This is our hotel when we are in Lviv. Old world charm and eligance, white linen and best breakfast buffet (often with piano playing). Wild spacious rooms, hallwaya with grand formal stairs. Yes, I am sure there are more modern and luxurious bookings than The George but thus us my choice.

The hotel is nice. Located in the heart of it. Service at its best! There is not a advise in it) the hotel house is a historical landmark, so it does not have any air conditioning, but you will be given the right number of fans.

The hotel is in the centre of the city, which is very convenient. The old beautiful hotel, it is cozy and warm. The rooms are clean and incredibly soft blankets, which you will appreciate after a walk in Lviv. The room price includes a buffet breakfast, everything is very tasty.
I recommend this hotel for those who want to feel the atmosphere of ancient Lviv!

First time visited Lviv and just happy that our first visit began with the hotel George, the wonderful location of the hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Breakfasts are delicious and varied, start the morning in a beautiful setting and even accompanied by the pleasant music of the playing and piano men is just such a charge of positive emotions for the whole day. A small negative (well it's so very small) is the lack of air conditioning, but I understand that the building is historic and there is no way to install them, but the big opening windows solved our problem of hot evenings. I hope to return to rest in Lviv and our stop will be only in George!

This isn't a "5 star hotel". There's no fancy robots or a spa or anything BUT it is still a luxurious experience. The George is a historic hotel that has hosted a number of famous visitors — and you can be next. The beds are small but the rooms are spacious. Showers are good although getting the balance between hot and cold water will take some patience. Getting that out of the way — the price can't be beat. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help. The hotel is also in an amazing location — you can easily walk to all kinds of great attractions and restaurants. The free breakfast in the mornings is pretty solid as well. My overall experience was incredibly pleasant and when I return to Lviv I look forward to staying here.

The best hotel in Lviv! It's amazing for its atmosphere. The oldest hotel in Ukraine. It was the one of the most famous people of his time. Such as Honore de Balzac, Casanova, Chaliapin, Senkiewicz, etc.
Located in the center, so any attraction is literally a couple of minutes walk away. Responsive and friendly staff. Very tasty and varied breakfasts. Recommend.

Historic hotel in the heart of Lviv. Do not expect from it increased comfort-in some rooms the bathroom on the floor-carefully see the description of the room when you are in trouble. The hotel has a lovely location. Very spacious and clean rooms, decent plumbing, relatively new furniture. In this case, getting into the corridor, there is a fear (thank God, deceptive) that the rooms will be much less comfortable. There is an early check-in option, which is very convenient if you are travelling with small children. The front desk has umbrellas. The staff is always ready to help: Faced with different problems (to order a transfer to the concert and from the concert, for example) — all helped to solve, at what with optimal costs. There were issues with the loyalty card, but the hotel managers reacted and all decided that it was very pleasant. Stay-will not regret.

That was special stay in very special hotel. Nice, spacious rooms, bathroom on the corridor and nice and friendly staff. Great location in Lviv.

Hotel located in the city center, in an ideal location for walking to the main places of interest. Old-fashioned building that makes people think of other times tourism. Beautiful staircase. The rooms are different (I think based on the floor), the one where I stayed (priced at just under 70 euros) was very spacious and bright, with including table and chairs. Breakfast is international buffet, for those who want the Hotel is equipped with restaurant and bar.

Excellent polite staff, knowledgeable foreign languages. Good location. There is a lift. Unfortunately, showers and sun knots are common on the floor.

At first glance, everything is fine. But there is one big request. When you book a room with a toilet and a shower on the floor-ask the person-in the know it or not! Because it is not always possible to carefully in the description! And looking at your site and a photo in the head will not even come, that such things are still preserved in the 21st century! Such a number can not leave a positive impression! Rid!

Nice hotel. Great place! Friendly staff. To me as a lover of historic Places George Hotel loved it. It is pleasant to wake up in a beautiful place with high ceilings, windows to the floor, to walk on a marble ladder and to have breakfast under sounds of a piano.

It was pleasantly surprised by the cosiness, redness situation and some grandiosity of this hotel. Stands in the heart of the city. Very good breakfast. Get Superior Rooms: they have a private bathroom. The hotel, where time comes alive and unwind with old times.

Beautiful old hotel! The room was clean. From what I liked-high ceilings, all furniture wooden, chic windows. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was good. The room was clean, the waiters quickly cleaned the dirty dishes and changed the tablecloths. What struck is the live music in the restaurant (piano).
Well and separately worth noting the location and low cost.

Hotel is in the old building, wich is dated back to the time when Lviv was a part of Austrian Empire. Staff is friendly and professional. Reception desk speaks English. Hotel is well located, a few blocks from tourist area / city center. Building is very old with high ceilings and wide hallways. We had the "family room" with three single beds, two were pushed together to make a king bed. The room is fairly large with a balcony, a table, four chairs, and a wardrobe cabinet. The large bathroom has a tub with a hand shower with curtain, a toilet, and a sink. There was a small refrigerator. Heating was good for sleep since it was pretty chill in the room. Breakfast comes with the room. It's okay, decent selection, but you can find better in Lviv. Restaurant has an excellent service though. Price / value is Ok if you are into Imperial architecture.

Great service. The Room had a full set of things needed for travel, even slippers. There is a stable Wi-Fi. Interiors are quite old, you can make good photos for memory. Took a star for the fact that there was some strange joke with hot water: There was no hot water, 15 minutes drained without success, called the reception and a minute later came the maid-and hot water is already there. There are Still rooms on the 4th floor that need renovation.

Old fashion Hotel George is a heritage of the city! Located in the heart of Lviv. Exterior needs to be refurbished but great place to stay for a couple of days. A bit noisy but it worth it.

An old hotel with its unique history, architecture, interior and even smell. High ceilings, spacious rooms, old furniture and appliances, ancient million times painted doors and windows give the atmosphere of those times when Ivan Franko and other intellectuals of that time spent here creative gatherings (judging from the same history of the hotel). The whole hotel smells of history, and it is not a terrible smell, but on the contrary! It reminds me of the smell in the student library. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The most amazing thing is live music (piano) while you are having breakfast. Very nice hotel lobby, reminiscent of the palace. The only minus is the shared toilet and shower on the floor-would like to freshen it up!

Repeatedly here stop. The city center is just around the corner. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. There is no parking, but leaving the car is not a problem. Interior and furniture l100, but not ugly. The rooms have a kettle, tea, coffee, water.

Sent our tourists to this hotel and thank goodness for 1 night. They were passing, stayed on this option because it was in the center and the reviews are not bad. It's in the middle. The location is very good. The room was very clean. The room and the furniture knew the best times in the view. There's a TV in the room and a sink. You can't move the bed. Only because of his historical significance.

Good spot, cheap price, looks nice, clean toilet and shower and the breakfast was delicious. The receptionists were so nice, a real big compliment to them! Unfortunately there was no air-conditioning.

I was not a guest at the hotel, but I did photography for an event organised here. The conference amenities are great, the large dining hall is spacious and has perfect natural lighting due to partly transparent ceiling. Coffee breaks are organised in the so called "blue" and "red" rooms on the second floor. You can feel that the place is historic, no wonder it's one of the first hotels in Ukraine. However, some renovation would be appropriate. Manager Olesya and all of the hotel staff have been very polite and helpful.

The breakfast was very good. No air conditioning, deficault numbers, some black hairy in the bathroom and the sink when we got here. Terrible food, a windy omelet and weird cheese. And very noisy. And no one's going to get you the room, you'll have to. I'll never go there again if I'm in Ukraine.

We've stayed here several times in the past few years — in the tourist/economy class rooms with the shared bathrooms, the standard rooms with large beds and comfortable private restroom/shower, and the huge top-floor center luxury family room with the old-style private bath and restroom. In each case we were treated like royalty by the staff and enjoyed the historic decor, free breakfast, and unbeatable location in the heart of downtown Lviv. They always have a little gift for our child, each room has a big umbrella available for complimentary guest use, and any room with a balcony has a great view. It helps thst it's so close to Cafe Veronica, the opera house, and so many other nice Lviv attractions!

A very good hotel. Were there two nights. Breakfast is included in the price. I initially wanted the apartment to shoot to save. But my girlfriend has categorically refused. Had to make concessions. Went. Not withheld. All really liked it.

Friendly service, clean rooms, full breakfast, comfortable rooms, pleasant. Outside of the building is very nice, in the center of the city; very well placed. I recommend it, great quality hotel despite some flaws of late households in the rooms.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff are nice and the rooms are clean. I also liked the complementary breakfast, it was like a buffet with lots of tasty food. You really get to feel the true history of this hotel as it still has some of the old architecture.
