Coral tree inn at Cairns was so quite and private and the management could not do enough to help me and the rooms are clean every day clean fresh sheets towels and staff was friendly and helpful and I be back and the restaurant was excellent and the best no fault of this place.

I would not recommend the Inn, primarily because of the corridor/stairs noise. These areas are tiled and on Saturday night in the wee hours guest arriving back stomped noisily up the stairs and corridors and slammed doors into their rooms. It is centrally located to most attractions however and although the rooms are large and the bed very comfortable, pillows were not. Otherwise a good priced Inn.

The worst place I've been, the people who work there are arrogant, lousy service, the maid slammed the door of the bedroom, the receptionist didn't want to give us the corresponding room … when I asked to speak with the owner they told me They could give me another room but I insisted and they passed me with the administrator who defended the maid and her bad temper. It does not compare with the hotel we came to later, in which we were very kindly treated: crystalbrook.

Clean, functional and comfortable room. Full buffet breakfast. Great Wi-Fi. Very friendly staff. Gorgeous pool. Close to the centre of Cairns. Very safe. Casual area to wait for rides or tours. Designated smoking area.

We had a night’s stay here before boarding our Seaswift cargo boat trip. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast was delightful, the room was clean, and the location was excellent close to waterfront. Would recommend as good value for money.

We (2 adults, 2 kids) had a nice relaxing stay, staff are lovely. The rooms are spacious and it was so nice to have breakfast by the pool. Very central location, definitely recommend.

Good location, kind and thoughtful staff, ok cleaning, yummy food (great fruit for breakfast), and when we left at dawn x the flight we were also given the box with a small breakfast (since it was included but we left before opening! ) Vintage décor but the balcony on the pool is great! I would definitely come back here!

Noisy doors, noisy floors, noisy corridors, banging (maintenance) at 8:20am. Room was small but nice, and clean. Staff are great. Worst bed I've ever slept on. Like a plank with bumps.

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced at a hotel. If this is 4 stars, then all others are a luxury hotel. They will not clean your room. They ask if you want clean towels, to bring the dirty ones to the front desk. The $15 breakfast buffet went 20 minutes with no bacon or eggs (I did get a refund). The coffee at the buffet is a regular residential coffee maker that is supposed to keep up with 60 + guests. I left a review on another website and the management decided to lie and deflect as opposed to addressing my concerns. At the end you will find their response. They did not deny the fact that 1. They don’t clean the rooms 2. They don’t replace your towels unless you take them to the front desk and 3. They cannot adequately supply the $15 breakfast buffet. They consider a clean room and clean towels “exceptionally high standards”. The team members were not subjected to any “treatment” from me as the manager implies. My tour company has NO knowledge of any letter of apology issued to the hotel nor are they aware of any issues regarding the treatment of the staff. There were other groups present at the same time, maybe they had an issue? The tour company representing your group sent us a written apology on your behalf for the treatment our team members were subjected to.

Very central, clean and lovely rooms with fabulous showers, great breakfast every day and lovely reception service. Nothing was too much. Outdoor pool attractive and very inviting. 28 from Probus Moama had a great 3 night stay Thankyou.

The hotel was nice & clean. The staff are very helpful & knowledgeable about trips on offer & will book them for you. The only downside are the heavy doors that bang. The hotel is 4 min walk from harbour etc.

You have to expect an aged hotel with hygiene below acceptable standard. Sound insulation is poor. Only pros is within 10 mins walking distance to the water front.

Mills Family Stay Saturday 10th February till Wednesday 14th February Staff very friendly and helpful can't do another for you Craig very very helpful. Pool was awesome. Breakfast was good. Bedroom comfortable. Peaty had to leave.

Nice hotel to stay for a couple of days but not more, rooms are small feels dated. Coral Tree Inn is in the heart of Cairns, just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Cairns International Airport is a 15 minutes drive. Buffet breakfast is served by the pool every morning. There are also a number of restaurants, cafes and bars just a 5-minute walk away. There is an park just opposite the hotel so we can relax in evening if needed.

Nice room, clean and tidy. Lovely pool and barbecue-area. Tables and chairs outside where you can sit in the shade. Near the beach and shops/restaurants. Friendly people if you need any help. I broke a tooth and Craig did do everything to find a dentist for me.

Slightly out of town hotel, dated, tired room but clean and tidy. Bathroom shower was hot, powerful and plenty of it. Air conditioning in room 221 was exceptional. Friendly staff and nice but small free form pool. Perfect to cool down after doing the trips and tours.

It is quite well located, not in the center but very close. The room is normal, a large bed and almost all to an inner courtyard. Claire, the receptionist a charm, helped us with everything and provided everything to the maximum, it is to be thankful that always asked us every day how we had spent.
I recommend it.

Giusto un punto d'appoggio per fare una gita con notte fuori al reef. Nella di che, stanza pulita ma arredamento anni 80, un po' trasandato, ganci di finestre arrugginiti e altri piccoli lavori di manutenzione non fatti. Buona posizione, a pochi minuti a piedi dall'esplanade, via principale ricca di ristoranti e locali.

My daughter slept on a trundle bed and all she felt was springs. As we heard there was a balcony WE WHERE EXCITED then we found out we where staring at a house. Tiny room. Not really friendly staff. Tv was bad. Air cone is so freezing, if u want to go to the North Pole I suggest here. And we are next to a hostel. Overall dont come.

The beds are a bit firm for our liking, however, we did have 2 doubles and a bunk bed, so thats not too bad, service was great though. Lovely lady on the front desk was extremely helpful when we had a small issue with the lights not working with the little card slider you need to use to turn the power on to the room.

Was a decent place, no lift made it a little difficult with suitcases, bed was comfy but a double bed is just two singles pushed together with a sheet over the top, had a nice TV and aircon.

Bugs in the room. No elevator — — carry your bags up a flight of stairs. They don't clean your room everyday. They freshen it — make your bed, give you clean towels that's all. Old hotel.

Great location, decent rooms and a comfy bed. Easy walking distance to the marina, restaurants, shopping centres and the train/bus station. The only downsides to this place were that there were no lifts (that we found) and the staff were a little unfriendly but nothing that should stop you from staying here.

Pros: This hotel is one of the cheaper ones in Cairns. Room was cleaned daily. Air conditioning worked well. Hotel has 6 parking spots. Staff were friendly. Cons: The hotel is a good 10 minute walk from CBD. Once parking spots are full you park on the street which is free when available. Hotel is old and run down. Our room was a drab beige box looking out onto an alley and dumpsters. I left a necklace in the room on checkout (I know — my own fault) and I was disappointed cleaning staff did not turn it in. Wifi in room never worked. Security door (to be used at night) didn't always work. Cons for me outweighed the pros. I would not stay here again. There are far nicer hotels in Cairns which are better situated and more up to date.

This is a budget hotel, rooms are old and very basic and unfortunately not very clean.

Stayed for 4 nights — lovely pool — good breakfast and the staff were very helpful.

Dirty mould when a complain was made ignored aircon not working sheets dirty no Wi-Fi gates loked had to walk aroud I felt very unsafe Am discussed with yhe place and service i eould not recommend to anyone.

Close to town. Rooms clean. Only bad things is that no lift is available to 2nd 3rd level: So bad, if you bring heavy luggage.

Piccolino clean in a strategic position a washer and dryer available to guests in-Room Ironing BBQ pool. Nothing is missing we were there four days and had a wonderful time.

This is budget accommodation only guys and only good for an overnight stay. I wouldn't plan your 2 week holiday with this hotel as there are much nicer options. If you have any injuries or disabilities, be prepared for the stair only access to your rooms. If you choose a room with bunk beds for the kids, I have to say that these are the hardest beds I have ever felt! We had to share our bed with ours. No free Wi-Fi and the pool is nice but small and cold. Overall third place did it's job but I will probably not come back.
