Amazing place to spend a week. Great staff and facilities.

Another awesome stay at your resort we just love it there every thing is so handy. Apartments are very clean and well catered with equipment. Grounds are beautiful and we had trouble getting the boys out of the pool. Staff are so friendly and Karen and Steve you just brilliant hosts. Great facilities, rooms were nice and clean! Only downfall is that we were staying over the cooler months of the year and the spa was not quite warm enough to enjoy. Other than that very impressed and will return once the spa heats up!

Great resort, excellent facilities, staff were welcoming & polite. Spa could use some warming up but other than that very impressed. Will be back and hope the spa is warm!

Stayed there with my family last week, we where greeted with a smile, and a nothing is too much to ask attitude, can't speak highly enough of the manager, she went out of her way to make or stay awesome, from simple directions on where to shop, extra towels, and when our clothes dryer didn't work correctly she let us use her dryer, and the very next morning we had a brand new 1 installed. we 100% will make the Mari Court our 1st choice for future QLD trips.

Horrible place. The room had poor ventilation and it stank even with all the windows and sliding doors open. The walls were dirty with stains on it. The most horrible thing was the spa. Sure it looks and feels nice but my experience was crazy. It definitely had something to do with the water in the spa. I got extremely sick the night I used the spa. I had the worst stomach cramps, it was unbelievable. I also had puking and diarrhea. After a few days it eased down and I went into the spa to try and relax myself. That same night the whole process repeated itself. I didn't go into the spa or the pools again and my whole holiday was ruined because of this. They also had builders there at the time my family stayed there. They were super loud. Apart from that It was super convenient because of the beach only minutes walk away and close shops nearby as well as countless theme parks. I would recommend all who stay here beware of the spa because if any people get water in your mouth you will be in for a nasty holiday. (I would recommend to wake up early and go for a walk on the beach. The sunrise is absolutely stunning. ) Also, on a rainy day the parrots would come and perch on the balcony. I was able to get some amazing photo's. UPDATE: This is a reply to the management on what they said to me. Firstly, at least try to get my name right, It's Alexei. Not "aixel" or whatever you wrote.

Stayed at this resort during the commonwealth games and found it to be a great place. The managers were lovely down to earth people and the whole place had a nice relaxed feel. The kids and myself spent hours in the pool and spa each afternoon and the place didn't feel at all crowded even during this busy time. The room we stayed in wasn't immaculate but was comfortable and clean. A nice place.

Not only the worst managers but simply the worst people I’ve ever met in my entire life. I’ve never smelt worse dog breath from a human being as when the managers were yelling in my face. They both need a good root because I could see the male managers huge blue balls from across the pool as he stormed towards me with his pants so high his belt was looped through his earlobes. Do yourself a favour and do not pay money for this half star, worse than a trash pile resort. Peace and love to all… except Steve and Alison.

What a lovely place to stay! Close to the beach and everything you need in the gold coast, the staff are very kind and helpful, and checked up to make sure we were ok and enjoying ourselves. The pool was always good, kept at a reasonable refreshing temperature. The rooms were built to a reasonable standard with everything you need to cook a meal. The wireless internet worked flawlessly the whole time! All in all, a good place to stay. I would come back again.

Such an awesome place to stay. Staff were amazing and very helpful. The pool was refreshing every morning and just the right temperature. Close to the beach and close to the shops. Can't go wrong.

Stayed here over Christmas and had the most pleasant stay. Karen and Steve were like family, so friendly and welcoming. Our apartment was comfortable and the pool was fantastic. Only a hope skip and jump to the beach, public transport and the main drag of surfers paradise or broadbeach. Will definitely be back again. Thanks Karen and Steve for making our family holiday memorable.

Very basic, it's a glorified backpackers with your own amenities. The rooms/furnishings are very very old and dated, the A/C is not even good enough to cool the living area let alone the bedrooms. The units are just very run down and in desperate need of a complete makeover and a good clean, glad I don't pay for the accomodation when we stay. You even have to clean the unit (mop bucket & vacuum cleaner provided) and take out the garbage and wait for the dishwasher to finish to put the dishes away or get hit with a cleaning fine,

It is not kid friendly and managers are very rude, rooms are ok but I had to stay in one that was clearly under construction due to tiles sitting up against the wall which I believe should of been done before we arrived or taken out and not only that there was also no aircon in the rooms and the fans do not work and due to this you have to sleep out in the living room with the aircon in summer, oh and the game room looks like it has not seen an update in 30 years and you can not play pool past 4:00pm due to the things you need for it is locked up with the manager and he needs his own time and his guesses mean nothing with him being rude and talking down to me so in conclusion someone that had 5 kids with them this place is not fit for any family.

Bring your own toilet paper. They supply 1. Clean and close to beach.

After a cheeky night out with the lads, we woke up to the manager in our room which we didnt give permission too. On our last day when we are all trying to clean up the manager thought it was a good idea to get tradies in to add some powerpoints in, if he waited 30 minutes we would of been gone and than they could easily conducted their work.

Great location and secure parking, close by to trams and short walk to beach. Very comfortable stay with clean rooms and and gardens. A great heated pool and spa. Friendly staff and a nice little surprise on arriving for a birthday. I would happily recommend to anyone.

My partner and I spent a week at Mari Court for our honeymoon. It has its ups and downs. We have stayed at the mari court 3 times now and while our experiences have never been horrible, its not been what you expect from a holiday resort. So the positives first. Its afforable and right in the heart of surfers paradise. Shopping and attractions are easy to get to and public transport is ample. The rooms are sizeable and are relatively clean. The staff are nice enough. The owners are nice and can see effort is being made to update the resort. The freedom to cook our own meals is a bonus. The pool is clean and well maintained and heated which was lovely. We really enjoyed late afternoon swims. And the heated spa was a nice bonus too. The negatives. The rooms are old and need a little tlc. The mattress in our room was hard and uncomfortable. Not a big issue but still enough to notice. During our stay, 2 of the days we were woken to loud drilling and sanding outside our apartment and the only notice guests were given was a sign on the main stairwell door. I feel they could have dropped notices to each apartment affected. There is limited channels on the foxtel. Only 4 movie channels and for kids or inner children only action or comedy or romance. Would be nicer to have a bit more variety in channels as I was sick the first couple of days and could not leave the resort so was very little to watch.

I was fairly impressed by the price and appearance via the Internet as a nice place to take a weekend away with my family. But after arriving in our room, myself and one of my children started getting hay fever. So I started noticing the dust and long lived filth in the apartment. The structure and potential was good but the cleanliness is really low standard. I've read a number of other reviews on a number of sites and a high number seem to reveal the same lack of general cleanliness. But the other pattern I've also noticed is the way the Management seem to deny this or become defensive towards the review. I have a large number of photos to backup my issue's. Im not talking about a week's worth of dust, this is month after month of total hygiene negligent. The bin in the toilet had urine spray on one side of it. Behind the washing machine there was a foot and a half long pile of dust that was over an inch high. The window tracks had dead moths in them and when I took my children for a swim in the pool I had to deal with the permanent residents swearing at the poolside and making rude comments. Dont expect the world just respect and hygiene. Didn't get it.

Bec was really helpful when booking and needing any information… sad that floors were not cleaned properly before we arrived so we did that ourself… Very noisy especially when someone in the unit above decides to start jack hammering early in the morning…

Yes, a little older than most. Nice comfy unit and nice grounds and gardens. Biggest issue was it needed a good scrub. Had to clean the outside table as it looked like it never been touched. Obviously not much effort into cleaning. Patio, door sills etc need a clean with hose. If they could get some decent cleaners in or pay for a better job than backpackers I would rate it higher. Checking out was a joke. Checked out to get a call I hadn't left the keys, which I did and seems to me they aren't too efficient in their office work. Regardless, decent place to stay for the price.

Very spacious room equipped with all amenities/appliances we need. Friendly staff. Easy and efficient late check-in system. Good parking too. Both beach and tram station are within walking distance.

If anyone is looking for an amazing, relaxing, family friendly resort this is definitely the place to stay. The staff are the friendliest I've come across and are always willing to go above and beyond to help you in anyway they can to make your stay a memorable one. I definately will be returning.

I just spent two weeks holiday at the Mari Court Resort. The new managers Steve and Karen made me feel really welcome and were very helpful with tourist information, very friendly and accommodating. I was most impressed with the room, big and spacious. I loved the sparkling heated swimming pool set in a tropical environment. Great hot spa. I found the location absolutely perfect with just a short tram ride into Surfers Paradise or to Pacific Fair and Jupiter's Casino. The pristine surf beach was only 250 meters from the door. The very reasonable price I paid for accommodation means I will be able to holiday there more often. Thank you for a great stay. Michael S.

We stayed at the Mari Court Resort and have nothing to say except we wanted to stay longer. The location and setting leave nothing wanting. This is a hidden gem in an oasis of concrete. The self serviced units are clean and tidy and fully self contained giving you many options on what you wish to do. And if you wish to have a swim, The pool amenity's will take care of that with a tranquil setting and there is a barbecue for those who wish to partake of a family get together. Mine host's Steve and Karen will go out of their way to ensure you have what you require. In closing, Please consider staying as you will not be disappointed.

Great value. In fact, just a great place to stay. Well kept facilities, helpful staff, and in a pretty good spot a couple of minutes from a patrolled beach. We'll be back.

My friend and I have just spent 14 days staying at Mari Court and enjoyed every moment of it. The apartment we had was lovely. The staff are so helpful and they always had time in their busy day to have a chat which was nice. I would recommend to all my friends.

Wi-Fi can only be used in one corner of the room for only 5min before cutting out. Bed and mattress very old.

Stayed here in march our apartment was very outdated and not much worked was ok for the price and the deal we got from jetstar staff are pretty friendly and helpful.
