Hotel Sofia

Yes, the hotel has its own parking area. According to guest reviews, there were no issues with parking vehicles.

The staff are described as very welcoming, kind, and courteous, with the receptionists and administrators being particularly highlighted. Guests praise the employees for their customer-centric approach and professionalism, noting that they are treated "like family." However, one instance of rudeness from the staff was reported during a sauna visit, when a guest was not provided with a promised sheet.

Dining is organized as a buffet. Many guests praise the cuisine, describing the food as tasty, homemade, and varied, with banosh and desserts being specifically highlighted. However, there is also significant negative feedback: some visitors complain about tiny portions, a lack of seasonal vegetables, and a limited selection of dishes, causing food to run out by the end of the buffet hour. It is also noted that meal times are strictly limited to one hour, and coffee may be provided for an additional fee.

The rooms are described as clean, spacious, and cozy, with white bed linen and towels. Some guests note that the interior and renovations are slightly outdated, but that the rooms remain pleasant to stay in. Rooms are equipped with a mini-fridge and a kettle. Issues with plumbing were also mentioned, specifically a clogged shower drain in one of the rooms.

The majority of guests are very satisfied with the housekeepers' work, calling them "fairies" for their thorough daily cleaning and tidiness. However, one review presents a starkly opposite viewpoint: a guest claims that during a week-long stay, the room was never cleaned, the request-for-cleaning sign was ignored, and the bed linen was not changed.

There are no elevators in the hotel. Guests must carry their luggage up the stairs to the 3rd or 4th floors, which may be inconvenient.

The hotel features a large indoor pool, a jacuzzi, and a children's pool. Many praise it for its cleanliness, warmth, and beautiful view. On the other hand, there are serious safety complaints: a lack of depth markers, broken tiles, and a malfunctioning step on the metal ladder. Some guests complain about a strong smell of chlorine, overcrowding, and non-functional storage lockers.

The hotel operates a spa and wellness center offering massages, a sauna, phyto-barrels, and other treatments. The massage therapist, Vlad, is noted as a high-level specialist with an individual approach. Nevertheless, a negative experience was recorded regarding a refusal to refund fees for services not provided due to a client's illness.

The hotel is well-suited for family vacations, providing a children's playground, a children's pool, and an appropriate menu. The staff demonstrates flexibility in serving families with small children. However, it should be noted that some rooms may not be available for guests staying with dogs.

The hotel has resident cats, which indicates a love for animals. However, guests note that not all rooms are available for check-in with their own dogs, which causes some inconvenience.
