5.5 stars If it wasn’t for Tien and his hostel my trip to Dalat would not be nearly as perfect. I came to Dalat for peace and tranquility and to get in touch with nature. Tiens hostel is just that. It isn’t like other hostels you might find that are all exactly alike just catering to your typical backpacker. Holla hostel is so intricate. The attention to detail from the succulent garden, to the decorations show how much thought he put into this place. Also as a tour guide Tien took us to so many different coffee shops, food stands, and natural wonders that you could never ever find without a local tour guide. If you, or a friend you know speak Vietnamese, hands down he is your best bet as a tour guide. My only regret is I didn’t stay in Dalat longer. Tien is also a trekking guide and his pictures look epic! I love trekking but at two days I simply ran out of time. Can’t wait to come back.
