We haven’t actually stayed at Taita Falcon Lodge but we do pop up there regularly for lunch. Good food (at an affordable price), great view of the World Heritage Site and some fabulous birds. Not to mention an always warm welcome.

Everything is perfect, definitely will recommend to friends, thx for giving us a amazing experiences!

Have stayed there 3 times now on our travels through Africa. Every time we've felt at home, relaxed and thoroughly looked after. We will be there again next year and Oom Faan is just the best!

Nice place, rustic, not for people looking for a 5* Safari Lodge but rather for the true nature lover that doesn't mind driving off the beaten track to get to a destination. It is by no means main stream. The Hospitality received was excellent and always genuine. Probably some of the best views I've seen from a Lodge balcony in my life… and I've seen some awesome views.

Amazing place with dreaming views to zambezi river across to Zimbabwe! Very nice gardens and plants and trees.

It is a really beautiful place to spend a few days at. The location and the views you get are magical. The hosts and all the service is great. On the downside it is a bit far out in the bush, so if you want to go places it will take some time getting there (plus, the roads are very bumpy). And the Wi-Fi will only work in the evening (if you're lucky). If you just want to get away on a relaxing trip and spend some time in a close to genuine african experience, I can absolutly recomend it.

What a great spot! We never stayed over, but popped in for a lunch — well worth the Jeep track to get there. Faan the owner and Dixon the bartender were great and we spent many hours watching the rafters come down rapid 17 and bird spotting. A great view, good service and cold beers — spot on!

I recently stayed at the Taita Falcon Lodge following a Zambezi River raft trip, and would rate its facility, staff, and management as excellent in all ways — a scenic, quiet, and comfortable place for the busy traveler to unwind while enjoying the activities and scenery near Victoria Falls. I recommend it highly.

Spectacular place with breath taking view I would recommend you to visit.

Beautiful lodge, amazing view of the lower Zambezi. Food was ok, and staff were helpful, but strange at times. Especially the main couple tend to be overly gregarious and pushy to a somewhat uncomfortable level. The lodges were all handmade and beautiful, but the hot water was spotty and very hard to make work and the electricity flickered quite often such that in the middle of the night lamps I'd turned on to read would strobe, making it impossible to either sleep or read. The events they had planned were almost all great, but many aspects weren't properly described or explained. The Wi-Fi worked at times, but was so incredibly slow as to be almost unusable when multiple people were using it. The lodge is also very far out, and the road there is long, unpaved, and very bumpy. The village next to the lodge is scenic and the people were incredibly nice and sold amazing woodwork and African crafts for very reasonable prices. Probably thr best part of the whole experience.

Amazing place to stay close to (although an 11km 4x4 off-road drive through the bush) Victoria falls. It's on the edge of the Bogota Gorge with a fantastic view of the Zambezi river and Zimbabwe beyond. If you want mobile coverage you'll need a sim from Zim or roam there. Thoroughly recommended as long as you don't mine the 40 min off road ride to go anywhere else. Great food and really nice people.

Very simple and rustic place to spent a night. Lovely shower. Friendly staff.
