Very good service in all sectors. Excellent to rest and enjoy the beauty of Lake Argentino directly. The view from the rooms to the lake is breathtaking. It is recommended to stay one more day and recover from the excursions of the whole day. Restaurant few options but very good. The only way against is those who seek to be close to the center there are transfers but at certain times.

Clean place with spectacular views, sadly during our visit the pool was on repair. Higher quality for the price they charge.

The hotel is very innovative in its architectural design. It has more than ten years of use and its facilities require maintenance in some sectors. The first nights we were placed in a room that did not have a heating according to the necessities of the low temperatures of the South zone of the Argentinian Patagonia. After claiming on two occasions about the particular, we were moved to another room that was with good heating. The location in a low-populated sector and in a high sector allows you to enjoy beautiful views of Lago Argentino and the locality of El Calafate.

Good: big and comfortable rooms, nice view where you touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good food but not plentiful, nothing cheap.
Bad: lack of maintenance in some sectors, very strict with the checkout knowing that my flight went to the 17hs, dogs that bark and annoy all night and no one does anything (they are from the hotel), very far from the center. The Wi-Fi is lousy you can not open or check emails.

Very nice hotel, and the service very good. Except once we had to have breakfast earlier, just as we started the breakfast schedule, and the service was not expected, we were reluctantly treated. The view of the lake is breathtaking. It can be uncomfortable to be away from the village. But if you seek tranquility, it is the ideal place.

Really poor service here. The rooms are large and spacious. But at check-in they insisted on making us wait until the exact start of check-in time despite being a large hotel, then took a huge group and checked them all in before us, taking 45 minutes. Service in the restaurant was equally terrible. The location is quite far from the city centre — they do have a shuttle but it runs at the most inconvenient times. Avoid.

We stayed on April 2018. The staff 5 stars, excellent attention, all very comfortable, quiet, beautiful facilities, the heated pool always hot, nice Solarium, Sauna, (although very cold at night the gym) The restaurant deserves a separate review, the dishes are Gourmet, it shows that there is a Chef in the kitchen. Also has good prices, dinner for two between 500/600, breakfast very abundant, exquisite. The only thing to improve is the exterior that overlooks the lake, Calafate is extremely arid, and the hotel area is also, but you could pay attention to the landscaped and a greener outer area with banks to go out and see the scenery and take mate on the outside As they have no development anything outside the hotel (this is something of all the hotels, not this one in particular, none of the lake area Hotel has landscaped) but it would be something to give it an extra plus and they would win my 5 stars! It would also be nice to incorporate seats in the balcony area. The view is unbeatable, they are located in the best area. It is far from the city but they have available two daily shuttles to go and return to the center, although with the facilities that the hotel has there is no need to go anywhere. I stayed a few more days in another hotel adjacent and came back to make use of the rest, I loved it!

The hotel is devine, the location fabulous with the best views and great food. We ate there every night and it was always great and reasonably priced. Certainly the best place to stay in the city.

Very nice Hotel for such a small town. A little out of the way, but from the blow located in a quiet area on the heights with an amazing view of the lake. Nice pool, breakfast to see. We did not eat there, but the concierge advised US 2 restaurants very well.

The hotel is small but very nice and cozy. The staff is super nice. The rooms are ampias and with a beautiful view.

The hotel is very stylish, has some problems like the smell on the hallway above the pool and the heating system that seems to heat 3 rooms at a time so it gets quite hot. Decent breakfast.

Absolutely must have a room with a view of the lake, C is really beautiful. The rooms are large and rather well decorated but the hotel is poorly maintained C is a pity!

The place is nice and service is decent but it is poorly kept. The pool is amazing, but it has some tiles are missing, in the room the curtains had a small hole and you could see many small details had been fixed cheaply. On the other hand the view from the restaurant towards the lake is amazing. Overall it is OK, but it is expensive and the hotel feels jaded.

The one star is for the reception staff who are the best thing about this hotel: friendly, efficient and speak English. For the rest… Appears new but is already run down. Overpriced. Rude staff and poor service in the restaurant. Not a single computer in the so-called business centre. Very thin walls so you can hear all your neighbours as if they were in your own room. Wi-fi practically unusable. Avoid!

Great hotel with a great view. But most of the employees (except two caretakers of the night now) are all unpleasant or rude. And it spoils the rest. They forgot that hospitality and kindness are crucial and increasingly it is not more expensive.

The Hotel is beautiful, but unfortunately are not prepared to meet the winter season, we were with my family in the 19 to the 23 of July, and really had a lot of awkward, with the food with the spa, with the water of the room which had to fill it 3 times and get the water before using because it was dirty and with foam, the heated pool, was with the cold water, sauna, steam room didn't work, the scottish shower had to give it 15 minutes earlier to make it work, the dry sauna was, but he was not in the same some soda to take. The safety deposit boxes that were in the habiatacion were not walled up to any side, etc. Don't really recommend it, in 4 days that we were staying, was never the manager of the hotel, because according to informed us he was on leave, over the total amount of the entire stay, we took in the month of April, the resracimiento that they gave us was descontarnos 20% in the extras that we have had in 4 days, we were 3 families with the total of the group we occupy the rooms 322, 323, and 415.

This "hotel" is an absolute " no go" due to my negative experience. There is no "value for money" as it is suggested on the homepage: we paid 142 US$ (! ) for one night and got a room in the backyard. After complaining the situation at the reception I wanted to talk with the hotel manager (Mrs. Ana Vellani), who was busy on the phone at this time as Gabriela, the reception manager, was telling me. After 30 minutes of waiting time I was told by her, that Ana had to go (I saw her disappearing silently). Resuming: this Hotel has a wrong attitude towards the customer and no willingness for a customer solution or a customer benefit and is suggesting more value (rooms with lake view) than actually given. A big disappointment. P. S. : After two hours in town we found a message at the hotel room asking, why we did not call Ana at the phone. This is ridiculous and very un professional (like in childrens garden), because she disappeared on purpose.

Great view, very good indoor pool, gym and sauna. A very good restaurant. Very cordial attention.

Really bad service from the staff. They really don't know how to treat tourists and people visiting the town. We look for hotels that appreciate the guests. They make you pay and pay and pay but never move an inch to make you a favor.

The best hotel in calafate, although is a bit removed from the Center.

This hotel has a drop dead gorgeous view since it is located on Lago Argentino. They are located far from town and require a shuttle to downtown Calafate. If you don't get a corner, larger room (like I did), you are in for a small room with tons of plumbing issues. They food is really bad here. It is all frozen and reheated for guests for dinner. I had icy steak and frozen dessert. The buffet is a cold meat and fruit buffet for breakfast. They front desk staff do not speak English well and not very friendly. We know a number of people complained about service during our stay.

The hotel has a very good restaurant for dinner (breakfast not so much) and an excellent view over lago Argentino (probably the best in El Calafate). We were not that happy though for the following reasons. Despite several complaints, they did not manage to get the Wi-Fi in the rooms working, it only worked (more or less) in the lobby. The hotel is about 4 km from the center of the city and it's only reachable by an unpaved road. Walking takes at least half an hour, but there are 5 shuttles between 6 and 10 pm, once every hour. In general, many small things one might consider standard were not working (eg. Wi-Fi, sauna), cost extra (eg. Bathrobes for going to the pool) or were not provided. Unless you really need the view and anyway rent a car, it's not worth the price.
