Owner has done a great job with the refurbishment! Clean and spacious rooms and very handy location to airport. Staff were also very helpful and friendly.

The rooms are spacious and the new furniture is fantastic. Great location and really lovely staff. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great location — Close to a lot of restaurants and transport plus great staff.

Basic amenities but all you need to rest your head. It was very comfortable, very clean, staff were friendly and helpful and it’s a great location close to a beautiful park for young children with a water play area, loads of restaurants and cafes in walking distance including eat street market about 1km up road. We stayed in a room near the back so very little road traffic noise. We would be happy to stay again as great value for a good price.

Paid a security deposit of $100 when I checked in. Was told it would be refunded in 10 — 14 working days. 4 weeks later … still have not recieved it. will never stay there again!

Cheap affordable accommodation we used it as a sleepover before we went on our cruise. Not 5 star but the room was relatively clean and did our purpose. One thing I would point out is maybe give the rooms a thorough clean every so often showers need a good bleach. I run a cleaning business so these were obvious to me. But all in all would definitely stay again.

The rooms were not properly cleaned, the pool was dirty and the restaurant was atrocious, mostly frozen produce and couldn't accommodate dietary requirements.

One of the worst motels myself and Amanda have ever stayed at. 2 star rating if that. Terrible customer service. The room is ok and has a good air con but the restaurant is up a flight of stairs and people with disabilities struggle to walk up stairs can not walk up the stairs but if you want to have dinner you have to walk up the stairs and we were tired and we needed to eat so we put up with it. The meals were terrible and overpriced very unhappy. The website says that they have a sauna a swimming pool full Foxtel airport transfers but the only thing they've got is the two Foxtel channels a pool no sauna and no airport transfers at all you have to get your own way to and from the airport if you're staying there. Also they offer you a continental breakfast as a part of your stay in the morning before you depart. But a continental breakfast should have bacon then eggs cereal toast juices coffee and tea and cater for people that are lactose intolerant but they don't. No hot meal in the morning. We are very unhappy will be putting in a big complaint with booking. Com. The toilet doesn't flash properly and the shower has no pressure and hot water is warm but not hot. And the Wi-Fi doesn't work.

This is what I sent to the hotel and no reply or what so ever… Good morning. I want to advise that I am not happy with my stay. Firstly there is no Wi-Fi in our room which states that there is Wi-Fi on your advertising. Secondly our room is dirty with human hair everywhere plesse see attached photos. Thirdly the aircon in our room does not work at all so sleeping has been an issue I have tried to sleep with the doors open but the outside aircons are to nosey. Also the shower randomly goes from hot to cold randomly getting a nice shower to stay the right temp was difficult.

Rooms are run down and Facilities are not the best, food in the restaurant is good and the room is serviced daily by friendly staff.

Met all of my needs… not the flashiest and could do with a bit of a makeover but did the job and I would come back… for a night.

This motel was great, yes it's a little dated but it does say retro rooms. My Room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the aircon was good, the shower was hot & the pressure was fantastic. The free continental breakfast was good, 4 choices of cereal & plenty of toast. The staff were extremely friendly & accommodating, I'd stay there again for sure.

Nice, clean, well appointed single room. Double bed. Self — contained with good aircon and cable TV. Friendly, helpful reception. Some alcohol available. 6km from airport. Would recommend for short stays rather than family holiday. Woolworths and café strip easy walk. 24 hour service station with coffee etc 250m. City $20.00 taxi, though on bus route. Good value for money. Undercover guest parking.

Excellent motel Excellent staff Shared laundry. Has a takeaway Bar fridge at reception, well priced alcoholic drinks. Entering motel on eastbound lanes of Kingsford Smith Dr only. A lot of Roadworks during the day on Kingsford Smith drive. SO If you are westbound on Kingsford Smith drive turn right at Nudgee Rd, then next left, next left again, then drive through Caltex, left on to Kingsford Smith Dr heading east turn into motel.

It’s filthy, old, and has had no TLC in a very long time by the looks of it. First room checked in air con didn’t work so changed rooms. Wake up early to head off on trip. Kettle doesn’t work. Can’t have a morning coffee. Not happy Jan. Carpet is so filthy it’s feels like your feet are sticking to it. Gross. Plumbing makes horrible noises and the shower drips. I have never gone online to review before and complain. First time burnt so I’ll be checking reviews from now on So do yourselves a favour and don’t book here.

Mould in shower. Bed is hard and uncomfortable. Can hear the neighbors talking on one side and the TV going on the other. Hear the people upstairs going to the toilet and walking around. Tap is constantly dripping in the bathroom. No hot water for a shower. However. Staff was friendly enough. Carpet was clean aircon works fine. TV channels come up with no signal. Would not recommend this motel even if you're in a jam. Shouldn't be charging more than 45$ night for this room!

The sewerage smell throughout this room was rank. The girl behind the counter was not interested in us or her job and the owner was overheard speaking to his staff abruptly and rudely. Explains the girls attitude. The room was not only very dated but the shower was dirty, needless to say we did not take a shower. Breakfast in the dining room was interesting, tables were dirty and so was the cutlery… beware… never returning.

We were only passing through for one night at this hotel to catch an early flight to Brisbane airport. Typical home of a Mexican movie with bars to the windows, the room with a very old carpet keeping the smell of cigarette.
The breakfast where you only find to eat bread and some cereal… it cost us about 100 $Aus the return trip by taxi to/from Brisbane airport. It is better to add this difference in the price of a hotel directly at the airport, of the type Ibis.

Rooms are clean, close to public transport. About 10 mins from city and about 15-20 mins to airport. Has a swimming pool and tennis court but both need maintenance. Staff friendly. Carparks on site but unsecured.

A great place to stay for a night or two. Lots of fab restaurants in the area. Close to the Brisbane Airport. Found the staff to be helpful and accommodating.

Wayne and jacky great people and always there to help plus discounts for guests at local restaurants airportascot bus to airport and return and still close to CBD. That's where I stay in Brisbane.

We were not told about an extra $100 deposit. The rooms had character (old & not up-dated) however, they were very comfortable. No wheel chair access to upper rooms (thankfully this was not a problem for us) very close to shops, transport & the city. The restaurant was cosy with lovely views and the staff were very friendly. It had everything we needed for our two — night stay.

Mould in the bathroom and the shuttle bus service needs to be explained better, never got told about having to pay bond for room.

My mother and I have just stayed here for 4 nights. Great value for money. Simple yet spotless rooms comfortable beds and brilliant location for public transport and airport. The owners are delightful friendly and outgoing natured and are more than happy to help with any query and transport to the airport as well. Highly recommend staying here.

Cosy and comfortable, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into my room. Great little motel — convenient to the airport, eateries and shopping. Jackie went out of her way to hold three rooms for us whilst our booking agency took their time to make the booking. Thankyou Jackie — gratefully appreciated.

Roadworks outside broke a pipe or something. We had trouble with shower water not running off. On the plus side the hotel is very close to Hamilton Ferry's to take into Brisbane.

Old building, but everything was excellent. Was neat and clean and cheaper than others. More facilities, free breakfast, fully air-conditioned. Wonderful for staying.

IMPORTANT NOTE: not very accessible if you have mobility difficulties. If you can't get over steps, and can't climb stairs to the restaurant, don't bother. Thankfully, that's not an issue for me, but should be taken into consideration. It's extremely cheap $35-40 per person per night, when the next cheapest nearby is more than double. It's by the airport as well as the sea port and shops. You get what you pay for, and the restaurant is convenient. Yeah, it ain't the best, but at this price, you shouldn't expect more. Good for a night or two if you're heading out soon, I wouldn't actually stay here as a main component as a holiday, but you don't always need that. Sometimes you just need somewhere cheap to crash, and this is the place. If you want something flashy, shell out some more cash.

Quite a few reasons for low star rating, and very disappointed. Room not cleaned properly — urine was on the 'clean' toilet seat, reception staff slow — be prepared to wait & be stuffed around when checking in with a group, though everything was pre-arranged. Dinner process was slow & waitress could barely speak english — kept getting orders wrong. Dinner was good, though breakfast left a lot to be desired. Mould in bathroom & in the room's A/C unit — scared to use it. Stairs to rooms are slippery & are not lit — quite a dangerous situation! One room given to us had no power to wall sockets — unable to charge phones or watch telly. The staff were more worried about how the account was going to be fixed up (and we were still waiting for the people's change for their drinks last night), rather than making sure we were all comfortable and looked after. Never staying again. I have told our tour manager to steer well clear. I am terribly sorry to be staying 2 nights. Don't say you haven't been warned!

Wasn't the worst of rooms, ok for a one night stay. Had tv, air-conditioning, shower, balcony and a comfy bed. However, a bit out dated, could of been a tad cleaner (cigarette butts in the pot plants on the balcony, floors etc), said foxtel but only sports channels, Wi-Fi didn't work in my room. and if you don't like roadwork noise, don't stay here at the moment… Not really the hotels fault though.

Cleaning staff were friendly however the blonde receptionist was extremely rude. Never looked up from the computer, never said good morning and grunted at you once you got her attention.
We stayed 2 nights, had booked 2 rooms and cost $150 per night each room. Ripped off and grossed out.

Photos are definately deceiving. Very budget cheap motel old does need updating. Smelly room. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone. But you get what u pay for. Next time I pay extra and go elsewhere…

Well this was a little suprise, have stayed at several motels along this strip, and I have to we liked this one the best. Clean and quiet. What more could you ask for.

Very appauled at this place. Its summer and the pool is so filty and covered in a layer of mould which makes it unhygentic and impossible to swim in. They also avertise a sauna and gym, both of which are unavailable. Overall the hotel needs a massive refurbishment. Only positive is the location if your boarding a cruise ship. We definately wont be back here!

The service is fantastic. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It feels like home.

Old, Rundown Motel. Not recommended for any price. The photos on the Internet must be years OLD. The rooms are clean and the pool and the facilities are completely unkempt. Never again!

Room and toilet musty, air conditioning has spread the nastiest stench.

Nice and close to the cruise terminal, with very friendly staff. Breakfast included, but only for one hour each morning. Quite basic rooms, so don’t expect much. But it’s cheap, so good for a night before you wander over to the cruise terminal for your morning boarding call.

Beware… do not even contemplate staying here. Absolutely disgraceful. Dirty, abusives staff, arrogant staff, staff are liars, unauthorised uses of my account opened a legal case, fraud. All facilities and amenities 'OUT OF ORDER'. Bed bugs. Offer free continental breakfast but delivered stale bread for self toasting with out of date butter. Mouldy showers. Unable to swim in filthy pool. Maggots crawling out of bins. staff verbally abused my husband ans threatened physical abuse toward husband in frint of my 4 kids.

Some much needed TLC would make this place great again. And forget about breakfast…

I thin since original oner are back and taken notice to smaller things like service and even down to my decent twinnings English breakfast tea extra strong what a lovely way to arrive and Hannah service so polite nothing a problem but think menu in restaurant a lot of outsiders aren't happy with the meals needs a change the basic roast was so so and the fettuiene murahoom carbonate I'll freddowasnt the best and a lot of people would visit restaurant more liked the eye to detail down to simple things without overhauling everything yet those things make the difference the way staff are treated particularly cleaning staff the phillipino ladies were spotless cleaners but were not treated right not good for visitors to see a German girl left because of that she had a five year old bought in Christmas day even who cares the child came with her but was dedercaited and loyal to boss the same as chef of a night a simple change to menu would have that many people eating at restaurant and just a small eye for detail like the tea being decent and the room with throw and just looking like somebody has tryed would win lots of customers back fast as it would be youd come in cleaning boss woman was so rude to cleaners and people would observe and not like it we would leave tips for them the chef girl on now is capable of change on menu and people would go to restaurant more it was tired menu and people didn't like it much the steak was good the roast s OK but a lot of other dishes needed a

Rooms are currently being upgraded but are lovely, staff are exceptional and professional. Location is excellently placed on KSD which is close to the airport.

Tennis court needs resurfacing and pool needs a serious clean. Close to the city and airport. Good just for an overnight stay.

Best place to stay if you are leaving for the airport the next day. You can pay extra also and have your car left in their safe car park.

Cheap clean and really helpfull staff. My grandmother stayed here and they where a huge help to her getting around and staying safe. Thank you for going above and beyond for her.

Clean and unassuming decor. Was a bit of a sulphur smell when first turned on the aircon, but it went away after a hour or so. On a very busy road, but our room was at the back so didn't hear anything. Was only there for one night before flying out of Brisbane.

Rooms werent very modern, and there was no main room light. Some lights only operated at various times of the day. Despite this, air conditioning worked well, and the shower and bathroom area was clean and functioning properly. Reception staff were exceptional, and even stored our luggage for multiple hours due to our cruise being delayed. Overall a great place to stay overnight and close enough to the dock for those going on a cruise.

Great prices, close to restaurants and as the name suggests it's not far from airport. Can get a little noisy as it's next to main road.

The hotel was overall a pleasant experience, clean, well maintained and good customer service. Biggest complaint wouldhave to be the location and prices.

Very good location in Hamilton, with close proximity to the airport, and other services in the area to keep you entertained for a night or two. I have stayed here several times and would do again. For those withing to see more of Brisbane, there is a ferry stop 5min walk which has regular ferries to bring you into and beyond the city. Great selection of restraints and cafes in short walking distance. The rooms themselves are slightly small, but contain everything you might need for your stay in a very neat manner.

Had the most unpleasant experience staying at this motel. The rooms are old and outdated, the Restaurant they advertise is only open for an hour and the selection is poor. As for being licensed I can only hope you like your spirits in pre mix cans and only 3 choices of bottled beer, again the bar is only open when the Restaurant is open. For the price they charge for a room you can get a 4 or 5 star hotel room for a few dollars more. This was our mistake staying there but all I can say is someone has done a good job of photo shop.

Easy distance to airport with shuttle service to/from BNE (airport). Friendly host. Restaurant on site, pretty typical of most hotel/motel restaurants but food/wine was good. Rooms are dated but perfectly comfortable for an overnight stay.

Room stunk, cushions stunk, room was dated and repaired on the cheap, bathroom could have been cleaner especially behind the toilet on floor… too expensive for what it is… won't be staying here again.

Cold shower, dirty bathroom and no one at reception when I checked in at 4.30. For $100 I expected more. Do yourself a favour and check in next door at the Ascot.

I have stayed at rhis motel for nearly 2 days and have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending it. All aspects have been exceptional including room, information, food, and extremely pleasant staff at reception at all times.

CHEAP AND NASTY! I booked my Mum and step-Dad into this hotel for the night before their return to Melbourne, as I had to work and couldn't get them to the airport for their morning flight. They are in their 70's and didn't have the money for an expensive hotel. Nonetheless, there is a basic standard that you would expect from a hotel that is allowed to take money from people to stay there. This is not just a cheap hotel, but a cheap and nasty hotel! On arrival, we were told that they would be 'upgraded' as the room they had booked was having problems with the bathroom. They were offered a 2 bedroom self-contained suite which was on the 3rd level. As mentioned, they are both in their 70's and had to carry their luggage up two flights of stairs. It's a cheap hotel — so perhaps fair enough… We get into the room and the first thing we see is a cockroach on the kitchen shelf. Given benefit of the doubt, it can happen anywhere… but then another, and another… all coming out of the kitchen cabinetry. I went down to reception to ask for a can of pest spray and he started rummaging around the rather grubby looking reception area for something, but no luck. I follow the desk attendance up to the first floor kitchen area (which I'm assuming is a communal kitchen), and it is disgusting! I'm not exaggerating when I say that the bench top looked like it had been wiped down with grease. The cabinet doors were falling off and there was stuff piled up on one side of the kitchen.

A Very Big Thank you Airport Ascot Motel in organising a room very late at night after a very delayed flight into Brisbane — Arriving after 2:30am in the morning. The facilities are great and Bed was Fantastic. Quiet room with plenty of space, fresh and clean. Will use this Motel again. Much Appreciated.

Too expensive! room too old and service was terrible.

I must have been very tired when booking this room, it shares a bathroom with the room next door and I didny notice that in the description. At $149 I expected more than a backpackers.

Place is ok but Internet cost extra and is slow and drop outs.

I stayed here one night for my business trip in Brisbane. The location was convenient for me to Brisbane airport. I can avoid traffic jam on Kingsford Smith Drive, and catch my early fight on time. Price and service was good and reasonable. Share bathroom is no problem for me. Tony / Taipei.

Their 'budget' $99 rooms are exactly that. Share Bathrooms complete with instructions on how to break into your own room if you lock yourself out, which was great for the guy opposite my daughter who tried to get into her room. Have stayed at other places this close to the airport for around the same price that have their own bathrooms so $99 is not a budget price. Will never stay here again.

Found this place advertised on a billboard near Warwick Endorsed by RACQ. Stayed in the room that was used for a film set. Apparently. Room stank and when pulling sheets back found pubic hairs in bed. Duty manager got us some new sheets. Told manager next day. So what! Threw $10 at us and told us to be satisfied. Will find somewhere else next time — told RACQ — not impressed Jan.

I found this motel to be very relaxing with easy access to shops, transportation and restaurants. Not only did I find the location excellent but the rooms were tasteful and clean with very helpful staff who I found to be of great assistance. I have now stayed with the Airport Hacienda Motel numerous times and will most certainly return upon my next visit with great pleasure.

This is the worst place to stay. Not for families. It smells bad, cannot get a good night sleep (and I am a heavy sleeper) because of the traffic. No Carpark space available. Beds are old and uncomfortable as are the sheets. Building is old. Dont even do an overnioghter. Seedy old locals staying up all night smoking in fire escapes. Security issues with leaving fire escape doors open. I could go on! But you get the idea.
