One of the best hostels I‘ve ever been in! Everything perfect and the rooftop pool/view at night is out of this world. Definitely recommend!

When you arrive, it looks so nice and clean, but after one night I just had lot of bites by bed bugs and it’s just disgusting and very sore! I can’t go back to work because of that! And after send an email, no one answer. Probably they just don’t care about people, it’s just a business!

Amazing room. More like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Beautiful room, awesome staff and great location. I have paid more than what this room is for hotels before and nowhere near as good. Rooftop bar, a cafe and pool. 11/10.

A great hostel with clean and spacious rooms, awesome common areas and top location. Had the private ensuite room, which was just great. Loads of focus on sustainability with recycling bins in rooms and common areas. Also other recycling in the halls, such as clothing and books. Such good common areas as well with a massive (and super clean! ) Kitchen, game room with pool, pinball machine and airhockey, TV room and even a small study room. Kitchen/dining area is at the rooftop where you also have a bar and pool with killer views. Just about 5 min walk from Roma st station where coaches and airport transfers take you. Will definitely stay here again!

Great location and only a short walk from the CBD and main train stations.

Clean rooms. Very nice inexpensive place to stay.

Clean facilities and a great rooftop with a stellar view of the city. Stayed in a private room which was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just like a regular hotel room, but much cheaper and with a great community of other travelers all around you. Convenient location next to Roma St Station.

Lovely rooftop with pool, spacious kitchen, perfect location and the obliging staff. Always clean and tide, lots activities I stayed there almost 1 month at the very first of my Australia working holiday. Highly recommended.

Good price for staying, renting bikes, tours, etc.

I recently spent 3 nights at the Brisbane City YHA. It's a reasonable walk from the hostel to the Brisbane Transit Centre and the City centre. Had no luck with the free Wi-Fi but the premium one worked okay. Had a good night's sleep and I can recommend the Check In Cafe & Bar for a great breakfast snack and a cup of coffee. When I return to Brisbane again in the future I will be happy to stay at this YHA hostel. :-)

Long haired manager gave me great tips of the best Pilates classes in west end. Think he had a crush on me. Great pool. Will return.

Great hostel, friendly staff, rooms are clean but the one we had was quit dark. The music was very loud in the corridors and so the rooms weren't so quit, which should be expected. Fortunately they turned it down when asked. Great view from the rooftop and useful kitchen. I recommand!

I book for 2 weeks there no problem and I pass a very good time. Friendly staff and helpful, this hostel is very nice. There is an activity every night (at the pub close to the reception), which makes it fun. If you need to wash your clothes they’ve got washers and driers. If you wanna cook your own meal, there’s a big kitchen with ample storage space. Amazing rooftop and swimming pool. In terms of location, it’s not too farm from the city and it’s a good area.

Sweet place to stay with low price. You can meet friendly people all around in this building. No matter if you are a backpacker or not, this is just an amazing place to stay.

Check in was fast, and although I had to upgrade rooms at the last minute, Vanessa looked after me and her customer service was great! As I'm not from around the area and asked if there were good restaurants nearby, she gave me helpful directions. Staff are very nice here, the rooms are kept clean and tidy, and facilities are maintained to a high standard. They have a pool, laundry, kitchen, lounge area and more for guest use, and a cafe conveniently located right next door. If you do visit the cafe, buy the English muffin, you won't regret it — only downside is no free breakfast but the muffin makes up for it. Trust me.

Great place for those that need to save, awesome setting and wide space to move around. Rooftop swimming pool area with views over Brisbane river and shared kitchen to indulge and enjoy with friends or meeting new people.

We booked a room for 2 with shared bathroom. They provided us the towels and the bathroom is quite tidy. The rooftop has a stunning view and a swimming pool but they don’t provide food there. At night, lots of young people are still having fun. They sing and dance with music, it’s like back in my uni days in Europe. At the reception they provide lots of activities and shuttle to the airport. The people are really nice. I like this place. But I feel I’m a bit too old for it. Anyway.

Well located, in an area with several similar hostels. We were in a private room and of correct size and clean. Quiet area without noises. The kitchen is very large and the views of the city from rooftop are beautiful.

No complaints. Very nice Terrace.

Relatively good hostel but not suitable for retirees and families! At night, a lot of alcohol and grass are also drunk/smoked.
The staff was nice and actually it was always clean (except for the toilets. There are just too few available)

Very nice and very clean. Everything was in order for my room. Bathrooms and sinks we're all like new. Walls were a bit bumped up but had no real effect on my stay. Layout it cozy, location is good for walking as well. As an overnight guest this was just right for me.

Large hostel divided into two buildings, not lacking in anything and with pool in the attic from where you have very nice views and with a free spyglass.
It is 10 minutes from the center walking but well located and 5minutos from the station.

Stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm for 2 nights. Room was comfortable and shared facilities were nice. Showers could have been cleaner.

The doors open in the wrong direction, at least in our room. So u got to squeeze into the shower and the toilet. The door at the garage opens towards the car waiting, which means u have to back up quickly not to get ur car crashed.

Just had to rebook from another hostel because it was filthy and not secure. This one is 1000times better. Room is spotless and even has private bathroom. Plus secure entrance to building and room.

No free luggage storage, there are lockers, safer but you need to pay for it. Rooftop pool and the terrace is nice (the city view itself isn’t as good tho don’t put your hopes up) The entire hostel is clean and modern, also there’s a spacious kitchen. Staffs are friendly. The cafe serves breakfast with reasonable price.

Clean and comfortable, also in the attic is where the common rooms are; Enuentras the kitchen, movie room, games room, swimming pool… All with amazing views of Brisbane.

Small pool on the roof very nice with a very nice view. Impressive the mouth shark open on the floor of the elevator. Do not lose your badge, you have to use it to open any door, a little exasperating in the long… We are as usual never disappointed by YHA if only it is necessary to plan his breakfast.

More hotel like than hostel like. Very clean, well presented rooms. Stayed in the dormitory which attracted a friendly crowd that felt very safe. Plenty of tour options for travellers.

Don't bother looking at any other hostel. This is the best. Great clean rooms, fun activities, the kitchen facility is top notch, the roof top pool is awesome. Games and media room is really nice. It's close to a grocery store, the bus/train station, and is walking distance to the river and many other shops and markets, etc. Safest, cleanest, most fun, hostel. You get every penny's worth here. I miss it SO much.

Stayed a night in a twin ensuite. Great air con, clean spacious bathroom, huge lockers. The kitchen and dining area is also really big and the hostel has tons of other amenities. Almost feels like a hotel rather than a backpackers hostel.

The cleanest and just the best hostel I’ve ever been to in every aspect, including service, room size, social areas, AC and more. Not the cheapest but the only one in the area that didn’t smell like alcohol from afar. The pool on the rooftop with space for sunbathing was a good bonus.

The cleanest hostel (for Australian standards) I have been in OZ I stayed one night in this Hostel. There's a night manager available and it wasn't a problem to check in after midnight. I told the guy at the reception that I want a quite room away from the railway. But I still heard the train. The room was clean and the bathroom facilities also except the toilets. I checked out 10 am and 2 of the 3 toilets were dirty. But all in all I had a good night and everything was pretty clean for Australian standards.

We had a double ensuite which was OK. It was really noisy though as there are also big groups, so we moved to a different room which was a lot better. Kitchen is quite good and big and there is a huge coles across the road.

Very good location near to the airtrain station, safe and the room is clean however it would be great if the cafe are open 7 days a week including on sundays.

Rooms were great and clean, staff friendly and helpful, kitchen was well equipped but gets really hot and people struggle to clean up after themselves!

Service at the desk was amazing. Facilities are what you would expect for a hostel. Easy walk to coles, cinemas and restaurants which is great.

Love this place! Its airconditioned, close to coles and has a rooftop that includes a lovely view of the city and a pool! Miss you guys!

Good kitchen with lovely roof top terrace. Double room with bathroom was simple but had everything you need to sleep and wash. Reception was friendly and can organise transport to the airport.

This hostel is easily the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The rooms were nice and spacious, the bathrooms were spotless with brand new modern fixtures. The hostel itself had a lot of character, and the common rooms, patio, lobby, and elevators were modern and well decorated. The pool was lovely, and a very nice surprise. This is the best value for my money that I have ever seen at a YHA and I would recommend this hostel in a heartbeat.

Very nice place clean rooms, weird roommates. Good food and drink, would have appreciated having the front desk open a little later, our bathroom wasn't working and we could ask for help.

Wifi weak. Where is the lounge? That place in the kitchen with stools? I like lounge chairs in a hostel. Chucky.

Quite clean. Great location, rather close to the cbd and other areas of interest for those who are walking. Beautiful views from the pool deck. Only thing is, I wish there were more plug ins in the room. For a 6 bed dorm, there is only one plug in (excluding the ones in the locker). As well, take the elevator on the right, ifind the gbr one smells oddly like exhaust fumes.

I was staying at 1st May to 3rd May. Everything was good and clean, Kitchen, Restroom, share-room and then also cleaning up all of spaces frequently, however, When I came to YHA first day, I had a disappointment happening due to one of reception girl who ignored me for not flexible english skill, But, I told her certainly that 'I booked last week through Agoda website' by the way, she didn't listen my speaking carefully and as soon as she said that you pay 63.36 $ that is bond. But, I have never heard about the bond, while I stayed YHA of other areas. And then I said again to her ' I already paid, why do I pay double? ' and then she were looking at me like uncomfortable, then 'you pay bond, pay bond' So finally, I paid 63.36 first day, I was having a baddest service via her in YHA of Brisbane. And then when I was checking out, I told another reception person about my conflict, then he said that 'she made a mistake, I'm so sorry ' although, I could get back my money, I can't forget about her attitude and behavior. then, I hopefully she improve her ones.

Very friendly staff. Clean and spacious double room with bath ensuite. Great kitchen on the rooftop with seating area and stunning view. Loud neighbours and no free Wi-Fi in the rooms.

Everything was perfect except the guy at the reception when I checked out. I had to pay 10 bugs for the room card if I lose it. When I checked out and gave it back, he didn't even made any move to give me the money back. When I asked him, he just said: Sorry we can't do that. By the way I did not steal or destroyed anything. Sadly I had not the time arguing with him cause I had to catch the bus.

Maybe not the cheapest, but definitly one of the best hostels in Brisbane. Really clean, a nice pool and all the facilities you need.

We had a double room which was clean and we had everything we needed. Kitchen was good and the facilities clean. The hostel has a very nice balcony on top of the building with pool and nice view on the city.

YHA is great for groups! It's got a great breakout/function room for a good price.

This one of the best YHA I have been to. Very clean and tidy. Staff is friendly and helpful, the location is great, not far away from the CBD.

Very modern fresh and clean. Lockers include power point with in them so no worries charging up your laptops/mobile phones while your out exploring! The kitchen is large and equipped with all the utensils you would expect, it does become very busy at the usual meal times but I never couldn't prepare my food. Brisbane transport centre is a 5 to 10 min walk away and local Coles supermarket just across the road. Staff were competent, pleasant and very helpful too. I had an overall Excellent experience whilst staying here, my return already booked.

Excellent service, clean and serviceable rooms. This is my go to accommodation in Brisbane.

Rooms are a comfortable size with large lockers. Fast Wi-Fi but you have to pay for it (Should be free). Great lounge and a pool on the roof. Kitchen is very big with adequete space on the shelves and in the fridge for your things and because of the size you shouldn't have trouble with it being busy. Also the have a great sharing section in the kitchen. All plates, cutlery and cooking equipment is readily available for free. Showers and toilets are very clean with pleanty space for all your things. Would highly reccomend for short and long term. 4/5.

Great place. Rooftop pool is great, nice outdoor space. Rooms were very tidy. Bathrooms and showers clean. Staff were great. Definitely recommended.
