Might be worth clarifing over the phone that the family room only has 2 singles… Singles at totally different heights I might add so I couldn't even push them together, trust me I tried. My entire body is stiff after sleeping in the same position all night. This was my regular Grafton motel, will be trying a few others now.

It was reasonably priced & provided the services we required adequately, the staff were friendly & brekky was awesome for a measly $10.00.

Quite, clean, nothing was any trouble for staff, even moved own car so I could park my trailer.

Deluxe room was recently renovated. Good location, handy to everything. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Good water pressure good sized tv. Fridge microwave toaster jug all supplied. Was quiet in room, no road noise in the room we stayed in.

Well setup room can watch TV from the shower via a mirror, across the road from a large shopping centre for simple accommodation it does an excellent job.

Very freindly helpful staff. After a long day on the road we got the perfect welcome.

One of the loveliest motel rooms I have stayed in. Beautifully decorated all the essentials real milk a plus. Very comfortable would recommend.

This motel is in a great location in Grafton — just a short walk to the restaurants and town centre and right opposite a shopping centre. Our economy double room had everything we needed — super comfortable bed, good shower, Wi-Fi, basic kitchenette and flat screen TV. The double glazing was quite effective and eliminated most of the road noise. The only negative (& it was a very small negative) was that our kitchenette and TV were in a tiny room next to our main bedroom which meant that we couldn't watch TV in bed.

Surprisingly good and refurbished. Looks much nicer on the inside than the outside. $125/night for a single room. The executive suite is a good deal if you have 2 or more people and don't mind having a common hall and shared space. Easy access to the centre of Grafton and next to shopping world.

A very pleasant stay. The bed was super comfortable, the shower excellent. The room is very tired and a little noisy from the other guests, but good value overall.

Recently renovated with modern and comfortable facilities. The attention to detail was excellent. A pefect place to stay. We will stop by again!

Our room was basic and clean and the premises was nice but we got an upstairs room at the front of the premises which was very noisey all night. Lots of traffic noise, including the truck who came to empty the skip bins at 4am. The people in the room next door were noisey also, and we could clearly hear them. Not much sleep was had by me or my 6 month old baby.

The staff was very nice. Room is nice and clean.

Staff have made my 3 children and I very welcome accommodating my every need. Extremely clean and fresh, value for money.

The old rooms are really old and dated. I'm not sure how the old owners let it get like this. The rooms would have been dated in 1990! But the hotel has new owners now — an enthusiastic young couple who are really keen to make this business great. The new rooms are awesome, but unfortunately I had to have an older room this stay so I can only review based on that. The $10 breakfast deal is excellent value. When all the rooms are rennovated, this hotel will be superb. The old rooms are really old, and even depressing in a way, but it is very clean and owners with this much enthusiasm should be supported.

We have stayed overnight a few times at The Abbey Motor Inn before and was impressed with the quality and welcome provided, then last week, when we booked in for our monthly stay, we were blown away when we were given one of the newly renovated rooms. Wow! I have stayed in 5 star upmarket hotels overseas and these rooms more than matched them. The decor was wonderful, the bed, oh so comfy, the new large screen TV, the new modern furniture, the bathroom, everything was fabulous. So modern and shiny. Whoever was responsible for the interior design did a magnificent job. Nothing is too much trouble for the excellent, friendly staff and the cooked breakfasts are a delicious treat for us. We shall definitely be staying with them again. Joy and Bruce.
