Great location, very clean & well maintained. Staff were friendly & helpful, quiet & relaxing. Everything you need to be self sufficient for meals if you want to. Will definitely return to stay again. Plus the on-site cat is gorgeous & friendly 🥰

Our stay in Cascade Gardens was amazing! Apartment was very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The grounds are really well maintained with a lovely clean pool and jacuzzi which we enjoyed in the morning and at night. Best of all the reception staff were really helpful. Manager Glenda was great! She went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! Resort is in great location within walking distance to the beach and shops. So many great places to visit not too far away from resort: Botanic Gardens, Skyrail, Port Douglas, Hartleys Crocodile Adventures, Fitzroy island. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cairns.

This place is excellent value for money! Fully equipped apartment with pool. Excellent location close to the CBD and tourist spots. My apartment on top floor looks cool and love the summer vibe! Came here on a holiday from Sydney. Glenda is very knowledgeable and lovely person to speak to each day she will go out of her way to make you feel welcome :) and she will also greet you with a smile :)

Comfortable room and handy kitchenette. Hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the centre of Cairns.

Staff are super friendly and helpful however our king bed was two singles joined (standard thing) however they were pretty uncomfortable in the middle. I would still stay here again. The apartment was nice and everything was clean and in working order.

Clean, comfortable, fully equipped room with air conditioning & kitchen. 15 minutes from the esplanade with free Wi-Fi & swimming pool, would definitely recommend.

Within walking distance of shops and in a quiet locality. Room is as shown from photos with adequate fitout and furniture. Extensive tour booking information at reception along with drinks for purchase and umbrellas available to borrow.

Absolutely loved this place. Handy to everything. Glenda was only too willing to give us all the information that we needed. Would highly recommend.

Among the many accommodations in Cairns, we had a good stay here.
With my partner we stayed here for 5 days and we were given a very spacious apartment and with a small private garden. Not in the center, but you get there with ease on foot. The accommodation was really large, clean and nicely decorated. We liked the included Wi-Fi and the minipool right next to our room.
Kind the girl from the front desk who recommended us and booked tours.
Only drawback, the change of towels is made at the reception but it is not H24.
So, as it happened to us, if by chance you arrive or start before opening, you have to organize it in advance. To and from the airport I recommend the taxi.

Possibly one of the worst value stays in Cairns. it's an old motel that has been tarted up with a splash of white paint. Inside is like a prison. Worst mattresses in Cairns and the motel is on a busy road. Good luck with trying to get to sleep!

Great helpful and friendly staff also very helpful. The rooms are clean and has a nice cozy pool. Facilities likr Bbq are is well equipped and clean.

Inexpensive, clean, just a short walk to all the tourist shops and boardwalk.

Rang the manager to ask about amount charged to our credit card as this was different to the confirmation email I received. Was rudely told this is credit card fees which is 'clearly' in terms and conditions and at front reception. At no point did she stop to think that perhaps the website states 'no credit card/booking fee' and was not indicated in the terms and conditions or on our confirmation. Or to logically think that customers are charged 3DAYS BEFORE they get to reception. She was completely and inexcusably rude and unprofessional. Even when I sent screen shots of terms&conditions which doesn't mention cc fee, and also of their website stating 'no credit card fee' still no apology for her behaviour. Not worth the hassle, stay elsewhere.

Super price if you are self catering.

Hotel facilities, no separate washing machine, needs the washing machine to the water room coin-operated public. Cooking of kitchen Taiwan no fan, fume in housing in wandering not bulk; room in of clothes frame rust track stained; lights Dim; sofa giant dirty, dirty have are shiny has; lock very not firm; TV screen towards not in bed Qian, cannot lying with see TV; Wi-Fi signal very poor, in room in completely cannot using; room in phone signal very poor, only with 2G network, speed snail; most let people annoyed of is was sheets, and pillowcase cannot change, on even most basic of replaced garbage bags, and added toilet paper are no! And check out if you don't take out the garbage, do not clean up your room service charge will be levied! If after five o'clock things looking for hotel staff, also charge a service fee! This kind of garbage daily to more than 100 Australian dollar! Fools! Never come!.

The staff at Cascade Gardens were very friendly, and the apartment was quite large for the price. However, the walls were very thin (we got woken up every morning by the alarm in the next apartment). Also, the apartment desperately lacked comfortable furniture in the lounge (only individual upright chairs) — a couch would have been nice. A/C was fine, the apartment was clean, and location was very good. We didn't end up using the swimming pool though, purely because we always found ourselves swimming down at the lagoon — although it looked very nice.
