night to get away for a short break recently and wanted to find somewhere we would be able to thoroughly unwind and relax in that short time. And we are so glad we chose Altitude on Montville! The rooms are just amazing and feel very luxurious with such beautiful views, a spa bath on the balcony, fire place in the room, white robes and slippers, unlimited movie package, room services, a lovely platter and bubbles on arrival… our stay was absolutely blissful and we can't wait for another chance to stay here again in the future.

We have stayed at Altitude for a wedding in Montville. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. Great location. Easy walk to cafes and shops. The only negative was the traffic noise. We were on the main road and right next to the driveway. It was surprising how busy it was. I did also think the staff could have been friendlier when dealing with them on the phone.

This place is an absolutely gorgeous location to stay, and the food is phenomenal! We left the restrauntrant feeling like we had underpaid for the quality of food that was offered. Not only is the food out of this world, the staff are incredibly friendly and so easy to talk to. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Unfortunately the weirdness of some decor choices outweighed any pluses. I am not a fan of open toilets & cannot understand who would like their partner to be able to lie in bed and watch you use the toilet! Personal choices I guess. The water overflow from the open shower never dried up/drained away, so every time we went into the bathroom after showering we were walking in water … bath mat was woefully inadequate to cope with the flooding. Also does not seem to be any soundproofing as we were woken up at all hours during the night by doors slamming as people returned to their rooms. Maybe we just got the dud room and everyone else had soundproofing, toilet doors & proper shower stalls… hope so. On a positive note we were able to find a carpark & the coffee in the restaurant was good.

Apartments are clean nicely furnished and funky. There also some nice small touches like free chocolates on arrival. Restaurant has few choices and not really any cheap options. There are not many other good places to eat close by but otherwise the stay was great.

We had dinner there last night, amazing! If you're a foodie you'll love this place. On par with, if not better then the former 'Reserve Restaurant'. Each element on the plate was prepared and presented so well my mouth is watering just thinking about it! This restaurant will give the hatted places up here a real good run for the money!

Beautifully stylish accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised at how lovely Altitude on Montville is. Every staff member we came across was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a late breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfast platter for two was perfect for a leisurely Saturday brunch. We will be back again!

Had the most awesome time. Went for lunch with my 3 kid's food was amazing my son described his entire as god on a plate. The waiters were so incredibly we went back for dinner too. The waiter Ash was so great with my kids they had so much fun we will definitely be back again. 100% our favorite place. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Lovely management, very clean and modern rooms, great veiws. Disappointed however that there was no oven, microwave, plates or even cutlery. The only place I could wash my cups was in the bathroom sink.

Stayed here in January 2018 and this place was a pleasant surprise. The room was beautiful clean and stylishly designed with so many extra touches you would normally find in a 5 star hotels. Robes, China teacups, chocolate & fudge, lip balm and even a giant tea bag for your spa bath! The food in the restaurant was out of this world and the staff so friendly. Highly recommend this fabulous hotel.

Had dinner on Saturday night when the storm was happening. The food was ok the service was ok paid a lot of money for average food and service.

My wife and I just checked out after 2 nights in the Spa Bath Studio Suite over Christmas and it was fantastic. The rooms are amazing and the view was incredible. We didn't use the restaurant but our parents who are local gave it rave reviews so would definitely come back and recommend the place to others.

Had an mazing 3 course lunch of near fine dining experience but with a price below that of a pub meal!

Fantastic accommodation and a definite must when staying in Montville. The room was a clean and tidy with room service and house keeping available when required. The staff were super friendly and able to help with any requests. I'd definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful night at Altitude starting with sunset drinks at the front of the restaurant overlooking their stunning view of the Sunshine Coast! Although we didn't have dinner here we did order cocktails to our room which were incredible. Our room had the spa with the open shutter doors to see the whole Sunshine Coast from our balcony. The whole experience was super romantic and being able to see the moon and the stars from the tub!
I highly recommend this place and the service was exceptional! We will defiantly return and dine in next time!

We had breakfast there this morning and was far from impressed. We arrived 10.49am with last orders at 11am. The first thing that came out of the girls mouth was, "what time is it? " Anyway, I replied with "what does it matter? " With that she reminded us that we better order in a hurry as the kitchen is about to close. Ok, so we ordered. I ordered eggs Benedict and the wife had berries with pancakes. My eggs arrived hard boiled with minimal sauce and the wife literally had 3 small pancakes with 7 blueberries running around the plate. It was a let down to say the least. BTW we were the only people there, I can now see why. If you eat there, You are paying for the view. Never again.

We stayed in a spa studio and it was simply beautiful. The room was lovely and cosy with the beautiful fire place and had everything we needed. The view from our room was stunning and it was so lovely that you could open the balcony doors up and see the view from bed. We loved the Spa! It was huge! And so great that it was out on the balcony to take in the view. We ordered room service from the restraunt on several occasions for both breakfast and dinner (we simply didn't want to leave our relaxing room) and the food was amazing! We highly recommend the breakfast platter for two! Perfect meal to have on the little bar table on the balcony while you take in that perfect view!

Nice room but very noisy. I wish the room soundproof. Even small town motel have double glass so less noisy on trucks come. And go. Montville main road are so noice. Despite nice view but I couldn't sleep.

This venue could do well consistently from the LOCALS (not just the tourists) if they were more competitive in their pricing, as it is a great place to sit and enjoy the view to the ocean. I will visit again and recommend it to friends/local businesses — but only for tea/coffee at these prices, hence three stars rather than four stars in my rating.

We went to check the restaurant out, it was very poor the night we attended, my main was cold and my partners was inedible, very ordinary service, and had to walk through the waiters ciggy smoke on the way out. We paid top dollar for a bad experience and won't go back.

Nice place, however 4.30pm. The reception was closed with message on the door to enquiry in the restaurant. The restaurant was closed until 5.00pm. I have been listening for more than 5 minutes advertising on the phone how wonderful this place is, but no one answered my call. What can I say…

My partner and I spent a night here for his birthday and we had a wonderful time! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean and modern. We stayed in a spa studio and thought the tub on the balcony was a unique touch. Everything from the bottles of water and chocolate and fudge to the soaps, shampoos and oil are all from local suppliers. We had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs in the morning and everything was delicious and made with such care. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with amazing views and a quaint village feel, then this is definitely the place to go! I will absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Had to wait 40 minutes for starters then when it came the order was wrong. Waiter did not know the menu and could not advise on the dishes. Not great. Pity something so nice is so bad. If you going to charge top dollar then everything must be tops.

Great decor and nice new units. But few things could be better. Just little things. It would be nice if there were slippers and bath robes. The bathroom is really nice. Love the wooden floorboard tiles that go up the walls. But they should move the shampoo and conditioner squeeze things a bit closer to the shower head so you don't get chilly trying to get to it! Just an idea. Also a seperate shampoo and conditioner. The pillows are a bit hard but that's just my opinion. The view of the ocean on the bottom levels on the road are through a chain wire fence so would suggest trying to get a unit on top level. The fridge and kitchen are GREAT! Fireplace is easy to use. It should be made clearer though not to open the lid otherwise gas will start coming out. Awesome how it's walking distance to everything.

Amazing food, accomodation and beautiful staff members. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcomed. We stayed in house and the view from our spa! Amazing! Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, we could not fault it. We will be back!

We had a beautiful dinner in the Matt golinski restaurant. Accomodation was five star. Loved all the small complimentary in the studio apartment. Definitely coming back in the winter.
