Great place to meet up with friends. Good bar prices, friendly service and clean amenities.

Usually great service here and bar staff is great. However today ordered two pizzas over the phone to be picked up, went in and paid for them at the bar, the girl who served me was lovely and gave me the pizzas and I left. A manager (I assume) in a blue and white striped shirt who literally walked in straight after me and saw me at the bar pay for the pizzas, then chased me out the door and hollered at me like a dog and pointed his finger at me gesturing me to come back and that I hadn’t paid. He was extremely rude even though I was more than happy to comply. I had the transaction notification on my phone and showed him straight away that I did pay and that it said the correct amount to their establishment name and still he ushered me inside only to be told straight away that I in fact did pay. Waved me off with nothing more than a short sorry. Absolutely terrible and embarrassing, put me off from coming back here any time soon.

The place is a lovely and nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly.

Great food, great enviroment. Tab looks good but the customer serice was the worst. Tab and main bar ubatended for 3-4 nibutes at a time. Especially on a saturday. Not going back to that tab ever.

Profiting from other people’s misery destroying lives and family’s those dam pokie machines this place isn’t family friendly.

Tastiest steak (just $15 on Wednesday nights) that I’ve had in a long time — compliments to the chef & the lovely young man who served me. I’ll be back for sure!

Place recently got jacked and it's really dope now. Very yummy food, nice staf, tasty beers and pokies room is a crank it's very dope. They got dope Dianne sauce too I hunjy P cop. Rocker also crank it.

Had our Dads 60th in the new fun tins area and it looked great! Delicious food and very friendly staff made the event even better.

Being from rural australia were people are friendlier I felt I was interupting the accommodation staff from what he was doing (nothing) lots of mistakes in our booking we booked a family room for the three of us and were given a room with 1 double bed and they had no record of us pre paying maybe we just got what we payed for not much.

Nice food that's reasonably priced. Good place for functions, large and small rooms that are both good. Friendly staff. Always have the fights and sport on. Good pokie room. Would recommend.

What a great venue. The food was fantastic, something for everyone and we happened to be there just in time for the meat raffle. We were quite happy to sit near the bar enjoying a couple of quiet beers and a selection from the menu before heading off to a show.

Nice pub/tavern with nice friendly guests /staff. Only complaint table/bar tops dirty and sticky.

Food was tasty but I must admit the pub’s food was at restaurant prices. Chef’s making a great attempt to mix the menu around. The red wine jus was absolutely delicious, complementing any meat item.

Good pub, great rooms, excellent food and the slow learner's (pokies) room is out of view in the basement! Not noisy and packed with hipster's as most other pubs are in the area.

Average. Awful Wi-Fi but decent price when we stayed here around NYE. 10min walk to train station.

Modern bistro setting with inside and outside settings. Food is great with a large menu. Drinks not too expensive. Regular pub area adjacent with sport etc screens.

The pricing does not match the quality of food. $34 for an over cooked scotch fillet with gluggy mashed potato. The outdoor area is filthy, doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in well over a month. There are plenty of pubs within 2 minutes drive of here well worth what they charge.

Huge beer garden out the back, and also has live music. Can get packed at times due to the Westconnex. Average range of beers, and the standard.

Really nice place, friendly staff member, they have an outdoor sitting area as well, because sometimes the inside sitting area can get a bit noisy, but it's not that bad. They even have a seperate lounge area specially for private functions. There are smoking areas too, so you can smoke away in peace without disturbing anyone else.

There are so many better options in the area. Food is ordinary at best, drinks service slow! Was a handy option to meet friends on the way home, though with the removal of the Rainbow Flag, there isn't a single reason to continue to drink here.

I have been there more then once and each time service is the same. Staff members are too busy talking to each other to serve you in the restaurant and the gaming room. They talk to each other about inappropriate topics you get served alcohol in the shop but then refused service at the bar. I have also been served by a staff member who was sick serving my drinks.

Off on to the southern cross hotel for dinner after going climbing in St Peter's. The food was standard pub fare but it was done well — the oil in the chips was fresh and the desserts also tasted good. Prices were reasonable and the lady who served was friendly and attentive.

I stayed one night. The check in process was ok except it was not clear that you check in in the bottle shop. The room was simple and clean but the amenities were not great. The iron was destroyed with scratches all over the base and the bed only had one thin blanket. There was no spare. Otherwise an ok stay.

Firstly the staff were wonderful especially the lovely lady in the VIP bar who found the manager so we could book in. The lady who does the cleaning was wonderful and friendly. But from that point it was down hill. The bed was not comfortable and every time we moved we woke each other up. There was no mattress protector and the mattress was stained badly. There were other stains on the carpet. I don't think this is the fault of the cleaner but the policy of the owners. We asked for a quiet room but got a room on the Princesses Highway side of the building. There were not any bed side lamps as depicted in the photos. There was no fridge in the room. The meal were very good and the service excellent.

Food took a bit to come out, was good, but for $34 expected the shank to fall off the bone… It didn't.

The accomodation was oddly surprising. We read other reviews about the place and weren't expecting anything crash hot, but when we got into the room we were happily surprised. The value for money was there considering the cbd is so close and is a great place to stay if you need somewhere to crash in the city for the night.

Nice atmosphere, good food and polite staff. My kids loved the aquarium.

The room was a bit dated however had it's own charm, there was a bit of road noise but the venue was quiet. We had a nice local beer down at the pub while we played keno.

Older rooms, but have their own charm. Bathroom has a stagnant water smell, but otherwise very clean and comfortable.
