This is our second time returning to P'apiu, on the occasion of the resort’s newly opened Sunrise Villa. Everything remains peaceful and pristine, like a hidden gem nestled in the majestic mountains of Ha Giang.
We still felt that satisfying fullness from the hearty breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus, and a sense of relaxation from the traditional foot massage after a Dao herbal bath.
The staff are extremely gentle, sincere, and friendly—true to the nature of the local people.
Note: Since the resort is located in the forest, there are a lot of mosquitoes, so we recommend bringing insect bite treatment.

We have just spent 3 nights at the P’apiu Resort in Ha Giang province. Our was amazing; so peaceful and quiet in the middle of nature.
Our villa, Sunset, was very spacious and tastefully made. We made use of the “hanging” jacuzzij in the middle of nature, did a lovely excursion to a close-by waterfall and had tea with a local family. However, mostly we enjoyed the premises, the nature and the peace.
Mr. Then, the resort manager, went out of his way to make us welcome and comfortable, organising excursions for us, catering to our needs and organising our meals in different wonderful locations in the resort, in the midst of nature and with amazing views. The butler assigned to us was very attentive and always catered to us with a smile.
P’apiu is one of those places that left a mark on me and that I will always dream of going back to its peace and quiet.

What an incredible resort with excellent staff and service. Truly a unique experience at Papiu — the views, the food, the stay, the foot massages! Mr. Thien was an amazing manager of the resort who made sure all of our wants and needs were met. If you’re looking for an upscale experience in Ha Giang you should definitely stay here.
