It’s in a nice quiet area in Kampala. Very tasty Indian cuisine and a comfortable room. The bathroom was however very tiny and we only had two pillows for two people… I love to have atleast two pillows to myself. Overall, amazing with great staff. They even gave us extra hour for checkout because we had an evening flight.

This is a good hotel. The rooms are well kept, the airconditioning works well and the view from the balcony was great! The hotel breakfast is decent, they have some good cooked options and you can always ask for something from the kitchen if not displayed, e. G. Pancakes or scrambled eggs. The service is fantastic and overall cleanliness and safety of the hotel is also good. The pool and poolside were also nice to relax.
I would suggest a couple of minor things.
1. Music played in the restaurant/lounge area was constantly (christian) country music. The guests of this hotel when I stayed were primarily foreign, and would prefer to hear Ugandan/African music instead (i discussed this with a couple of other guests). This will help with the ambiance and will cater to everyone there regardless of religion. We are in Uganda, we want to hear Ugandan music or music that is generally popular in Uganda, instead of country music.
2. Mosquito nets should be replaced as there was a hole in ours, luckily we had no mosquitoes in our room.
3. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent in terms of what was provided or replaced, e. G. Toilet paper, hand towel, plastic bags for the bins, coffee.
4. Get a better iron for clothes.
These are just minor things and did not ruin our experience there, but hope the owners can look into it as they are very easy to change.

I recently stayed at Dolphin Suites in Kampala, and my experience was quite mixed. From the start, things were not great, but they did improve as my stay went on. However, there were numerous negatives that need addressing. The cleanliness of the bedding was subpar, and the staff's response time was frustratingly slow. It felt like there was a class attitude based on skin color when complaining and how quickly responses was, which is completely honestly unacceptable.
The Wi-Fi service was inconsistent, often cutting off in both the room and lobby, and the bedding and towels were old and not properly cleaned. While the buffet menu left much to be desired, I appreciated that the chef and staff were willing to cater to individual requests when needed. However, other staff members need to be more attentive and quicker with requests or finding out what is needed. On a positive note, I want to highlight the outstanding service from two waitstaff, Agnes and Pamela, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, as well as Vincent, the bartender, who provided excellent service.
Overall, my experience at Dolphin Suites was average, but significant improvements are needed. The rooms felt outdated, and I hope management treats all guests equally, as we all pay our hard-earned money to stay there.

It is a really decent place to stay in Bugolobi. Rooms are comfortable plus there is a gym, sauna, steam room and large swimming pool. Dinners are decent, although breakfast is a strange affair — often pasta, rice, potatoes, spinach, etc. But for the price of around USD75 per night I would still recommend it.

The hotel is in one of the safe locations in Kampala. With a big campus, swimming pool, gym and restaurant. The housekeeping staff is very good at their work. Even the food is good. Breakfast is also satisfying. Overall staff is well behaved. Manager Mr. Deepak Mishra is a nice guy there.

This was an amazing place to be. A soothing atmosphere, wonderful customer service and such was spacious bedrooms. I loved the sauna most. And these place is really accessible.

I had a very wonderful moment, they have the best system. Good customer care. They have the most sweetest meals.

I’ve been going to the Dolphin Suites, since 2022. This year was my fifth time to stay at the hotel. The food and ambience is phenomenal. The staff have been so kind and looked after me very well. Dan the trainer is my Guru, he fixed my back problem and put me back on my feet. The rooms are spacious comfortable beds and crispy white beddings. My only complaint about Dolphin suites is the bartender Gertrude she’s rude obnoxious and has no sense of customer care and feels the world revolves around her. She’s a nasty piece of work. It actually baffles me that she’s even allowed to work as a bartender with that attitude.

The hotel's atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day. I enjoyed the beautiful views from the rooftop bar and the delicious breakfast buffet.
Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and exceptional hotel experience. I can't wait to stay there again.

Nice, cozy and perfect hideout hotel situated in one of the cleanest avenue Princess Anne Drive, Bugolobi.
A 24/7 room service with a dedicated staff. A variety of meals at breakfast. A must place to visit again.
Dolphin Suites was a partner hotel for the just ended 11th Regional Congress for the African and Indian Ocean Commission for French teachers held from 22 to 26 July 2024 at MUBS.

It was an amazing stay, the staff were courteous and professional, the breakfast was sweet, the internet was fast and the amenities were all top-notch. I would advise anyone to check in and enjoy their stay there too. In a brief, the hotel was everything I expected.
