Our stay (8 guests) at Hakyiri wasn’t very pleasant, very dusty rooms, very dusty beddings, fixtures were all falling off, very bad humidity. This place needs serious maintenance. We complained to the only available staff-Joab (who is the chef, cleaner, receptionist — basically all in one with more than 10 rooms to maintain), he tried to do all he can to make us feel comfortable but couldn’t solve all the issues in our 2 days stay. Maintainance and more staff are need for better services in Hakyiri.
Otherwise, the location is good, just that it’s next to a very dusty road. Internet was also amazing.
Excellent option in Kabale. Spacious and clean room. The best part was the manager, Joab, who treated us very well from the moment we arrived. He helped us with everything and prepared a spectacular breakfast. He's an attentive man who takes care of everything and will ensure you have a great experience. In the morning, he even arranged for us to rent motorbikes to take us to the bus terminal.
The value for money is excellent.

This hotel is a solid budget option, close to town, a bit dusty, but fair value for money.
My real concern is staffing. One employee, Joab,
Was handling reception, laundry, housekeeping, and kitchen duties (chef) almost single-handedly, with little rest (guys the guy barely rests! ). He was so hardworking and courteous throughout, thank you, Joab. But no one should be stretched this thin.
I urge management to review staffing levels (we are all human). It’s not sustainable, and the team deserves better support.
