We did not have hot water and roof top pool was really cold and only 2 lounge chairs in the sun.

Great experience in Can Tho. Hotel is located in a great location, right on the river. Convenient for visiting the night market right down the street as well as going on a river tour. Hotel front desk staff was able to book an amazing, cheap tour for me the night before. Tour guide was excellent! Would HIGHLY recommend staying at the West Hotel when in Can Tho!

Property very dated definitely enjoyed the splendours in a bygone era. Swimming pool small and dirty, but with a great view of the city. Breakfast-pretentious several dishes but devoid of quality… personally, I tacked on a toast with jam. The restaurant also severely defeated by the request of a club sandwich packaged in a botched and impersonal. Rooms small and bathrooms quite clean. The hotel insists on an area the market town of hell. Positive note the proximity to the embarkation areas (50 mt) to the floating markets and islands of the delta of the Mekong, these are definitely interesting.

Faded glory. This place was obviously once a grand hotel bit it is in SERIOUS NEED of some upkeep. The good: Room layout of great and the fittings are all high quality, but obviously the upkeep is really lacking. There is broken glass in our bathroom window, the furniture would have been great in the early 80's when I'm guessing it was installed, and it goes nicely with the flocked wallpaper. The location is Brilliant location though. Wit H a market straight out the front door and a few mins walk to the main waterfront area. Really disappointed that the The pool was out of service and… (update — it's open the next day) FAR MORE IMPORTANTLY the coffee machine in the resteraunt was also out of action. (Update — was working on our second day! ) I think this is really unacceptable as a coffee machine is not expensive to replace and to only offer what tasted like instant coffee in a country where there is good coffee everywhere is deeply disappointing. The whole place feels like it needs a serious work over. There is a good area that may become a roof bar and restaurant offering killer 360 degree views, and it would be fantastic but at the moment it's just used for storage. See pictures: I would not book this place till it is HOPEFULLY renovated.

Clean and tidy hotel, with a rooftop pool. Inside is nice enough but nothing special but it's not an expensive place so you get what you expect. The street outside the hotel has local markets all day which are busy for the entire day, this wasnt a bad thing just a strange thing to walk out of a relatively nice hotel into. The rooftop has nice views but the hotel could have been maintained a little better as it's a little tired. For the money the rooms cost it was a reasonable place to stay and I'd have no problems returning.

Good room and location but their receptionists were not so friendly.

Very clean, spacious rooms. Hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help you book tours, bus tickets, etc. Centrally located to the rest of Can Tho, and next to the water for easy river access.

Lower mediocrity of hotel
Unfortunately, not everything is as fresh as it seems at first glance.
It doesn't work —
Refrigerator did not cool (has been replaced).
The batteries for the safe were empty (unfortunately no replacement received).
The bathroom was not properly cleaned (there were still hairs in the sink).
Towels have holes!
Towel holders in the bathroom are loose so that no manuals can be hung.
The conditions of the loungers by the pool should be replaced as they are already a bit filthy.
Such things should not occur when purchasing the rooms as they are part of the normal standard and must be controlled.

For a night on a tour of the Mekong Delta enough if no other hotel is available.

Good rooms and good view. Nothing less, nothing more. The hotel is a little out of place in a popular area, you feel a little strange going in and out of what seems a luxury hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are luxurious and very spacious for the price. But don't go there for the swimming pool, it's small and very far from clean. I wouldn't go in for risk of diseases and I am not usually a picky person.

Great prices for a four stars hotel. Very clean and very helpful staff. Also great location.

Clean, good breakfast, pool on the 8th floor.

The hotel itself is a value- 1. Most rooms have river or partial river view 2. In-room amenities are good, such as hair dryer, bathrobes, mini bar, a safe， electric keetle and complimentary tea and coffee 3. They have a pool and overlooking the river 4. Reception and bell sraff speak goid English and with friendly and nice attitude 5. There is a restaurant opens till 10pm The bad: the hotel is located right in the middle of the wet market and it is messy.

Very nice room with very friendly staff. We read complaints about the market being right outside, but we actually liked that. However, I can see how if you're on a lower floor the noise might be a problem. My only complaints are there was a little bit of mildew in our shower, the latch for the window was broken so it wouldn't close all the way, and the pool was kind of lacking. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay for sure.

It's probably one of the nicer hotels in the area already. Looks like an old hotel that was renovated. It's directly in front of the wet market so the streets can be dirty and wet but you get to see seafood and vegetables being sold. The room we were in was very big but the aircon was not working. There were also molds on the wall and a dead cockroach.

This hotel is very well placed in the heart of Can tho market which if you arrive at night little surprise but let yourself lulled by the real life of the locals. The staff are friendly and easy to contact the transport services. The place is clean, the breakfast is ok without more. Can Tho is a city to be discovered on foot and also on the water. We met Mrs. Me… a whole story.

If you arrive late in the evening you may be surprised by the street but the next morning you will find yourself in the middle of the market and near the river. When at the hotel it is very clean comfortable and well equipped. The staff is at the small care. We were fortunate davoir a young woman who was learning French, she took charge of our bus reservation. Thanks to her.

Very good. Modern, with touchscreens that allow you to handle lights and several other things without getting out of bed. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Very clean Hotel next to the traditional port. Large, comfortable and domotic rooms. It has stunning views from the upper floors. Right below There are many small businesses that are engaged in food trade.

I recommend. Located in the middle of the local market.

Nice and spacious hotel right on the market in Can Tho. The hotel sitting by the waterfront, close to the wet market and the small local market as well as to the night market and De Tham street and the plethora of restaurants in it. The staff is friendly and the hotel offers free bicycles if you want to explore the vicinity.

New hotel, clean room, nice room, good location, delicious buffet. But small swimming pool. Friendly staff. Update: I returned West again. Deluxe room twin bed: 840k VND.

Warning you, do not use this hotel. I slept in the suite room last night but the room smells moldy, the bathtub is covered thick with dirty and above all things, cockroachs as big as my first finger are going around. (See the attached pic) How can it be $90 "suite room"? I strongly complained about it but they just said "sorry". That was all… Whew… The worst room ever. warning you, do not use this hotel.

I liked the location directly next to the street market. It really makes a contrast, on one side a rather fancy hotel, on the other side the busy typical street market. Really also liked the pool with a great view.

It is a nice **** hotel in the open market (this market is even in the night open). The room service is nice. It has a small restaurant, Free Wi-Fi, nice swimming on 9th floor with nice view. I recommend this hotel to everyone. You can change foreign currencies in the hotel in very nice rate better than at airport.

Nice hotel in the tourist heart of Can Tho city. Modern, clean, with friendly and speaking good English staff. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds with good mattresses. My Deluxe room had a sofa enough for a kid to sleep. Nice view over river. Breakfast is diverse with a good choice of western food. No room service menu in the room. If you want to order some food staff will bring menu to you. Main entrance is facing a street which most of the time is a food market street. So it is not clean and so narrow that a car or even a motorbike can get stuck. But there is a second entrance from parallel street which is more convenient for cars. Walking distance to tourist boat station and even to famous boat restaurant and to a hotel with a casino.

Lovely Hotel. We were greeted by the back door and taken up to reception where we received a warm welcome. Cars cant get by the front due to busy market. Very friendly and super helpful staff. Great Location right in the centre Fantastic market with fresh produce. Would highly recommend. Good value for money. Thank you.
