I wish I could give Camellia Homestay more than five stars. Not only were they extremely open and welcoming, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and that we were comfortable. The accommodations themselves were great, but where the homestay shines is in how thoughtful they are of our needs. Some examples of this include an earlier than normal breakfast to accommodate our schedule, offering to make us dinner because they knew we'd be exhausted after a long day of biking, and even driving one of us to a nearby pharmacy and helping coordinate getting antibiotics after one of us had an injury (something I'm sure would have been difficult otherwise due to language barriers). They also made an amazing homestyle Vietnamese dinner on a separate occasion, preparing several local specialties we had been curious about. Lastly I have to call out the super fresh baguettes that accompanied every breakfast — literally still crackling as they set them on the table, having been rushed over from the nearby bakery. Overall I can't say I've encountered a more heartfelt family keen on helping travelers experience local life. Staying here has played a big part in making Hoi An a highlight in our southeast Asia travels!
