Karaoke host Buddy was so warm & welcoming 🙏🏻👏🏼😘❤️
Not to mention the crowd! Loved this place will definitely be back!

this establishment is a dead set hidden gem well set out drinking hole. Spotless interior great VIP aera beverages lovely n chilled. Staff friendly n very knowledgeable about there products and local aera. Restaurant top shelf outstanding… Wot a cracker of a afternoon Thank-you.

People behind the bar and in the bistro always look after you. Great vibe.

2 nights at the pub with friends. Great place, fabulous food and friendly staff. 5 minutes walk to Darling Harbour. Will definitely go again.

We had a basic room, which was great as we only stayed the night and we were out all day. The pub was great, AMAZING FOOD and super friendly staff!
We will definitely consider staying again ✌️

Good location, small room, peeling paint on bathroom roof, got a quilt out of the wardrobe white with big yellow stains. Having a self serve continental in the room was nice. The guy that checked me in was lovely and very helpfull.

Our Friday lunch local at work, always good service at the bar, lunch specials at the bistro are good value too!

Nice little hotel. Didn't hear other guests any time during stay! Was clean and recently upgraded. Lovely ensuite bathrooms. Staff eere friendly and room was serviced daily. More than enough towels! Didn't give 5th star due to smoke coming up from back outdoor area (I'm sensitive to smoke), included breakfast was cereal/tea/coffee (I only had tea). Other than those two small things, I enjoyed my stay and recommend this place when traveling for business.

Worst place to stay I've ever had. I travel a lot with work. I was booked this place for a week as other places were fully booked. I checked reviews and thought it's OK. I checked in on Monday the room was disgusting, smelly dirty and middle ages. I asked to change and was told we are fully booked. Then I went the AC is not working ad it should the guy went I cannot do anything about it! I asked my employer to change this place as its beyond imagination however because of short notice I had to stay for another night where some drunk people was screaming below my room until 11. I escaped next morning and will never come back again. How on earth this place is ranked 4 stars. Photo of my QUEEN room when I checked in.

Met some good ppl playing pool. But after the eftpos at bar went down the lady barmaid got very aggressive towards myself & another female patron … it was no fault of ours. We explained the cashcard machine charges $2.80. For such a small amount & she through her tip jar on bar … we were always going to pay for our 2 drinks … the barman was an understanding & nice bloke … it was a ahame a good nite was spoilt by her bad attitude.

The recent renovation is horrible. What was once a pub with open areas to socialize with friends has now been reduced to a narrow seating area because a giant poker machine room has beem built in the middle of the pub. Thanks for ruining another great pub with pokies. What a joke!

Great friendly atmosphere, Fabulous food menu with variety and portion sizes. Top value for a $10 Large Pizza — Wednesday nights.

Recent upgrade of the bistro deserves a mention… locals should def give it a try… renovated area has only been open a couple weeks but after previous disasters there the bistro decor is an improvement and the food is 100% better. All you guys need is a better by the gala red wine selection and a way to tell everyone that the bistro is now awesome and you're on your way.

Cheap enough for the location but room 4 where we stayed is like a prison cell. 2 single beds crowded into a box room. The bathroom sliding door was stuck so you used the toilet with no privacy. There is a bright light on the tin roof which shines directly into this room so when you turn the room light off you are still basking in an orange glow. We laughed … we had to. Wouldnt stay again.

Its definitely nicer looking on the outside than the inside, to be honest. Very generic interior in terms of decor. That said, I've no real complaints otherwise. There was a couple of decent craft ales on tap, and the service couldnt be faulted.
