Amazing location, amazing staff amazing food, amazing accommodation.

Girls trip spent 3 nights, 4 days at the royal Zambezi lodge. We did day/night game drives, boat cruises, fishing trips, yoga and art sessions and we try out some of the available options at the spa. Everything was superb, all staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Every day was an amazing adventure! I highly recommend this lodge for single, couples and family with kids. Above all the food was super delicious.

It’s the most amazing place to be for a holiday/Vacation. The atmosphere is cozy, the reception is amazing and the food is yummy 🤤! 🙌🏿

What an amazing time we had at Royal Zambezi! The staff really made us feel at home and made our anniversary really special. The Safari was awesome, and fishing was a great success too. Food and ambience were just perfect. 3 nights was too short, we will definitely be back to experience the superb hospitality again. Great vacation, 10/10!

What great service not only is the food and service great the guides also know their stuff. Not only that they go the extra mile to keep their guests happy when my brakes failed they were able to fix hem as good as new allowing for a stress free stay. Thanks again!

The best experience ever for amazing safaris! The part I preferred was the kayaking into the Chanel to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants etc!

The Royal experience was so surreal, everything was on point starting from the staff, food, rooms, activities… Never been to a place that has people so organized. The place itself is heaven on earth!

We stayed at Royal Zambezi Lodge in July with a big group of adults and kids. It was absolutely superb and I would recommend 100%. The staff were amazing with the kids, nothing was too much trouble and they enabled the parents in the group to get some time together child-free. The rooms were beautiful and spacious and the main deck and bar over looking the river were a really lovely place to gather and eat. Activities were fantastic and again the staff were so knowledgeable and accommodating.

Private casitas each with a plunge pool facing the Zambezi River. Netted walls give an immersive experience. Enjoy the breeze as elephants amble past. The food is incredibly good & the spa (Sandra) rivals any Four Seasons or Canyon Ranch facility. Aaaah!

The most incredible safari experience. Being able to enjoy a drink on the Zambezi River and see a herd of elephants stroll by beside your lodge was the most amazing experience. Leopard, Lions, Hyena and Hippo’s to name a few. Thank you to Natalie and Ewan for making our experience truly magical and child friendly. Anybody with children MUST visit Royal Zambezi Lodge. Every member of staff makes you welcome and you soon become part of their Royal family. Not to mention the surprises on a daily basis which bring so much joy and delight. Fine dining in the middle of the bush! Thank you to Ewan, Nats, Mana, Martin, Joe, Tom, Victor, Wallace, Shaderick and anyone I have forgotten to mention. We all loved every minute of every day and we will treasure our memories until we return. I highly recommend Royal Zambezi for an unforgettable African safari. A place of magic, love and laughter. Wonderful three day visit to Lower Zambezi Lodge.

Have been coming to Royal for a decade now and is always a pleasure to come back. They are always improving on what is already a fantastic experience! Truly a wonderful trip always. The staff is very attentive to the guest.

We had 3 idyllic nights at Royal it was truly magical. The ele's, hippo's, crocs and bird life from the deck overlooking the Mighty Zambezi were breathtaking. There were so many lovely surprises organized by the very attentive happy staff, the food was excellent and the numerous bush and water safaris amazing.
Well worth the visit, we will be back.

Outstanding safari lodge.

A little piece of heaven placed on earth. Amazing staff (Natalie, Martin, Monica…) five star food and never a dull moment when a huge elephant comes round to your room to say hello. One visit is just not enough.
