My family and I stayed in the Maple Grove cabin for three nights in January 2026. The facilities were excellent, friendly hosts and beautiful surroundings.

A great venue with stunning gardens. Very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our host Lathula was amazing!

Would definitely recommend a stay. Amazing accommodation and area to explore.

We were so impressed by the fantastic service we got from Mavis and the team at Arminal.
I had left a whole lot of clothes, jewelery and make-up behind.
They couriered it to me with every last piece!

A truly memorable experience. We loved staying at the Arminel Hotel. We checked into one of the cottages and it was one of the best stays we have ever had in our lives.

Cleanliness in terms if dogs and not everyone being dog friendly, BUT again, great place. Great staff and food. Great views and friendly locals. Would recommend aswell.

This has become our highlight experience away. So much thought has been put into every detail — including themed message boards in the communal area, and themed bathrooms, to match each teepee.

Cold in the winter, but hot water bottles are provided as well as ample beding and a fireplace in the center of the teepee.

I had the pleasure of staying in Cottage at Kings Lodge Hotel for a weekend. What a beautiful place to be at, so tranquil and rustic.

Yes, old country inn. Nothing to complain about. The service was 100% and the food was yummy. We enjoyed the quaintness of Hogsback. Will come back a 3rd time to Kings Lodge, just what city folk need.

The cottage has all the amenities one requires when away from home. It was comfortable and clean and the hosts were helpful with their guidance of activities taking place.

Self service. Rooms with double bed and a single bed. Bathroom has a shower. Right on the main road so easy access to everything around you.

Always lovely visiting Bredon Cottage as the views are amazing. Also keep an ear out for the famous parrots unique to Hogsback.

Spent a lovely few days in Hogsback at the Khayalethu Cottage. The cottage was furnished to ensure that we had everything we would need for a comfortable and relaxing time.

Delicious food at the green dragon cafe, super friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous views and cozy rooms.

Basic and rustic, but a beautiful setting and friendly. Nice little restaurant on the premises. The lookout point has spectacular views of the valley.

Possibly the nicest spot to stay in Hogsback with its spectacular position on the mountain and breathtaking view.

Not a sound to be heard besides nature. Clean and has everything you need for self catering. Views are the best in hogsback.

Touraco is the best resturant BY FAR in Hogsback and Laurent prepares the most delicious home made meals with so much love and passion.

Fabulous food, and exceptional value.

We hired 3 of the cottages as there were a lot of us there for a wedding. Everything was perfect and if any hassles were encountered, Ian attended to them immediately.

My family & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rapunzel’s cottage.

We did a short notice booking on our way back home. They were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were clean and had enough towels.

I came here to for a good craft beer and good food! The Inn delivered on both. Definitely worth a visit here. The pub area is modeled to look like an English pub.

We had an amazing stay at Diamond Vault! Morné is such a great and knowledgable host, always going out of his way to make sure everything was perfect!

Easy to find, not much traveling needed, roads not too bad, very helpful and friendly residents, close to nature, animals in their natural habitat is a sight to be seen.

If you're after an authentic country experience without silly things like TV and Wi-Fi (why would you want that in this serene setting) then this is your best bet.
