Highy recommend! Very nice landscape, a lot of birds, amazing staff and peaceful atmosphere! A bit far from the main road but it is 100% worth the detour!

Amazing Lodge with great view on the lake chahafi. You can sit outside, listen to the frogs playing music while watching beautiful birds.

What a beautiful experience to stay with Gideon, Esther and Andrew, who are genuinely the nicest hosts you could wish for.

The view on the volcanoes is just amazing and the fact of being on a small island as a great charm. Rooms were fine and food was really good.

It is such a magical place, David and Brina are a lovely couple, food is just perfect!
And what to say about the view from the bed or balcony! there are 2 rooms, our had 3 beds!

I spent this past weekend at Kaara Gorilla Lodge, and honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy myself that much.

Highly recommend if you are Gorilla Trekking in Uganda. Recommend to take a sleeping bag for the colder nights. The staff are incredibly helpful.

The Lodge is a very beautiful, well maintained and clean place. As a solo female traveler, the employees went out of their way to make me feel safe and I am really thankful for that.

The views were incredible and the staff really kind and friendly. Great stay.

The rooms themselves are clean with your own private bathroom. You get hot water with solar panels so hot showers can be had in the afternoon.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mondi Lodge in Kisoro, and I'm still pinching myself! 😊 This lodge truly exceeded my expectations in every way.

We had a wonderful stay at Mondi Lodge. Clean, big, colorfull rooms and the garden was beautiful! Best memories to the warm and welcoming staff who were always happy to help.

Booking with Santaviva Tours was one of the best decisions we made for our African holiday. Our host Ivan in Uganda was incredibly helpful from before we started our trip and even beyond us leaving.

INQUIRE HERE FOR GORRILLA TREKKING! Do yourself a favour and ask for Ivan — we are an Australian couple who contacted Santaviva while we were home and enquired about Gorrilla trekking.

We spent here two nights. The room was clean. The meals were very good — we ate here the best soups in Uganda. Coctails were a little bit to pricey. You can relax near fireplace in the evening.

Great location for the Gorilla tracking. The full staff was very friendly and service oriented. Dinner, breakfast and packed lunch very good.

Beautiful lodge in Kisoro Town. The room was neat and comfortable. The food was the best we had in our trip. I recommend It!

We stayed for one night here just before our visit to Mgahinga National Park to see the gorillas. The rooms were quite spacious with good showers that provided warm water, and large comfortable beds.

Ikoro is a nice hotel in kisoro with a good view good service anyway every thing is very good try to book there and see.

I like the compound because of the greenery around and their rooms are spacious.

The Golden Monkey is an exceptional experience for the adventurous traveler. People familiar with travel in East Africa will know the difference between a hotel and a guest house.

Very welcoming place but a bit run down in the rooms and overall building. Food not ideal but served with a smile. We were on our way to the Nkuringo park so a quick stop on he way out.

Wow. I cannot say enough good things about my stay here. Magical honestly, and I would happily return, not least as the accommodation is rustic but great value.

Coffee Pot Guest House is a serene spot just outside Kisoro. The room was cozy, the garden beautiful, and the service excellent.
