We stayed here for a couple of nights. Rooms are clean, large, and comfy. Staff are OK and helpful. However, watch out for Mr Cuong. He is Vietnamese and speaks very good English. He has a long face. He introduced himself as the manager and tried to get us to buy fast ferry tickets from him. We told him when we wanted to go and he said he would call his sister as she was the manageress of the fast ferry service. Mr Coung returned after a few minutes and said that the ferry was almost full, but his sister would save us 3 seats. He said the fare was 420, 000vnd or $20usd. We said we may spend a few days in Ha Tien before going, to which he got a little pushy. He gave us his number, which we thought was strange as he was the manager of the hotel we were staying in. The next day we walked up the main street and saw the fast ferry booking office. Just as we were about to go in Mr Coung appeared. He said don't go in there as the price would be more than what he had told us. We ignored him and went in. Good job we did! Fast ferry tickets are 230, 000vnd, not 420, 000vnd as Mr Coung had told us, and not is his sister the manager of the fast ferry. Also they told us that Mr Coung is not the manager of this, or any other establishment in Ha Tien. So,. Watch out for this guy as he sounds like a scammer.
Super service here, clean, tidy, good price. Came back for a second night after a few days on Phu Quoc. Arrived late to find the hotel booked out. English speaking lady at reception ran me over to their other hotel (Ngoc Ha Hotel) not far, booked me in and helped carry my luggage to my room. What great service, took away the stress of finding another hotel late at night. Highly recommended.
