Don’t stay here! The extremely prejudicial and xenophobic parking manager goes around the hotel premises mocking and insulting Asian guests. He tries to mockingly imitate our accents and punctuates it with ching chong! I had enough of his antics when he followed me to my taxi and continued his shrill condescending tone! He is so disgusting! When I brought it up to the management, he vehemently denied it and preposterously the management took sides with him!
You know what they say; you quarrel with one, the rest joins in.
After the incident, I was ignored by all the waiters in the restaurant. They looked past me as if I am transparent. I hailed the young waiter, nonchalantly he told me someone would attend to me but service never came. Even the Russian lady in the next table was appalled by such callousness and unprofessional attitude. 45 minutes to me still waiting to be served.
However, it didn’t end there. I was at the front lobby waiting for my taxi when the same parking manager who was spraying water on the porch was there. I avoided him so as not to get wet but when he saw me, he followed me and when I was not looking, he sprayed me with the hose of water! Drenching the entire back of my trousers! He pretended nothing happened. I was livid and brought it up to the GM and am sure they have a cctv installed but instead of confirming it, they strenuously denied it, turned around and played victim to circumstances.
Heinous receptions and front desk. Rooms were not as promised, and prices were inflated. They have been harassing my client and me for approximately 6 months over a payment that we have documentation of being made. Even with that documentation, no less than 12 threatening and harassing emails have been sent! Improper handling of clients information, improper processing of credit cards, heinous confrontation, and 100% lack of disrespect towards partners in the travel industry. I would never recommend this hotel, or further more their partners to any client, or friend alike personally or professionally. I am posting here after working directly with the 3rd party travel vendor, who agreed leaving feedback was the first step on working towards a resolution. I wish Ark to take this seriously, and amend all issues in place.
