We had a fantastic experience at Rika's guesthouse and would highly recommend it to others. Hakata guesthouse transported us to Japan for our stay. The location is a convenient short walk from the bus stop, from the Main Street packed with restaurants and from the water side. We were incredibly satisfied with the cleanliness, uniqueness and comfort that the home had to offer. Rika's kind manner highly added to our experience and she made us feel right at home. Kitchen facilities were available for use with bread and condiments. Thank you for a great stay — would definitely return :)
Great experience with lovely host. We only stayed one night at Rika’s place but she made us feel really welcomed. The place is extremely well located, near the water and the view from the balcony is magic! The room was very quiet, clean as well as confortable, we really enjoyed the attention to details. Once again the host is amazing and this was the highlight of our stay. She is extremely hospitable and tried hard to make our stay lovely. We felt like the owners were very quiet and definitely respected our privacy, it’s good to mention that they stay in an other house in the backyard but always there if needed. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you for the great experience. Vincent.

The perfect accomodation for those who require a restful nights sleep, minutes to the city yet it feels a million miles away. The hosts are warm and welcoming however not at all intrusive. This quite basic style of accomodation May not suit all but it is certainly extremely clean and homely and very quaint, I'll most certainly be returning!
