Shocking hideous accommodation was absolutely run down and old nothing like the pictures on their site that they have advertising, we were given incorrect sized beds, the air conditioning didn’t work properly it was like a heat box! Their was no child proof locks on the balcony doors which I asked about before booking it in and was told their would be! We were very mislead and felt super ripped off as we payed so much and had high expectations set as it didn’t look like this on their site, it was nothing like the photos…
We didn’t even last 2 hours there we were so upset and annoyed thankfully flight centre felt bad for us and upgraded us to a luxurious 5star hotel which was beautiful! It was a nightmare, so glad we didn’t have to stay there. I do not recommend!

We checked in and it was nothing like the photos! We requested 2 queen size beds and got 1 double and 2 single beds. It was old and the air conditioner didn’t even work it I couldn’t get out of there fast enough! Didn’t even last 2 hours.
Never again and it’s so miss leading by the photos! Very unhappy.

Great accommodation, close to everything, shops, restaurants & the beach.

Great place to stay stayed over a week I definitely will be coming back to stay beautiful rooms clean and tidy and so close to beach and transport and shops stayed with my daughter we loved it staff so friendly and helpful
Can’t wait to come back
Only down side is workers on building site early in morning other than that is great place to stay at gold coast.

Spa, sauna, bbq, tennis court, indoor and outdoor pools, right across the road from the beach… what more could you want.

It's close to everything, the beach is just across the road, they are self contained apartments with separate bathroom, with bath, laundry, full kitchen with oven and dishwasher, balcony, great views, secure parking and friendly staff. Will be back again x.

Stayed here last week for 6 days with my 8 year old Daughter. Had lovely apartment on 9th floor. Couldn’t of asked for better. Everything we needed! Clean and comfortable and lady’s on reception were lovely! Helpful and so friendly to myself and my young Daughter. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed here in Feb 2018. Loved it CLOSE to everything. Staff were brilliant couldn't do enough to help… 11/10. Booking my 2020 stay soon.

I have been staying here each year since 1985. I don't understand the negative reviews. I think that some people are expecting a 5star hotel. It is a building of self contained apartments. Each of these is individually owned and it is the owner's responsibility to ensure that it is presentable. People must Also remember that any damage to the property is done by the guests and if the lovely ladies at the front desk are not told then nothing is repaired. This is a great place to stay so bring your family and friends and you will have a great time.

Big bright room full of windows and mirrors which makes it feel spacious and clean. Amazing location, few meters from the beach. Reception staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Great location and handy to anything you could need. Patrolled beach is right across the road and the beach is really great for the kids. 10 mins stroll to the heart of Surfers in Cavil Ave. Will be back. Be aware that as of July 2018 the lot to the south is having a new building built and it's loud during the day whilst constructed. Also will take away from the view south once completed.

Very good beach location. Old tired and run down apartments. They haven't even tried to dress up the reception. Stay if you must.

Beautiful location very neat and tidy close to main shopping and entertainment the sky bus gets you to and from all theme parks great holiday many thanks.

Ideal location. Near Cypress Avenue Tram Station. Well equipped apartment and suitable for large families. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.

Nice residential apartments, a little dated from the outside but good amenities and great views (though this may be hampered in the near future somewhat by the big tower being built next door)

We love it here and will 100% be back. What a huge space, beautiful view of the beach and great service from all at the front desk.

The ladies at reception are just useless! The service is atrocious, they do not care one bit, they are just there to fill the spot but would in no way try to help you or go out of their way. There are also issues with damages in the car park and people coming in to steal mountain bikes. There are camera s everywhere but the reception "could not see anything" even if after insisting, the security guard looked at the footage and found proofs. I highly not recommend this place wether it is for holidays or long stay. Ps: the lifts break down every week as well.

Ok so great place. What. A. View. Awesome lovely amazing beautiful spectacular undeniably gorgeous and that was just the reception Janice! Yeah so pretty good stayed on floor 16. Great view just a bit hot in the rooms when sun rises. Other than that great stay.

Perfect location, very spacious with plenty of room for a relaxing long stays however the apartment wasn't cleaned properly ahead of our arrand they do not provide any cleaning services during the stay. Also the provided start-up consumable package was such a shame with the dish-sponge cut into thirds! It's an old property that has been refurbished in an economic way. For the location and size we will be coming back but will be ready for self-cleaning everything upon arrival.

Amazing views from our room and plenty of space for two couples. We didn’t use the facilities as we were so close to the beach but they looked pretty average. No restaurant onsite. Staff were really lovely. Decent price for the time of the year that we went and it’s in the perfect location. Will be back. If you need air conditioning on 24/7 I wouldn’t recommend this for you.

It is ok. Good location. Rooms are spacious. Rooms are outdated with significant wear. Cleanliness can be improved specially in the curtains.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it’s been relaxing and perfect both times! Location, price, size of the rooms and the view can’t be beaten. There’s lots of options for accommodation in surfers but in my opinion it’s the best value for money and service by far. Would suit anything from a girls trip, to family holiday to couples chill out. Nikki and he reception staff are very accommodating and answer all of your questions. We’ll be back!

Apartment was everything we needed. Reception and other employees we came into contact with were wonderful. Enjoyed our stay and will be back.

A good spot close to everything, the apartment was a good size for 4 people, would recommend getting a balcony with ocean views.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay the only problem was it wasn't long enough, our suite had the most amazing views, was comfortable, although slightly tired there wad nothing to complain about. The staff were helpful, friendly and went out of there way to accommodate our requests. We enjoyed ourselves so much are definitely coming back. Roll on our next holidays.

Awesome accomadation on the beach. Great night life as well with wednesday night markets until 9pm near the beach.

Good spot, reasonably appointed. Parking, beach, shirt walk to plenty of shops. Indoor and outdoor pools, spa.

We brought 7 nights here through flight centre nz, checked their website before confirming booking and saw lovely photos of appartment online — what we got was the complete opposite! Their advertising is complete FRAUD! We had a late arrival so were in complete shock, so made a complaint to flight centre our booking agent the next morning — to which we were told Breakfree Weren't prepared to do anything. This place was like the before photos of a renovation… very dated, dirty, decaying broken seals on fridge door, leaking fridge, hole in side of cupboard, dirty stained kitchen blind, broken tiles, rusted stove top cooker, furniture in breaking condition, pipe to toilet GREEN with mould from a leak… I could keep going. 8C should not be used for holiday accom — totally unacceptable and not what's advertised. We felt the building needed to be upgraded, common areas were dated and gross. We paid for a another place so that we could enjoy our holiday and left Surfers a day earlier. Lots of extra cost and no result from Breakfree — my advise is pay extra to go somewhere else.

I stayed here with my partner in February when we came to the Gold Coast for a holiday. The accomodation was great for us! Staff were friendly, had a good view of the beach and city, free parking, walking distance to everything we needed and not a far drive to the theme parks. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Location was the only positive thing about this apartment complex. Mouldy shower and a leaking fridge was not the worst thing about this. The hair on the bench and the deathly smell coming from the dish washer left a lot to be desired. Only one working lift out of three left us waiting in the sauna like basement for up to 15 minutes. Rude residents topped it off for us. DO NOT let the pictures on the web fool you! I would not recommend.

Best modernised rooms ever. Exceptional views. Amazing facilities.

Nice place, friendly staff that actions issues when needed. Car parking underneath was challanging but secure. Roo. Was well fitted out with good washing machine and dryer. Dated bathroom needed a decent repaint. Pool both indoor and outdoor good and warm. Balcony was in prime position to watch other in other hotels. I would stay here again.

The staff were very friendly, and the location was good. Walking distance to the beach and shopping malls. However, there was an all day power outage that we and the travel agent were not notified of, there was drilling and hammering on the floor above us for half of our stay, even until 6pm on a Sunday. It was a bit less than comfortable, but must exaggerate how great staff were.

Clean and tidy resort. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Walking distance to everything. Tram at the back door. Beach across the road. What more can you ask for?

Location was fine But thats where it stops. Cleaniness could of been improved nothing like the pictures on the site old ripped couches, dirty blinds I think haven't been washed since the 80's Kitchen equipment could have been better Pool NOT for families shallow end 1.5 mts in both indoor and out door pool toddler pool ok outside looks alot better than the insde well my apartment anyway. Would I stay here again? probably not, not with all the other competition of apartments to choose from hope this helps.
