I stayed here a few weeks ago and I would highly recommend this motel the rooms are spacious and very clean, all the staff are so friendly and accomodating and the food from the on-site restaurant was outstanding. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In between moving this lovely place felt like home for the 2 weeks we stayed here, the meal ordered in room was delicious. Highly recommended. Loved the helpful and friendly staff, Thank you.

Upon arriving after a not so great day of travelling and things not going to plan. The staff at arrival were so welcoming and helpful. We were so grateful to be upgraded to an executive suite. The rooms are so spacious, quite & very clean with all the basic necessities provided within the room making our stay feel that touch closer to home. Plenty of car parking available and close to shops and city centre.
We had the pleasure of ordering room and our dinner was totally outstanding! I highly recommend the pork belly and the chilli prawn pasta so beautiful. First class compliments to the chef. Thank you to management and all the staff at Blue Shades Motel Maryborough for making our stay so comfortable, affordable & a brilliant nights sleep. 10/10 guys thanks for your generosity & awesome service.

Newly renovated, clean and comfy with a beautiful large bathroom, microwave, and fridge with plenty of bench space in room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and lounge to sit in. Restaurant on site with room service if required. Finally a motel I will enjoy staying in at Maryborough.

Great spot to stay in Maryborough and great hosts. Rooms are excellent, clean and comfy.

Attentive service. Updated rooms. In-room dining and fabulous breakfasts. Large family rooms but also quiet business rooms if you are there for work. Pub nearby you can walk to.

Had a great stay with kelli and micheal they are top notch hosts, the spacious comfortable room was nicely renovated and the new restaurant meals didnt disappoint easy access and exits made life easy and feeding the big barramundi was an experence, awesome weekend thanks team.

Great family ran motel with exceptional service and freshly renovated rooms I can not recommend this place highly enough and I will never stay anywhere else whilst in Maryborough.

Staying at the blue Shades motel and the family room is great and has heaps of space. The decor is lovely and the staff and very friendly and lovely to talk too. I would highly recommend staying here!

The Motel is under major renovations, we had a group booking and we were never advised of this when we booked for our stay, if we were told we wouldn’t have booked it. At first glance the property looked like a demolition site. We had a room with no kitchen sink so therefor we had to use the bathroom sink to fill the kettle and wash things in. This was quite frustrating as we also had a baby with us. Parking was included with our booking but the parking spots were always full when we got back to the Motel at night. Every time we logged into the Wi-Fi which was also supposed to be included it would drop out and there for could not be used. When we complained to the site we booked it from we were approached by the owner and offered a different room but it defeted the purpose as no rooms had a kitchen sink. The rooms were clean and the pub across the road had good meals.

Well appointed room. Clean, neat and tidy. 2 TVs a bonus with foxtel. Good price and friendly owners and staff.

Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and seem quite new. Good water pressure in the shower. Pub across the road does good pub grub. Prices are reasonable.

Grest place to stsy I wouldn't stsy anywhere else in Maryborough. Clean well appointed rooms. Griendly staff and bestugully prepared meals.

Me and my sister are staying at blue shades motel at the moment and we both love it, we enjoyed a beautiful meal for tea in the restaurant and no complaints at all, enjoyed every mouthful of our tea, the owners are so lovely, friendly and very helpful, I recommend this motel 100%

My family and I stayed here last weekend in one of the loft family rooms. The room was fantastic and the hosts couldn't do enough for us. The full size fridge and microwave in the room were fantastic!
Unfortunately our stay was to see an ill family member so it was nice to stay somewhere comforting.
We will definitely stay here again… hopefully we will be welcome given we were probably a bit loud on the Sunday night.

Fantastic! Could fit all three kids and ourselves and everyone had a bed! Pillows were wonderful and had a great sleep. We are even considering changing our route home so that we can stay here on our way back. Wonderful staff and off street parking. ☆☆☆☆☆

This place is beautiful and clean. The lady behind the desk is absolutely wonderful and will look after all your needs. Will definitely stay there again and I recommend it to everyone.

I can't speak highly enough about the Blue Shades Motel! My stay was fantastic. The staff were friendly and very helpful. All the facilities were clean and well up to standard. They even recommended the best places to visit and the best places to eat. We will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you Genevieve.
