Perfect location. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is very good but busy. Have tried numerous rooms now and you get what you pay for. The Antique side of hotel is the newest and has very comfortable spotless rooms. The Rooftop pool and bar is awesome! And food from the kitchen for snacks or dinner great if you want a taste of home.

My friends and I had the WORST experience while staying in Alagon Saigon Hotel & Spa. We RSVP a twin bed room for three nights in advance. However, the receptionist failed to meet our RSVP, instead, we ended up with a standard double bedroom (which meant we had no choice but to share ONE quilt. In the end, the concierge reluctantly gave us an extra quilt by our demand) The receptionist did EXACTLY NOTHING to make our stay more comfortable. According to what I understood, this hotel made it very clear that” Since there was no vacancy, there was nothing we can do, if you want to change your room badly, you should come and ask by yourselves tomorrow”. In addition, the hotel manager, Lucy Chang, with an arrogant manner, questioned if we brought any “forbidden fruits” such as Durians, mango teens or jack fruits into the hotel and immediately ransacked our plastic bag. (I admitted that I did signed the hotel policy. However, we had no idea what “mango teens” and “jack fruit”meant until Mrs. Chang’s accusation) Hospitality was without doubt NOT SEEN in Alagon Saigon Hotel & Spa. Our three-day-experience in Alagon Saigon made me feel curious about all the good comments found about this hotel. Is it because we looked “Asian” thus treated differently? (We found that the hotel staffs greeted other guestest (mostly Caucasians) with drinks and hospitality) ANYWAY, WE WONT COME BACK TO ALAGON SAIGON HOTEL, thanks to you, Manager Lucy Chang!

Great 3 star hotel near Saigon city centre. Value for money unbeatable. Amazing breakfast Buffet. Attention some rooms (the cheapest ones) do not have a window. The pool and bar on the roof of the building are perfect to rest after a day of strolling in town.

Fantastic location, every thing pretty much central to this place. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times and couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely roof top pool area with a bar and coverd shade if you just want to sit and relax and quite a few sunbeds if you want to chill out in the sun. The rooms and double bed were a good size and they had a well stocked bathroom with all the bits n pieces. Street Food Market is a 6/7 min walk from here and also Ben Thanh Market.

We had a great 5-night stay here. Our room came with daily breakfast vouchers and daily tea vouchers, plus two 60-minute massage vouchers. The daily breakfast was amazing but I wish they had iced vietnamese coffee. Pool area and bar area was great. The building is actually 2 hotels in one (maybe 3? ) so you can get lost if you take the wrong elevator. Overall great experience!

Ok. There are rooms without windows but in my case it was even better. Viet Nam celebrated the victory over Qatar.

We had a fantastic stay at Alagon Saigon. For the price we paid, I was very impressed by the comfortable beds, swimming/sunbathing facilities and vast choice in breakfast. Staff were attentive, polite and really couldn't do enough to help. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who was visiting.

Great hotel and a very good short but pleasant stay, a very nice and very clean room with bathtub, very nice staff and nickel service. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and the rooftop pool and it was magical a very nice and last night in ho chi Minh perfect. The bedding a real cloud of sweetness and the next morning despite a very early check out we were able to enjoy the breakfast which was excellent for us I highly recommend this hotel for a few days and the market is a few meters walk away ideal! CAM ON Alagon Saigon hotel we finished our stay in style.

The room was called a deluxe but it was pretty basic and very small single beds. However, the hotel is lovely, very nicely located and has a beautiful rooftop bar with swimming pool, sauna, gym and jacuzzi. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would return here. It would have been 5 stars if the room and beds were nicer.

Great place to stay in Saigon. Great breakfast that's included. Weird internal architecture and sometimes hard to find your way around from the room to one of the receptions. There are several exits for convenience, hair salon nearby. Rooftop pool areas are relatively small, but there are several. Lots of choice. Staff very calm, friendly and loyal.

Great hotel and very good value for money! Really comfortable bedding, spacious room with bathtub, rooftop bar, gym, pool and very nice Spa area and many a la carte service (massages etc)

The room was clean and well located. The staff were very friendly. Bar upstairs extra and restaurant Hello great. Only rub the mattresses for the massage have no privacy and lack of space. I recommend.

Great hotel with very nice rooms. A roof top terrace with a bar, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a Hamam, a sauna, a gym and all that bathed in greenery. Really hat for this nice hotel right in the city center. You should know that this hotel includes 3 hotels with 3 independent entrances but the rooms and the access to the roof is the same. You have to choose the hotel that offers the lowest price to enjoy the same services as the rooms that have higher prices.

Nice. I was able to visit the whole city from the hotel. I had a formula with a massage a day, and a tea with a snack in the afternoon that I enjoyed very much… the breakfast was very good. I keep a good memory.

Good hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Showers are awkward but manageable. Breakfast buffet is fantastic… great variety with tasty dishes and it's included for free. Spa is expensive. This hotel is center to most things in district 1. Roof top pool is small but great views.

This is the worst hotel I have ever lived in, the room is small to explode, the bathroom is small to explode, there is no window, the safe can not be used at all, it is better to add a little money to live opposite the New World Hotel, the main waiter also love to pretend. This hotel is really a damn …

The hotel is in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the main attractions are within walking distance (if not afraid of heat). The rooms are quiet, the air conditioning, lovely breakfasts, pool and sun loungers on the roof! Very helpful staff. Only bathrobes of the same size-for a small flip flop) ) )

Bathroom not very well clean, room closed without window: two different hotel in one, we get lost easily. Ideal for one night only. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciate his location.

The staff were really nice, very friendly and helpful, 10/10 for everyone. Although the room was very noisy, we were on the 10th floor and it was impossible to sleep from 7 AM because of the proximity to the bar and swimming pool.

This hotel belong to a local corporation. Now there are 3 Alagon hotels joined together with different entrances and receiptions but don't worry they are all linked internally. The hotel provide many free voucher for drink, spa, massage when you stay more nights. Service is acceptable. Many rooms are no windows so it is mainly for shoppers or travellers to sleep only. Shopping at nearby are very convenient. Taxi can be get very easily with help of bell boy. Breakfast may be provided but located in an open public. My last stay saw that they are renovating the new restaurant, may be this will be improved soon.

If u love a roof top pool & jaccuzi in hcmc… Yes this is the hotel to go to.

Staff were definitely lacking in customer service skills. Upon arrival there was some confusion over our booking which took some time to sort out. Upon arrival to our room cleaners were still in it cleaning and promptly told the bell boy "not again, it's not ready". The cleaners then called front desk in a fit of rage informing them again that "room was not ready" we stood awkwardly in the old worn down hall way as the cleaners hastily mopped and cleaned the room and left. I couldn't help but feel it was not completely fully and was half done for us to enter. The room itself for a "executive" room was definitely misleading from photos. 32 sq metres? More like 32 sq feet in size. The room was dated with pealing wall paper and carried a foul stench of old dirty sock. (Could be from the wet floors and bleach used) When we spoke to front desk the manager looked disinterested and pre occupied with using her phone. Definitely did not make us feel welcomed at all staying here, upon checking out there was no one to help carry out bags down the steep steps. The staff and manager working on the 2/9 public holiday seemed like they preferred to be anywhere else but working. It's a shame as the Alagon D'antique always had made me feel welcomed however this Alagon Saigon was far from welcoming and professional. The only thing that makes this 3 star hotel is because it shares the same facilities as the 4 star sister hotel next door D'antique.

Very average hotel. The free breakfast was a disappointment and the room was the smallest among several hotels we stayed at across a two week vacation in Vietnam. A large bag looking like it contained dirty linen was placed next to our door at the end of the hallway. The view outside the window was basically a backyard view of other residences so we kept the blinds closed the whole time. Soundproofing was practically absent, we could hear neighboring room activities, people talking loudly in the hallway and even the sound of showering in other rooms.

Good, simple, clean, 3 star hotel. The pool on the roof is shared between three hotels so it can be a bit full during certain times of the day. But the staff are excellent and the rooms are nice. The doorman who held an umbrella for us in the pouring rain on the 4th of July was heroic, sorry for getting your jacket wet!

Good hotel lovely rooms. Better than avarage breakfast. Location for tourist attractions good. If you get tired when out and about due to the high temps and humidity the roof top swimming pool spa and bar is a god send for relaxing. All staff professional and kind.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. You have to pay an extra charge to use the pool or jacuzzi. The rooms seem overpriced. The breakfast was good, but not a huge range of vegetarian options.

For the quality of the rooms, this place is overpriced. Beds are not comfortable and the walls are so thin. Also — the pictures online show a beautiful pool patio, where I was really looking forward to relaxing. But the pool is $10 extra a day. What?!? I gave it two stars because the bathroom was updated and the breakfast was super. But I'm leaving early because I couldn't get a good nights sleep. Plenty of other better value and higher quality hotels on the same block.
