Mkango Golfview Hotel

It's a very good place to be at, the staff are well trained and very social, the food is nicely prepared and very taste.

M'kango Golf view hotel was "okay", professional staff, pleasant environment. The food was good. We did still have to wait for our room despite having called ahead, we checked in around 5 p. M. But our room wasn't ready. I hope I can visit again soon because it seems to be under new management. There were some renovations being done, new furniture being brought in, so I genuinely look forward to what the future holds for them. Hopefully more modern fittings and amenities as our room was a bit dated. It's been around for a while and hopefully it gets the update it deserves.
For those not familiar with Lusaka and relying on GPS, slow down as you approach the entrance to the hotel premises 😅 if you miss it, it's a long way around.

But there have been some maintenance and noise problems reported by previous visitors. The new owners of the former Cresta Golf View hotel are upgrading the hotel facilities. During our stay, the reception area was being renovated.
The hotel is on Lusaka’s East Road, a 30-minute drive from the airport. Pickup from the airport for $25 was well arranged by the hotel and the driver was friendly and cheerful.
In June 2024, our room 223 on the first floor (2F) with quiet garden views, away from the overly noisy East Road, had a brand-new split air-conditioning installed. The rest of the room looked reasonably clean, but like the whole hotel, it needs modernisation. The bed slept comfortably and the hot shower was good.
Breakfast buffet was served in the restaurant with continental items and a salad bar. Service was good. In the afternoon, there is a well-stocked bar next to the swimming pool on the green lawn where impalas are grazing.
After completed renovation, M'kango Golfview hotel will be a good and affordable hotel on the east side of Lusaka. Recommended.

Nice place they have good rooms with a very comfortable beds and they also have a pool to fresher up our bodies. Try to visit the place you will enjoy and also other things I dint mention you will find it on your own it's a nice place.

The food was very nice. I only had a problem with the beans, but everything else was tasty and perfect. The snacks and desserts, I enjoyed them a little too much 😅.
This is a great place for corporate workshops and meetings.

Service stop tier, with polite staff. From the front office all the way to security personnel. Expect that any question, grivience, or request will be given the attention required. Great service always makes any short comings inconsequential. Well done Team, It can only get better from here. Will definitely visit this place again next I'm in Zambia!

We had a conflict with the dinner bill and Patson worked hard to resolve it for us. Excellent customer service. The rooms were also great for the bridal party.

The rooms are clean, with bedding and towels changed daily. Two bottles of water, coffee, and amenities are provided on a daily basis. The reception staff and restaurant are very friendly and hospitable. The food is good and tasty.

The hotel is a fairly good place that may not meet the standards of a plush 5 star luxury setup. The food is generally average and will not wow you. While the location is generally good, you will need to drive an extra 5 km or so to access it by car if coming from the Lusaka CBD direction. The rooms are tolerable.
