Optima Pochayiv

Yes, the hotel has a fairly spacious parking lot in the courtyard. Guests note the presence of CCTV video surveillance in the parking area, providing added security.

Reviews regarding the staff are mixed. Some guests describe the receptionist as welcoming, attentive, and efficient, noting a swift check-in and check-out process. However, others complain about staff indifference towards cleanliness and comfort, and mention an unusual incident involving an unauthorized person at the reception desk. Overall, while some guests were satisfied with the service, others found it unsatisfactory.

The hotel offers breakfast that some guests describe as hearty and excellent. Nevertheless, there are also negative reviews: some visitors consider the food selection limited, advise against paying for breakfast in advance, and state that the "buffet" format is not justified. There was also a reported case of spoiled cottage cheese crepes being served.

The hotel building features the Georgian restaurant "Sumari", which guests rate as excellent for Pochayiv. The restaurant is open until 10:00 PM, with orders accepted until 9:00 PM. However, caution is advised when selecting dishes, as one guest reported feeling unwell after eating an un-fresh cabbage salad.

By default, drinking water may not be provided in the rooms. An electric kettle can be requested upon booking via the website, and in some cases, it will already be placed in the room prior to check-in.

The soundproofing in the hotel is considered poor. Guests complain of terrible noise levels: conversations from neighboring rooms, bathroom plumbing sounds, and loud chanson music from adjacent rooms continuing until early morning can be heard.

The condition of the rooms receives conflicting reviews. Some guests find them clean and cozy, noting clean white bed linen, albeit with small wear-and-tear holes. Others describe the rooms as "battered", complaining of stained walls, swollen doorframes, worn pillowcases with the logo, and untidy curtains. There were also mentions of dirty towels left behind from previous guests.

The heating system functions inconsistently: while radiators are warm in some rooms, in a suite they were cold in the morning because, according to staff, the heating is shut off at 6:00 AM. Electric fan heaters were offered to guests for additional warmth. In some rooms, the air conditioning does not work properly, creating excessive heat.

Bathrobes are available at the hotel for a reasonable extra charge, and fresh, fluffy towels are provided. However, guests note the absence of toiletry kits and slippers in standard rooms; slippers are provided only upon request at the reception. Low water pressure in the shower and leaking plumbing fixtures have also been reported.

Guests note the availability of an access ramp; however, they describe it as very steep and inconvenient, making it difficult to roll heavy suitcases up.
