I stayed in a twin room with a private bathroom. It had AC. Avoid rooms along the street, because that's where taxi drivers hang out and call for fares loudly all day. There are also a few piroshki vendors on the street, so the smell of fried food comes into the room.
Staff was accommodating however. Free water refills, laundry for 20k, kitchen available. You need to leave your shoes at the entrance. Visa accepted for the usual 1.5% fee.
This neighborhood has a high number of S Asians, so there are a few such restaurants.

Hi. Excellent hospitality. The owner Mr. Dawlat was a very kind man and helped me with early check-in and to my surprise, he offered me a full room of 3 beds all for myself since he had other vacant rooms available at that time. Very neat and tidy rooms and bathrooms.
