Peaceful and beautiful location, a perfect base to explore the Eastern parts of Cornwall. Very welcoming hosts, excellent breakfast. The room offers plenty of space and storage for luggage, great bathroom. There is really nothing to complain at all. Thanks to Sue and Ray for providing such a lovely place for a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

A wonderful four nights in the Cornish countryside in the delightful setting of Brookfields. Ray and Sue are supreme hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is hearty and enhanced by watching the egg producers, along with their cockerels, clucking away outside of the dining room window!
The room was well equipped and very comfortable, along with a great shower. Whilst not trying out the hot tub, the sauna was excellent.
Overall a first class stay and look forward to a repeat trip.

Amazing. Stayed in many nice B&Bs in the UK and this one tops the list. The owners were lovely, room and facilities is above and beyond. Breakfast was great, the overall setting and grounds are beautiful. A bonus were the 2 dogs Ruby and Reg, we loved them and they are very friendly amd adorable! :) Will almost certainly return and could not recommend highly enough. Found this treasure searching for a very last minute trip to Cornwall. Spoke directly with Sue on the phone who explained the Shepherd hut was available for the three days we wanted. We have never stayed in a shepherd’s hut before and were intrigued and rather looking forward to it.
Brookfields is situated about 3 miles from Wadebridge, Rock, Polzeath and Port Issac — perfect for exploring the local area. The house is gorgeous and our Shepherd’s hut was delightful. Situated in a quiet spot, the hut was immaculate and equipped with all modern comforts. We slept so well. Our hosts Ray and Sue were so lovely and accommodating and even helped us choose a walk — seven bays. Can’t forget their little Jack Russel dogs too, who greeted us every morning.
Breakfast was taken in the conservatory with beautiful views looking out over the countryside. Thank you Ray for yummy breakfasts and conversation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brookfield, loved chatting with the other guests and our hosts. This is an amazing B and B and we will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

This beautiful property provides everything you need (including great Wi-Fi, a rare find in Cornwall! ) Hosts were very hospitable and the dogs and farm animals were a lovely touch, set against the most amazing views. The cockerels are housed in soundproof digs overnight too, so no need to worry about early alarm calls! Good location with lovely cafe just a short walk away.

This was a fantastic stay in a quiet and calm location. We were greeted by the lovely owner and made to feel very welcome. The room was a good size and all was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was an excellent mix of continental and your choice of cooked which was all very well cooked. We enjoyed our walks in the garden and meeting the animals too. We would highly reccomend this as a place to stay and hope to be back in the future.

We got back yesterday from an amazing stay at Brookfields.
From the minute we arrived to to our goodbye we had such a wonderful time.
A lovely warm welcome from Ray, who took us up to our room.
Which was absolutely lovely with stunning views over the countryside and the house garden.
Our room was very contemporary in design but also very comfortable with a fridge which was very useful.
A great nights sleep was followed by an amazing breakfast. Plenty of choice, from fresh fruit, yoghurt, Danish pastries, cereals to a full English. Every taste is catered for.
All served in the beautiful garden room, where the cockerels keep you entertained.
The B&B is perfectly positioned for visiting beaches or a more inland holiday, plenty of places for walks.
Sue and Ray are perfect hosts, always there if you need them but not at all intrusive.
A special thank you for our cream tea it was absolutely yummy.
We will definitely be back, only one word of warning. It’s so beautiful there it may become addictive and you may never want to return home.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Fabulous house located in very quiet countryside with beautiful views. Big variety of food for breakfast to include Continental and Full English made from very good quality local products. The cleanliness of the room, bathroom and and house in general was spot on!
Definitely recommend for anyone travelling to Cornwall.

Well, my 13 yo daughter has already left her review, from a teenager's perspective, here goes my comments from my perspective.
First of all, the location is great for people driving into Cornwall, you would save another 90 minutes of driving compared to accommodation in places close to st Ives and Penzance.
Ray and Sue were very friendly and welcoming as my daughter has already highlighted, and I really enjoyed my conversations with Ray, after he cooked us the wonderful breakfast.
Maybe it is the pandemic, but I would definitely recommend that you plan where you would like to have your dinners in advance and make the booking.
Sue and Ray certainly look after the place to make sure their guests are comfortable and relaxed. It was very nice to enjoy our fish and chips outside in the garden. Our beds were all very comfortable, including the kids beds.
It is a good base to explore Cornwall, and you have a number of beaches to choose from within a 15 minute drive.
I can see why Brookfields has received so many positive reviews, we will definitely be going back if we were to visit Cornwall again.
