What an amazing place. Stunning views. Stunning rooms. Excellent breakfast. Can't fault this place and would highly recommend it. We have stayed in many hotels and this was one of the very best.

With stunning views from our room across Looe beach, the room was clean, well decorated and the bed comfortable.

Hotel staff fantastic could not fault went out of their way to help.

I stayed at the hotel for three days with my wife, a child, and two of my brothers—and this wasn’t my first time there.

This is a lovely hotel with views of the harbour. Our wonderful breakfasts were cooked by Colin, the owner. The rooms were spotlessly clean and contained a fridge, too. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed for 2 nights on my SW Coastpath walk. The guesthouse is right on the coastpath route.

2 nights spent here in November whilst visiting family in Looe. Love the fact that from the room, you can see over to the sea and one morning we had a beautiful sunrise.

What a fantastic B&B one of the best we have ever stayed in. Room was comfrotable and very clean with air conditioning, spacious bathroom with fantastic shower.

We stayed here 15-21.06.2026, in Room 5, upper floor, overlooking the river.

Hotel is beautiful. We have just come back on a coach holiday — DJ Thomas — and we will definitely go again.
One problem they had in the dining room was not enough staff.

Had a spa day here with 5 friends. The hotel is beautiful art deco and the staff are all wonderful. The food was great. The facilities were good. We were all very happy with our beauty treatments.

Beautiful place to stay, very close to everything you need, beach, harbour, plenty of food outlets and public houses, Simon is the perfect host, homemade flapjacks, very good breakfast, very comfy

I was looking for a b&b that was well situated near the centre of Looe with parking.
Penwyn is a small b&b with just two bedrooms — the owner lives next door.

Have stayed in this hotel for the last 3 years lovely clean & comfortable rooms. Food was good.

Donna was lovely and made us very welcome. Free parking was a big bonus.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we stopped by for food and it was absolutely worth the wait! I had the fish and chips, and it was honestly really good, nicely cooked, fresh, and full of flavour.

Went in for a drink. Wasn't serving food on the hottest day which is acceptable. Cornish people are so lovely. Yeah sat with mum and had beer. Mum stayed here 20 years ago and wanted to come back.
