The concept of this market is similar to Ben Thanh but to a lesser scale. The difference is that this market has fewer tourists, more price tags are displayed, much cheaper and less touristic. By 1300 the wet market is closed leaving the dry market and clothings section open. The food stalls have limited seats and smaller space compared to Ben Thanh. There is a park nearby this market. For 12, 000 Dong you can get a coconut.

Various products and high quality, some of reasonable price, some out of it. Rather gergous market, there has sweet soups you should try, they locate on the side which opposites to the jewelry store. After visiting marketplace, should try to Tan Dinh Church, at the night of Christmas, promenade friend, family into church, look, see and buy some gifts for ourselves.

I quickly found the stretch plastic film roll and the sticky rolls to prepare the packaging of the bikes for the return to airplanes. Price is correct.

It had a more local vibe than the famous Ben Thanh market. Sells mostly dry goods and food. Biggest turnoff was almost running over a ginormous rat (the kind that lives in sewers) inside the market. Located just across the Tanh Dinh church.

Excellent late night noodle soup. Hu tieu suong non.

Rather than ben tanh I prever going here. Cheap price.

One is carried through on the tourist tours. Luckily, is never intrusive, but neither are points worth seeing.

I go every night for some Pho. The lady opposite Kim Lan Jewellery I've found is the best. She's open from 17:00 till late. Probably close to midnight or when the food runs out! I live in Sai Gon so I've had a fair bit of Pho. The market is good for ripe tomatoes and fruit. There are different food outlets during the day. They sell a green drink during the day at some places. It's pulverized pennywort. Just enter pennywort in Google translate and show it to them. It tastes ok and is very good got you.

Market more frequented by the local population for fabrics, clothing. As a result, tourists are less stressed than in other markets. Quality fabrics and Tailors.

Go at night. The food street is full of delicious choices.

You can find everything here. I love going to Tan Dinh market for my spices and snacks. Besides, it's near the Pink church in Hai Ba Trung so its very accessible.

A nice old traditional market. Tan Dinh market is famous for the food and textile items. You can find high-quality cloth here for ao dai or suit.

Local vendors selling cheap clothing, fabrics, vegetables, meat and cooked food. Just be careful as level of hygene is low. You will for sure find some interesting local produce.

Go here. Most other markets are too touristy, and therefore overpriced. This feels more authentic and yet still accessable.

Worth the visit to check out the local wares. It's aimed at the tourist market. Good range of coffee available.
