Modern fresh decor, outstanding facilities, Leo and Donna fabulous hosts, beach at doorstep, restaurants shopping all in walking distance.

We were meant to be staying at this accommodation the week that borders closed with COVID.
Despite cancellation the day before, the staff rebooked us for a later date with absolutely no hassle at all and despite them not having to honour payment at all.
With COVID still preventing travel the Kirra Surf Apartments the team continued to be accomodating and could not recommend them highly enough. Looking forward to travel so we can come and stay at this great location.

We arrived on the 25th of October 2018 to Kirra surf apartments excited for our big day but to have a distraught welcome to find out that we booked more then 6 months in advance that the had placed us on the 1st floor. Naturally booking that far in advance you would think we would have gotten a bit higher and all they could do was move us 1 level higher to the 2nd floor which was a slight improvement but for a 5 star hotel seems like a 1 star hotel. The pillows and couch smelt like 10 year old dust there were stains on the carpet and objects under the couch cigarette butts on the balcony and the people living above us were perminant residents decided to have a moving furniture party at 4am on the Saturday after our wedding for hours they were dragging chairs and being ridiculously noisy to the point I had to yell at them over the balcony to keep it down as much pregnant wife and I were trying to sleep that lasted about 5 mins before the shuffling happened again… then women again to a dog barking at early morning but it says that no pets allowed but we saw many people bringing dogs into the hotel. The management were extremely rude and on the Friday of our wedding day my wife was I'll from the car ride back to the hotel from severe morning sickness she had to spew into a chip packet which I put in the garden because there was no bins around.

Cheap and good. Just what you expect at a SLSC. Tip top.

We have a regular team lunch here. The place is old and tired, and the service a little lacking when things are busy, but these are easily overlooked by the stunning position right on Kirra beach overlooking the ocean.

A good spot with a view and longer serving hours for food. Good vegetarian. On par price. It cheap. Pokies of course.

Great venue. Usually quiet with great relaxing views over the ocean. Friendly staff & reasonable price meals & drinks. Free parking alongside.

Just the best. When you visit Kirra for a swim. Surf or stroll you will love the food at Kirra Surf Restaurant.

Our first time at Kirra Surf and loved it! Spacious rooms and loved the kitchen/lounge/verandah area — very open.
Onsite managers are very helpful too. I emailed a few times prior to staying and always received a quick reply.
Will definitely be returning!

A good casual atmosphere. The meals here were of good quality and well priced. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the chef who happily accommodated my son's food allergies. Great personal service.

The Kirra Surf Club situated right on the beach at Kirra it's one of the oldest Surf Life Saving clubs in Australia. Although it's only a small club, it offers the best possible view you could have of the coastline, white sands, vivid blue and turquoise waters through to Surfers Paradise, which is possibly as close as you would ever want to be to Surfers Paradise, as it's a nightmare. The meals are of a good quality, although like all Life Saving Club these days overpriced. They have daily specials and two for one for members on a Tuesday, lunch and dinner. So if you're in the area it's well worth becoming a member for a small fee, which entitles you to a very good discount on drinks as well as meals. Membership also entitles you to the members happy hour which is conducted daily Monday to Friday, not sure about weekends these days, between the hours of 3pm and 5pm. All in all it's a very good little club with friendly staff and a few characters to boot. Well worth dropping in if you're in the area. Cheers, Jack Kelly.

Great view of Kirra Beach. Not a bad place for a feed, and a beverage. Parking is an issue however.

We first stayed at Kirra Surf Apartments in 2015 and fell in love when we first arrived. The management team are fabulous and do everything to help out. The location is PERFECT, the most amazing view from the beautiful apartments. We look forward to our time there again this year!

We stayed on the 6th floor, very modern, clean, comfortable apartment. Fantastic view from balcony and the 3 bedrooms. Beds new and very comfy. New indoor lounge and outside furniture. Very quiet apartment, hear very little outside noise. Very close to the airport but no airport noise. Fantastic pool, nice and warm on the cooler days. Safe basement car park. Close walking distance to Coolangatta. Managers Ally and Rod went above and beyond to look after us. Can’t wait to go back with our friends.

Hi people this is a great old surf club with great food and drinks it is right on the surf beach in kirria goldgoast with nice views looking north to the goldgoast and south to the tweed heads good prices and great service from the friendly staff.

What a fantastic resort. The apartments have spectacular ocean views from Coolangatta to Surfers. They are clean, bright and open. The resort is managed by the most bubbly and lovely lady with her husband and they absolutely go the extra mile for their guests. The kids were invited to enter a chocolate competition (they are all winners) and nothing was too difficult. If you are heading to the South side of the Gold Coast you should stay at Kirra Surf. We will definitely be back.

Wow, Wow, Wow: an unbelievable experience and one which will be repeated time and time again. Barbara and I have found our happy place. Whoopee, we are coming back again soon.

The one star is given to the staff as they are nice and the cleanness is done professionally. But the 4 negative stars are to the manager or any one responsible for the building. It desperately needs renovation, especially the plumbing is so bad, at least in the unit I lived in.

A very nice place to stay. This is my third visit. The shower hadn't been cleaned and there was no cover on the doona but other than that the apartment was quite good. Definitely better to stay here in the off-season if you want some peace and quiet.

As a guest who is also in the same industry I couldn't fault Kirra Surf Apartments on anything. The staff from get go were very friendly and welcoming, a great start to a mini break; down to when we stepped out of the lift onto our floor/level the smell of total cleanliness assaulted us, much to our great pleasure. No stale cigarette smoke, old cooking smells or other peoples smelly shoes. It is just wonderful to have that smell of pure clean sea air. The rooms (we had a 2 bed apartment with sea views) were immaculate, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped with all we could possibly need for our short break. sitting on the balcony watching the whales frolic was an added bonus, and free of charge. Wow! love the whale season. My daughter and I will definitely be back and bring the whole clan next time for a longer stay. thank you to the management and staff from reception to the cleaners for making our stay so enjoyable.

From the booking process through to checking out — this place and the apartment managers were excellent. Stayed for 7 nights with my wife and 4 children in a 3 bed room apartment. Excellent views, nice, clean and well appointed rooms. Will definitely be booking here in the near future.

From the getgo we had an awesome experience. Very helpful directions for after hours entry, great security, magnificent apartment and genuine good service. It also helped that the weather was amazing and the beach so beautiful. Enjoyed the golf too! The apartment was very well fitted out, comfortable beds, great bathrooms and all facilities for laundry and catering. Used the icemaker a fair bit too. I would recommend this experience to all.

Kirra Surf Apartments is a great self catering option, and my family loved it. Convenient to both Pacific Highway and Gold Coast Highway and an easy (lightlly laden) walk to the Airport (four blocks, say). Very friendly people. Secure Parking. Good balcony space. With views of beach, passing whales, kite surfing and skydiving LZ directly in front. Pool was well maintained and well frequented. You could live here for months easily. Telstra backed Wi-Fi was rock solid during our stay. (Sept '12).

Kirra Surf Apartments is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing time away from home. Location is wonderful with the beach right at your door and views from your balcony to die for. The staff are wonderful and from the minute I walked in the door I felt like I had known them forever. The rooms are spacious and clean as well as all the facilities on offer. Security is wonderful with only residents and their guests able to access areas other than the foyer at all times. I would have no hesitation in booking into Kirra Surf Apartments again in the future. To be honest had inquired about our possible next stay before even checking out.

Fantastic modern apartment with spectacular ocean views stretching from the Tweed to Surfers. Located about 2 minutes walk from lovely Kirra Beach, a 5 minute walk from the Kirra Shops and an easy flat 20 minute stroll along the beachfront pathway to Greenmount Beach and Rainbow Bay at Coolangatta. Perfect for those seeking a Gold Coast beach holiday but not wanting the hustle and bustle of Surfers or Coolangatta. Beaches Restaurant next door to Kirra Surf Apartments is an absolute gem — great coffee at your front door.
