BWIRANDA HOTEL

This is a wonderful hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities, including instant hot water and air conditioning that cooled the entire room in minutes. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in east Africa. The staff are friendly and hardworking and provide first class service to the guest. And it is very quiet and secure at night. Best of all the lounge has reasonably priced drinks and a world class kitchen!

First time visiting. I'm not sure I'll be back, although I'd love to. The rooms are clean. The service is excellent and the food is OK.

We had a very great experience, the service provided was really professional and the beds are so comfortable plus the meals are perfect.

I had a very nasty experience with Bwiranda Hotel. I was a participant in the Rwenzori marathon and had booked way in advance with Expedia and paid for 3 nights. I arrived in Entebbe from Addis Ababa at 2am on Friday and was driven all the way to Kasese an 8hr journey hoping to have a good day of rest once I arrived, little did I know that I was in for a rude shock.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I was nonchalantly informed by the hotel that they do not recognize whatsoever any bookings done on the Expedia platform, this despite proof of payment and them still appearing on the Expedia platform.
I searched for a hotel the whole day in Kasese and found none since understandably all were fully booked due to the influx of runners and tourists. I had to spend the night cramped up in my taxi drivers car something that greatly hampered my preparation for the following days marathon. Through sheer grit I was able to participate and complete the full marathon but I will not recommend this hotel to anyone at any given instance.
A hotel that does not follow up on genuine customer complaints is not worth recommending. To say that I am greatly disappointed would be the understatement of the year!

The place is very clean. I was just a bit disappointed by restaurant staff on both evenings we stayed there. The waiter took our drinks and dinner orders and disappeared for an hour — different waiters on different days. Poor service especially after the long drive from Kampala and all you want is to rest.

It’s chill next to bar, super comfy to sit and They have the best coffee too!

BWIRANDA hotel is definitely the place to rest while visiting Kasese and the various tourist destinations in Kasese. It is not only affordable but reliable. The services offered are great so is the staff. Their breakfast is truly amazing. It’s located in a secure neighborhood near Kasese town but conveniently afar from the noise of the bustling town. The hotel has a great view of the Rwenzori Mountain Ranges as well as the Kilembe mines. The rooms have Wi-Fi as well as air conditioning since Kasese is generally hot so you have no worries in regard to that.

We stopped here on the way to rwenzori mountains and were very happy. Great service, good beds, AC, good food (a bit slow service though)
It takes roughly 30min up to kilembe where the trekking usually starts. Parking is secure.
Good value for money as well.
Recommended if you're passing through — we would visit again.

The hotel was good and the food was so delicious. The staffs were so friendly. One staff called Joy took care of us more than expected. The best hotel in Kasese.

Good first impression at reception, with helpful and polite staff throughout my stay. Clearly the hotel has invested and is aiming high: branded items everywhere, a good quality coffee machine, great for cappuccinos. Based on my experience as a tourism consultant, this would be a good choice for Ugandans visiting for the weekend and for business people. (There is a meeting room that sits approximately 20).
My ensuite room had a small safe, hot water and aircon, fan and TV. Kasese can be hot so I appreciated the aircon (I didn't have a window in my room but door did open onto a courtyard). The bed was very comfortable but it is really not necessary to change sheets and towels every day. It should be on request of clients (to minimise resources / environmental impact).
The food was good and there's a decent range on the menu. Service in the bar / lounge area next to the parking is fine but room service took a long time, both times I requested it.
There is a small secure parking area.
Kasese Town bars can be noisy at night. This might be an issue for international visitors coming on safari. They'll probably prefer to stay outside town.
As someone who is an environmentalist and promotes sustainable tourism I was disappointed by the use of so much single use plastic: plastic straws in my drink (which I did not ask for), cling film over my omelette (not necessary), and lots of small disposable toiletries. I would prefer to see real plants everywhere too, not plastic ones.

Great hotel, really loved the service, very kind and available, and the rooms were comfortable and sufficient. Cannot forget the food too, enjoyed it and loved the variety! This hotel was also very secure I felt safe with all the security and slept in peace 🔥 ❤️

Well, I gotta admit Bwiranda is such an exquisite and serene place everyone should be, I had the time of my Life during my stay!, plus their workers are so impassioned, y'all need to check in.
