Five stars all the way for service, comfort, accessibility.

Awesome! And walk and see and eat. Prices, of course, are already quite European … could be adapted to our realities. And so the whole impression is pleasant.

Atmosphere is amazing and the staff’s very pleasant.

One of the best hotels in the city of Lviv. The hotel is made on the basis of a real fortress, which has 26 rooms, of which 2 suites. On the third floor there is a restaurant called Garmata. Well-groomed grounds throughout the hotel, the hotel has a wine cellar, sports hall, rooms with spa treatments. The parking lot in front of the hotel can accommodate about 50-70 cars. On the street cafes, for residents and not only. Expresso costs — 49 UAH.

Great hotel. It's expensive, but it is worth it. Located in a historical building of Lviv Citadel, and living there is like living in history. Very comfortable inside. There is park around the building. Nice breakfast and good service. This is a cool top class hotel.

Quiet, high class level hotel. Green and city view. Walking distance. Highly recommend, if you come to Lviv.

On our visit to Lviv in March 2018 we celebrated our friend`s anniversary in the restaurant of the Citadel Inn. Can`t tell anything about the inn itself, since we only passed through the lobby to the elevators to the restaurant. What I can tell for sure, the restaurant is exceptional, the level of service was at it`s best, the food was good, and overall feeling left after our visit was very pleasant. I don`t know much about other restaurants in Lviv, but this visit I will remember for good.

This hotel is just a delight! The terrace offers beautiful views of the city, beautiful grounds around the hotel, despite the fact that the hotel is located in the center of the city, it seems that you are in a castle in the woods.
But from the window of the room on the second floor you can only see the wall against. The air conditioner is not present, but we have moved a heater. But it is a trifle, as in general the hotel loved.

Worth 5 stars. Woke up with birds singing. Relatively far from city crowd but 15 min walk to main square. Building has a history. Definitey a different hote than any other in Lviv.

Death Tower. There were torture prisoners, one of the most eerie places of the Citadel, the territory of the former 3 fascist camps.
During the restoration of the tower and the construction of the hotel crashed a whole brigade of builders.
At best, a museum or a chapel for the remembrance of the dead is possible here!

The perfect place for a stay of "luxury" class is expensive beautiful and Tasty. The hotel meets its Stars. Service at the Level. This place is Gorgeous. For the first time of arrival to Lviv-one of the best.

We were on Christmas Eve at the restaurant "Garmata" in Citadel Inn, as it was one of the few restaurants that could offer a special menu of Ukrainian style on Christmas Eve. There have been 12 dishes, as it should be. Everything was very tasty. The service was very polite, we reacted quickly and appropriately to our wishes, we were completely satisfied. Only recommended.

You know it's part of the Stalag 328 concentration camp that killed 140 000 people? This tower was called the Death Tower. Want to rest on the bones? Think No.

Do you know that in this place died 140 000 peoples? It was part of nazi Stalag 328 concentration camp (death tower).
If you want live or rest in place impregnated with pain and suffering… I think you don't

The impressions of this place are great. Nice clean rooms, helpful and pleasant staff. There is parking for your car. Is located in the park area. Fresh air. And a very cool view of the city from the heights.
Of course I recommend.

Wonderful historic building & stay! The food is fantastic & the decor superb. The staff were friendly & helpful. Super quiet rooms, as you might expect in an old fortress. Great view from the top floor too. Very reasonable price if you're coming from out of Ukraine.

The best, in my opinion, but also the most expensive hotel of Lviv. Historic building, unusual layout and interesting rooms. Great Lobby Bar. If you are booking on Friday-Saturday, you are wondering whether you will be celebrating a wedding in the hotel. Otherwise the lobby bar and restaurant will remain inaccessible for you. The city center is within walking distance.

I stayed in Citadel in October 2014. It's a unique place, inside and outside, with an absolutely fantastic view from the restaurant on top. I appreciated how quiet the place was and it took only 10min to walk to the city center. Rooms are spacious, very clean, and beds are super comfortable. My Mom who usually doesn't sleep well in new places because of her back loved sleeping there, so did I! Everything in the hotel was well thought through and well done. The breakfast was great — try their cheese cakes! They are out of this world… We loved the live piano music in the evening at the restaurant. I had a plate of pirogies for dinner — fantastic! I also used their spa, I loved the service (had pedicure and massage), but the spa place itself can use a bit of improvement. The front desk was very helpful and spoke good English. They really try hard to please you. I will definitely come back should an opportunity arise. Try it out, you will enjoy your time there!

An incredibly beautiful hotel in Austro-Hungarian fortress style. Intriguing circular design, old maps and artistic historical events on the walls and floors, old cannons and cannonballs integrated tastefully into the decor with a very historical atmosphere. Highly recommended. Access to the heart of the city is now very easy.

Vacationing with his wife in Lviv in summer 2012. Made an offer in this restaurant. Exquisite, all at the highest level, not a bad location. Friendly staff, delicious European cuisine.

A former German concentration camp "Stalag 328", where people were tortured more than at Buchenwald was located in the building "Citadel Inn" from 1941 on 1944god. Strange to read comments about the service, location and about the kitchen.

I fully support that open a hotel on the site of the former camp is a blasphemy. And we want to live as humans, and do as the Inhumans. For example we were in Dresden and at the renovated church, the Germans kept specifically inscription Soviet soldier "proven min. No. AND WHAT'S GOING ON WITH US?
Good day, Dear Bella! I really hope that you are not a member of staff. With regard to the service, the hotel is not allowed in the presence of guests leaving maid giving the command certificate numbers on departure from the hotel! The poor quality of the service in the restaurant. And most of all surprised that you sleep soundly in the building which bathed in the blood of our grandfathers. Wonder what you have sound sleep and strong mentality. As a man whose great-grandfather died in a concentration camp failed to keep silent.
