Neat, clean hotel, located directly on the "Perfume River". The room furnishings have been a little bit over the years, but cleanliness fits.
Pool with paddling and swimming area – the result was that our Vietnamese accompaniment would almost drown;-)
Overall a nice place to spend a few days — the location of the hotel is also good as a starting point for excursions.

Wonderful location. Right on the riverside. Tourist hotspots within walking distance. Old building needing maintenance. Staff is cordial. Breakfast was good.

We had a room on the street side and it was very noisy. Across the street is an electronics store that blasts TV programs through outside speakers. Also the cars tooting their horns continues late into the night. The windows have no noise cancelling quality so it feels like the windows are open. The rooms are well appointment and the daily fruit tray is a bonus. The included breakfast is the poorest quality I have had in Vietnam. Still acceptable but definitely not a wow. Overall, I would have preferred to stay at another hotel.

Junior suite was a nice room with beautiful rattan structures and furniture and 2 bathrooms. The staff at the reception are smily and professional. Other than that the premises are old and scruffy. This probably boils down to the leadership of the hotel. Insufficient inveatment in maintenance.

This place is very well located. It is an older hotel and it shows. Although people working here are very nice you can't help but feel like it needs a major revamp. It is still a comfy place, huge breakfast restaurant, nice lobby, etc. But when you look a little bit closer it needs a little bit more TLC. If you get a room here make sure to stay on the river side! The view is great and much quieter than the front of the hotel. That annoying electronics store across the street and it's never ending commercials will get to you in no time! I gave it a 4 but it's more like a 3, it's 4 the eff4t! :)

The hotel is fine but the spa was beyond bad and unprofessional. Freezing temperature and what could be the worst massage of all time. I still cringe when I think about it.

A very chic and stylish, with a pinch of sophistication, a icon among the famous Riverside hotels in Hue City, named after the river Huong itself adds up the connection rooted to it's rich vietnamese traditional hospitality which is accredited 4-star. The joy of comfortable stay is doubled by the calm, serene and picturicue views of river. Totally worthy stay and hospitality in Hue City.

The hotel is on the Perfume River and the night atmosphere is really magical. The rooms are equipped with almost all comforts and clean. The fixtures should be changed because they really dated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very plentiful and varied. The prices are really low if placed in relation to the type of hotel.

Nice hotel right by the perfume River. Showing its age around some spots but overall very nice. They need to keep lotion in the room but overall we would stay at this hotel again.

Nice enough place for one night. Aging a little bit and I wouldn't recommend the buffet breakfast.

Pretty decent hotel. The pool isn't very fancy but it's nice to dip in on a hot day. The spa facilities are really good.

My wife forget her clothes she phoned to the receptionist after leaving the hotel about 30 minutes and they informed the clothes were not in the room!

The place is a bit old, being the oldest hotel in this town. Its famous but not exceptional. Buffet foods are just so so. Be careful when going for the tricycle rides outside the hotel cos they would rip you off and they dont take you to places you requested before. Its better and cheaper to use the taxi or just walk in my opinion.

Good value and location in the middle of Hue. Hotel is on the Perfume River. Breakfast is included in room price. Mostly internal Vietnamese tourists. Can be noisy and chaotic when large groups congregate in the lobby, pool, or dining room. Staff is nice but can be a bit intrusive, perhaps curious of Western tourists. Room need to be updated. Hallways are not air-conditioned.

Friendly staff. Beautiful view. But the food is not good.
