Our stay at the kings lodge was out of this world. We had a warm welcoming and beautiful and pleasant stay so cozy and clean. Definitely will be back. Kings lodge is absolutely amazing and beautiful sad to leave.

My family had a lovely Christmas Lunch @Kings Lodge Hotel in Hogsback. The place is quiet, tranquil. The staff is friendly, receptive, helpful & friendly. Definitely a place to visit & reflect.

My husband and I had the best weekend away, so peaceful! And we got to bring our furry friend with us and such friendly service, will definitely be going back!

What an amazing weekend my husband and I had at Kings Lodge this weekend! We were so blessed to win your Facebook competition and felt spoilt from the minute we arrived! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! The non-alcoholic sparking wine (seeing as I’m pre pregnant) and the complementary breakfast were not expected but hugely appreciated! The staff were all so friendly and helpful and as my husband says, “you know you’re in a classy establishment when you ask for Tabasco sauce and they ask you if you’d prefer red or green! ” Thank you for everything, we really appreciate it!

Definitely a place to tick off of your bucket list. Hogsback is famous for its forests, waterfalls and mountains and there is no better way to experience this than staying over at Kings Lodge.

A home away from home. Staying in the Snowflake chalet we were greeted with friendly staff, a cozy home for our stay and monkeys in the trees. Will definitely be returning!

We spent 3 nights at the hotel at the end of July 2018, to take part in Hogsback`s Winter Celebration. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable; even including electrical blankets — utter bliss after coming in from the cold! After one such night, and expecting to come back fairly late, we even found the fire place in the lounge readily stacked. In no time at all, the cold room was transformed into a cozy and comforting place, and we stayed up longer than intended… We found the staff friendly and attentive, and especially enjoyed our "Christmas" dinner that Saturday night in a beautifully decorated dining room! Thanks again, to all the staff on duty that weekend!

Friendly staff. Very peaceful and perfect for people that want to get away from the noise of cities. Facilities has a swimming pool, a bar and a restaurant. Walking distance from other great restaurants and activities.

It is a pity that I only slept for one night, but that one night has painted a future for many more. The service, the facilities and helpfulness of the people involved was great. I definitely will be visiting again.

I recently stayed at King's Lodge for 3 nights with a group of delegates from our institution. The hotel and cottages are lovely and comfortable. The food was delicious and more than any of us could ever finish — there was even special provision made for a vegetarian colleague. The staff are very friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Management was always available to assist and support no matter how great or small our needs were and were very accommodating. The views are absolutely amazing and the environment is a real treat to work in. Thank you to Steve, Denise and your incredible team for the great service and friendly atmosphere. We hope to return soon.

This place is amazing! Highly recommend it as a stop for ANY traveller.

A lovely old world hotel. Only have baths in the rooms hence the mediocre score. The rooms are also a little dated but it fits so well into the Hogsback vibe. Manager and staff are very accommodating and friendly. But the beds and bathrooms could benefit from an upgrade.

Comfortable stay, with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is decent too. The rooms are small but we'll furnished.

Largest provider of accommodation in the area. Nice small bungalows/cottages for family and friends to share.

Attractive grounds with modest but comfortable cottages. The lack of showers is reason enough to avoid this establishment however if that's something you care about. A real shame that they drop the ball on something so basic.

FRIENDLY FAMILY HOTEL WITH EXCELLENT FOOD — Really nice central location in the middle of Hogsback Village. Staff was very accommodating towards us and our toddler, it felt like being among friends. Thank you for the DIVINE meal and activity recommendations. Keep it up guys.

Not the best Christmas lunch I have ever had, lamb roast to tough to chew Gammon was served up as pieces of string, not carved slices as one would expect, very disappointed.

Warm Hogsback hospitality at its best! Home cooked food, rooms spotless and the staff friendly and attentive. This hotel might not be luxurious, at the same time we could not help but feel right at home.

Very nice lodge, the staff is very friendly and really make you feel at home. The room I stayed in was nice and clean. The bathroom needs a makeover, or just a shower.
