A truly excellent hostel right in the heart of the most beautiful city I've ever been to. A stone's throw from the old town, a mere minutes walk away from the best tailors in town and one of the best hostel breakfasts I've ever had the pleasure of indulging in. I simply could not believe a buffet breakfast that good was included in the price, I hope it stays that way forever! We booked for 3 people and had a 4 bed room to ourselves for the duration of our stay, and our room was also cleaned and beds made every day. The staff are all very friendly and the bicycle tour is a must do, the girl who runs it really is the warmest person on earth who knows everything about the city. Regretfully I forget her name but will never forget the effort she made in giving us a great evening! We didn't get to do any of the other tours they offer but cycling round the city and down to the beach have us some great views, although the beach is a good 20 minutes away by bicycle. Also don't miss the delightfully named Bich Cafe across the road.
À l'arrivée j'ai eu un bel accueil. Dans ma chambre, je regarde le matelas et aperçoit des traces de puces de lit (taches noires caractéristiques). Une employée vient voir et me dit que ce n'est que de la saleté mais avec aucune conviction dans sa voix, je lui dit que c'est des puces de lit et tout de suite elle me dit qu'elle va me changer de chambre. Dans la nouvelle chambre, ça sent beaucoup l'humidité, une autre caractéristique des puces de lit. Je lui demande alors pour la 2e fois si ils en ont déjà eu (la première fois elle m'a dit non) et elle me répond que oui, mais il y a 6 mois. J'ai préféré quitter pour ne pas prendre de chance et elles m'ont rembourser sans que j'ai à insister.
