Lovely place to just get away with the family to just relax, and also with so much to do just a short drive away.

A wonderful stay! Gorgeous location with a scenic walk with large granite boulders and a lovely view from the ridge. Clean, cosy well equipped cabin with log fire. Close to Girraween national park.

Very clean and tastefully decorated cabins with hosts who are attentive when required and leave you alone when that is needed. The place is secluded and private enough to be a getaway and yet close to wineries and some excellent cafes. A general store is close at hand for essentials. A weekend away for us as a family felt like a much longer break so as a relaxation getaway it hit the mark.

Lovely self-contained and private cottages, a short drive to Ballandean Estate (excellent restaurant) and to Girraween national park. The cottages are adorable, very private, well laid out and with everything you need (no oven, but there's a stove and microwave). It's very peaceful, and you're likely to see some kangaroos. The owners are very friendly.

Lovely cottages! Staff were lovely and even bought us around a bottle of champagne as we were there for New year's Eve! Highly recomend!.

This was my second stay at Cypress Ridge Cottages and like the first stay I found it so wonderful. This time I took my father as his birthday present, the cottages are close to Stanthorpe and we enjoyed the wineries, lavender farm and cheese factory.
The cottages themselves are clean and very comfortable with all the amenities you need. The cottages are private as they are a distance from one another and face different directions. We enjoyed breakfast on the verandah and cheese & wine there in the evening. It is lovely, quiet & so relaxing listening to birdlife and watching the kangaroos. The owners were so helpful and courteous. Great value for money. I will definitely be back. Thank you. Kathy.

A great setting. A great place for a getaway.

Cosy and secluded. Our Cypress Ridge Cottage was perfect for our 30th Anniversary Getaway weekend. Being June, we were able to enjoy the fireplace while enjoying a glass of red.
The location is perfect for us. Close to so many of the places we like to visit at Ballandean and nearby Stanthorpe.
The setting overlooking the dam was perfect and we enjoyed strolling the bushwalking track from our cabin. My husband cooked our breakfast each morning on the BBQ outside and we ate on the verandah while watching and listening to the wildlife enjoy the cool brisk morning.
We hope to return for another weekend stay in this little gem sometime.

We went during the four day Christmas break of 2010 with our two year old daughter and aging mutt. We arrived VERY late and the owner patiently waited up for us to arrive. We found them very considerate of privacy, but we knew how to find them if we needed to. We were upgraded to a larger cottage free of charge when a booking clashed with another. We found the owners to be approachable and generous of spirit and nature. The furnishings were absolutely beautiful, the bed comfortable, we brought our own pillows out of habit. The cottage was clean, tasteful, and not cluttered. There was a fruiting apricot tree outside our cottage, which went wonderfully barbequed with the local port. With vineyards (check out Tobin Wines! ) in every direction (including directly over the road), a lovely restaurant down the road and Girraween only a sneeze away we couldn't have asked for a better location. We also suggest stopping at Suttons Juice factory on the way into town for the best apple pie you'll ever taste. The only minor quibble is that the breakfasts were not delivered daily, but all four days worth were in our fridge when we arrived, which meant that fridge space was lacking for our things and the croissants were a bit stale by the end. BUT this is the only fault I can think of, and I'm trying to think of one, so that this is a balanced review. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The prices were excellent.

Privacy is fantastic and love the log fires.
