Berida is in a fantastic location in Bowral with extremely comfortable beds & a hot & strong shower in a well appointed room. There is a great restaurant on site as well with the staff throughout the hotel being attentive & helpful.
We always stay here when in Bowral. The surrounding area of the southern Highlands is full of beautiful little villages & some of the most stunning countryside you'd see anywhere.

This hotel is definitely worth a visit.
With it's own unique style, friendly staff, clean & offers good facilities. Great location.

Absolutely love the Berida! Ive has the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful spaces it offers for both a girls trip away in one of the cottages and a large suit for a romantic getaway with my husband. The bar is the perfect t first stop for a cocktail to unwind amongst the incredible decor!

My girlfriends and I had the most amazing weekend away in Bowral and staying at The Berida made it even more special. From check in to check out and everything in between, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Nicole and her staff were absolutely incredible, super friendly and made our stay intimate and about us, and not just a business transaction. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant and the food and staff were that of a five star rating! Bar staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The property and its interiors and decor are absolutely stunning. The combination of rustic yet elegant interior style add charm and beauty making it the perfect place to stay in Bowral. Thank you so much Berida Hotel for giving us this amazing experience and we can’t wait to see you again in October xx.

Great venue, spectacular setting and great staff. Came for post birthday lunch for my wife and the selection of gins is amazing, good comfy bar seating with great atmosphere. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely return.

We visit Bowral frequently each year. The Berida is our go to for accommodation, a glamorous boutique Hotel with all the charm. The beds are comfortable and the fire place is the perfect spot for an intimate glass of wine with your partner.

Friendly service in a lovely historic building just minutes from the Main Street. We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the guest lounge, swimming in the heated pool, darts and 8 ball, and dined in the restaurant. Why would you leave?

Great position, refurbishment looks great! Such friendly staff, bar excellent and rooms lovely, we love visiting here.

Stunning hotel with a great mix of old and new furniture throughout the hotel. Plenty to do in the hotel itself such as swim in the indoor pool, relax in the piano lounge, eat in the stunning restuarant or put your feet up in your hotel room. Our room had a fully stocked mini bar, very modern bathroom and comfortable king bed. Would definately recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to the town but far enough away to feel in the country.

Beautiful hotel with lovely ambience and plenty of nooks and crannies to chill out in. Grandma's meatballs in the bar are amazing with sourdough bread made on site — a must try! Great location — less than 10 minutes walk to town.

Outstanding food and customer service with great attention to our needs by waitress Louisa who is as good as we have seen in our travels. Polite and very professional and her attention to detail is just brilliant. Also congratulations to the Chef and his kitchen staff on very good food delivery. Well presented all round. A pleasure it was.

An absolute gem! If you desire comfort, privacy and architecture… do not pass the Berida! I guarantee you'll never forget your experience!

Absolutely loved this boutique hidden gem of a hotel. Stunning interior design consisting of old world style with a modern twist. Love the wooden floors covered in carpet and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were lovely and professional. The guest lounge is lovely with the fireplace and cosy couches and the business center where guests are able to help themselves to tea & coffee is a nice touch. We can’t wait until we return next week for another 2 nights!

Pretty boutique hotel it's quiet and warm with character. Excellent restaurant and food that can be a little pricey. Room was clean, comfortable and well presented. Wi-Fi was great and smoking areas provided.

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff and great facilities including a tennis court, games room, heated swimming pool, small gym, spa and guestroom with an open fire.

Such a cosy spot to stay. It's like a bnb but commercial. The lounge with the fireplace is the best to sit and read late into the night. :)

What a find! A lovely old home that's been tastefully converted into a boutique hotel. Take the time to explore the complex while you're there. Already I'm looking for an excuse to go back there.

This place is a gem, the interior designer has done some amazing job with the strong vintage vibe. The paintings, walls, corridors, random places where you can just sit and have a chat or just contemplate… everything was fantastic! The lady at the reception (Christine if I am not mistaken) is so bubbly, friendly and helpful! :) And last but not the least, the restaurant — Bistro Officina! Wow… wont forget! One of the most memorable dinners to have in Southern Highlands for sure! We tasted the Cinque experience and we had to literally crawl back to our room. We were full yet enticed to experience more and more.

Really enjoy staying here. Great staff, decent rooms, good internet, laundry available. Location is good but requires car or a bit of a walk to town. Only negative is parking is terrible if you can’t get into the front lot.

Nice hotel overall if you like spending time outside in the garden, playing darts/pool or drinking coffee in the library. The place has a nice ambiance. Pool + Spa was extremely dirty, heavy grime build up in the spa especially. Dry sauna + spa jets were out of order. Rooms are semi decent besides older bathrooms, beds are clean. Not worth what we paid $220p/n.

Stayed for a night at the Berida Hotel. Not too bad, all told. A couple of disappointments — the shower was affected by every other room on our floor, so it was hard to get the right temperature of water, and the food from the restaurant was eye-wateringly expensive. We had a bad dish at the restaurant, and management charged us the full price anyway, despite admitting that the dish could have been improved.

This was a fantastic stay. Beautiful accommodation and very well priced. Loved the coffee bar.

Berida Hotel is amazing. Everything you could ask for when travelling I was just stopping for one night but ended up staying for three. The staff are so helpful best I have seen in a long time. I look forward to coming back soon!

Beautiful hotel with lovely decor. The Italian restaurant attached was fantastic. There is also lovely lounge/bar with fireplace. We had a great stay!

A total disappointment for a $300/night accommodation. Don’t be fooled as the exterior and the interior around the hotel look way better than the actual rooms. The most shocking was the really old bathroom in desperate need of renovation: no bath tub in a “family” room designated for families with children, shattered sink, shower black with grime between the tiles, cracked tiles, peeling sealant between the wall and the sink. The room was also poorly designed as the light on the AC unit is too bright for people sleeping right beneath it. Try sleeping with a green moon shining into your eyes and say it’s no big deal. It would have been justified if it were half the price, but at $300/night it certainly doesn’t meet the expectations. P. S. Are the photos illustrating the point censored by the hotel? They don’t show up.

I only stayed for a short time but the hotel is very nice. The only complaint was that the room I was in was fairly small and there was no way to sit upright anywhere in the room (no chair and you couldn't lean on the headboard of the bed because it was poorly attached). Mind you I was in the most basic room they offered so ignore this issue if you are in a larger room.

This place is a palace… Very nice hotel… lovely staff. If you've ever been to the Drake in Chicago… not quite on the same level but lets just say its a mini version of that. Its got history, elegance and a touch of flare. Rooms are smallish but cosy. An elegant restaurant, a gym, indoor swimming pool and a games room aka pool/billiards table, oh and a lounge (old style cigar room, but of course smoking indoors is illegal), where you could have a game of poker or chess or read a book in peace. This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town.

Very nice refurbished with lots of charm: much more appealing than modern hotels. It has large rooms with high ceilings, modern bathrooms, wood panelling etc. Guest pool room and seats in gardens.

Currently has sections under renovation, everything else is immaculate with friendly helpful staff and amazing outdoor settings.

Recently stayed for a wedding and was wowed from the start. Amazing charm throughout, generous rooms and great staff… highly recommend and already considering another weekend away here.

Renovated since our last visit, and transformed from a dated hotel into one with a classic style. Great facilities also, large heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa, gym, tennis courts etc. And plenty of places to relax. Walking distance to town.

Serendipity — As we were driving from Corowa we were looking for somewhere to stay in the vicinity of Bowral, Mossvale and Mittagong. We’d spent an hour scouring trivago, stayz, wotif with not a sniff for anywhere to stay. Mitta didn’t get a gong, we gave mossvale a miss — this time — and Bowral was the bowl over winner — perhaps it had something to do with Don Bradman. What we didn’t realize was that NSW was already in school holiday mode, with a labour day weekend and the NRL grand-final. We took a victorian punt kick and rang the Bowral information centre who were very helpful and found us no less than three choices amongst which was the Berida hotel — mainly because it had safe parking at the back for our little trailer! We arrived to discover we got the last room in this delightful manor house, originally owned by a medical family and bequeathed to the red cross in the second world war. Since run as a health retreat and now a boutique hotel — indoor swimming pool and spa billiards table and darts, suit of armour, a guest lounge with complimentary Prosecco. We settled in with a 5 course degustation at the adjacent restaurant welcomed by one waiter who called us sugars and another a part time actor who welcomed my Dad jokes — the last course was black chocolate truffles presented in a bowl of charcoal and wafting dry ice — we smiled at each other with squid ink teeth and not even that could wipe the smiles off our faces — the organic french champagne made sure of that.

Service was great, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms a little dated but are in thr process of a refurb. Close location to town center.

Recently renovated so it is in excellent condition, friendly staff and convenient to get to town centre or other towns. Only let down is bathroom not water sealed and limited powerpoints for electricals to meet your needs.

Last time I stayed it was Berida Manor and was lovely … accom still good but restaurant very poor … way too expensive and, unless you book (which we were advised was not necessary) no chance of a table in bistro … had to take bar table near external door … disappointing menu and condescending service … will never recommend or stay again …

Old lovely Luxe decor and comfy bed pillows, but housekeeping poor. No towels or bath mat and no phone to call reception. Was given towels, no bath mat and phone never arrived. Restuarant attached is very good. Breakfast room is lovely.

A nice hotel but not hugely satisfied for the price. Staff were excellent, two free drinks in the bar was a nice offer. Small bar with a fireplace and some games (chess, cards etc) was great. Bed was two single mattresses instead of one, for the price I expect better, it was fairly comfortable to be fair. Loud plumbing in the early morning woke us up, its an old building so somewhat expected, still not nice to be woken up. Car park was quite muddy, not the end of the world but annoying having to trudge through mud to get to the hotel. Renovations are in progress, not advised of this in advance but they didn't seem to affect our stay. Indoor pool is nice though spa was closed.

We loved the common areas of the hotel. It gave a feeling of warmth and comfort, a good area to read and relax. Our room was adequate but found the bathroom quite inadequate, the heater did not work and lacked privacy. The large heater next to the bed provided warmth but was too hot at night when in bed. The dark walls give atmosphere but I felt a little hemmed in. A lighter colour scheme would be more cheerful. The restaurant and bar was excellent, with excellent service from the staff and great food especially the weekend breakfast. We also liked the guest bar down the hall. We would return if we stayed in a room with a better bathroom. The traditional style of the hotel is very pleasing.

Currently under refurbishment, but was very impressed with offering to date. Looks like reviewer before me had a bad experience but in my opinion the rate far exceeds expectation & staff explained bathrooms were next phase of works. Highly recommended! Restaurant is incredible too!

Quaint 1950s style accommodation, comfortable bed, relaxed old world atmosphere. Needs renovation … Wi Fi data allowance very limited! And has poor strength … Only basic toiletries offered.

Old decrepit and falling down. Rooms dark and dreary overpriced cobwebs on all the windows. What more is there to say. Might have changed in the last 2 years!

Rooms are very dated and needing an upgrade. The bed was uncomfortable and had a mattress which was longer than the base. The tariff increased from $148 per night to $215 per night without notification. That is for a Friday night. Not worth that kind of money. On the bright side the breakfasts were good and varied. The ensuite was modern and clean. I would not stay at this establishment in future it needs an update to match the high tariff.
