I have been to many hotels but I found the staff at Fairway hotel to be very helpful and resourceful…

Highly recommended as this would be the only three star with services like that of 5 star. To start with, it has a fascinating history of how it has begun operations and grown to be a major landmark of the city, this makes it stand apart from its peers. The property is so open to nature and airy that you wouldn't have to be confined to your room and count days to be back home. The staff here is more like family than employees in an organization, available at your every beck and call with a smiling face. I have had a long stay here and have never had the feeling of being at a hotel, it's that comfortable. Adding another feather to it's hat is their Asian Fusion restaurant dishing out finger licking local and asian cuisine. Kudos to the entire team!

Excellent hotel in Kampala, Uganda owned and operated by an Indian origin fellow. Good Indian restaurants with variety of Indian foods like samosa, naan, thali /plate etc. Complimentary breakfast is of international standard. Very specious rooms and they are many. But you need to go staircase for 2 floors. You can take rooms on ground floor for olders.

I was disappointed in your level of professionalism. I booked to have my birthday there and the owner passed on which I totally understood but you freezing everything on that day when I had booked is what I didn't understand. And some of your staff were bragging how we will give be served. Substandard food because all chefs were off and busy mourning. You had to make me change venue at the last moment, so many damages caused.

The service is unbelievable, most helpful staff on earth and so friendly. The Asian fusion is really good. The rooms are also really upper class and air con is specifically good. Would have given it a 5 but they renovating so there was noise and disruption. Fact it’s well priced makes it a definite win.

Had a great time here actually the Ramadan offer which made me visit this place. The meal was so awesome and I enjoyed it. Big up to the management.

There cannot be another place in Kampala like Hotel Fairway. The rooms are very good. The Indian restaurant is the show stopper. Love to spend my time while eating, a very good place for Business meeting. You can have a peaceful discussion and enjoy the food. Nonetheless, Mr. Sharma has been always welcoming at reception and restaurant Manager is second to none.

Had my birthday dinner 2 weeks ago and I LOVED the food at Asian fusion. The staff was very attentive and their cocktails were just right! Had to go back for lunch and they still didn't disappoint. Their lunch combo that's just 24k is something I will be going back for. 5 stars, highly recommend!

I got a very bad experience for my visit this time. Torn towel, water leakage, missing A/C remote controlled and water dribbling from A/C. Breakfast was lack of variety, Indian oriented. Few amenities in the room. Neither tooth brush nor slipper was available in my upgraded room.

A good entertainment place for weekends, swimming pool is good you will find mostly Indians on Sunday. The restaurant is also famous for its fish. Its location is strategic parking easily available, near by area is very neat and clean, over all a good place for Sunday entertainment and swimming.

This hotel has been around for a while and may very well fit in the"historic" category. It features a mix of both the old and the new. I liked the decor of the Indian restaurant and the meals here were quite tasty. The accommodation is a bit of a mixed bag, my first room had been renovated so was quite spacious and the bathroom had a modern feel. However the acoustics were not very good and I was woken up at night by noise from neighbouring rooms. I moved to a different room that you was quieter but was one of the older rooms that felt dated. The hotel is undergoing some renovations so hopefully the rooms will be brought to modern standards. If you're traveling for business, the cost of accommodation was fair and Wi-Fi was generally reliable.

The rooms are pretty nice and very clean. Very good value for money. A bit of a quest to reach the room; kind of labyrinth :) The breakfast not quite at the standards of the room; can be improved with not much effort.

I tried to book a wedding venue with them, was given the wrong information when I went for a look about guest prices and upon booking, they made the price extremely expensive to £1, 000 per guest. Very unprofessional thing to do.

Friendly staff, good location. Renovations ongoing at the moment. Stayed in an already renovated part of the hotel. Quality clean and tasteful rooms.

Its a good hotel, located in Kololo. It has a variety of hotel abd spa services.

A modern dungeon. If u wait in the lobby at least 10 staff would ask u why you are waiting there… not to assist you but to clear you off from the lobby (they are instructed to do so). Waiters and waitresses are not on their own they are dead scared to even speak (probably fear of being fired). Otherwise food is good… parking is the lousiest I've ever experienced… they check you when u enter and also at exit. (the owner wants to be sure that u don't leave with either his staff or food) …

This is defiantly a four star service, am afraid to give it a fiva although there is nothing in this place not to warrant a five star rating. The environment, the services and the staff is just sublime. Access used to be a bit of a problem but thanks to the Kampala City Authority, the roads around this place has defiantly added a touch to this place.

I love the renovations the swimming pool is big and quite spacious, the staff is friendly too. I enjoyed my stay.

"Your home a way from home" Indeed it is and with this festive season an executive room at 120usds only with breakfast inclusive, pool, gym and a very fast internet not to forget the taxes are all inclusive. I love it, keep it up Fairway and keep up the service.

Enhance experience specially after renovations to Indian Fusion Restaurant. It's value for money in the new block. Don't stay in the old block. Old block should be priced at USD 30 per night.

Three Stars for whites and Africans, Where the Food Is Too Fine for Fast-Casual and the services are on point.

The place is very beautiful and amazing scenery, good foods and nice rooms plus good internet connection.

Its an amazing place of all the places I have been to, fairway hotel is absolutely amazing and now with the renovation of the Asian fusion restaurant down, I just loooooove the new look. And the pool and new parking lot they both look much better. And I can't forget the best customer care that the staff members give to everyone regardless of who you are and where you come from… Thanks to the management as well as the staff members.

This is very good place for staying in Kampala. Specially I like the Indian fusion restaurant.

Nice bar and restaurant pity no free Wi-Fi in hotel unless u are a guest a bit old fashioned in that respect.

I attended my Big brother's wedding reception at Fairway Hotel but everything was on point. The food was tasty, good customer care & services! The ambience is on point! Bravo, I can't wait to come again and again.

Didn't stayed there but organised meeting in this hotel for 50 pax… it went pretty well… There is also one indian restaurant there which offers good food. Overall good place to eat.

I frequently visit Asiana restaurant in Fairway Hotel & Spa for lunch. They have good listing of authentic Indian food, both veg and non-veg. Dont miss out this place if you are in Kampala.

Good site, but too much traffic congestion around. Not surprising because it's in the heart of Kampala.

Its a nice midrange hotel, my guests have stayed there and they have not complained.

Staff is good and fast response. But there is some problems in a room. Smelly in toilet and drain is not good. Quite old building. No outlet near desk.
