Perfect hideout, away from city noise.
Enjoyed the beautiful birds singing, Hippos, Cannoeing, Monkeys… etc Very hospitable Staff.

I would be out of my mind if I don't give this place a 5star review, everything about the place is just amazing.

It was an amazing place… I loved the canoeing experience at the lake…, the environment is so relaxing. The accommodation is very well designed for a perfect getaway and great hospitality of the staff.

The service is really 100% for sure… really caring and dedicated stuff… the evening canoeing… swimming in the crater lake was nice… the hike to the top of the world was really a site to see.

What a nice place Rweteera Safari park is! Good services, good rooms, good environment and good guide.

Everything about Rweteera is perfect. From the weather, accomodations, meals, to the hospitality. Uts just breathtakingly amazing.

We spent there 2nights it was fantastic stay moment that left Jenal Uganda safaris team with unforgettable Rweteera safari park kibale experience.

While the property is set in a gorgeous setting… the service leaves a lot to be desired…
They have a long list of activities for which they don't have the appropriate equipment!
— well you can do cycling but their cycles are broken!
— you could surely go birding if you're able to spot birds high up coz there's no binoculars nor bird books for id-ing!
— Then there are the boat rides, yay (provided you're a really good swimmer… the non-swimmers can forget about it as th…ere are no life jackets! ) And yes, in the cold damp windy weather at the lake, if you fancy ice cold showers, it's your place… coz there ain't no hot water! And yea, carry some warm blankets if you do go, unless the low temperatures & not enough to cozy up under is your thing! I'm saying all this after being there for 2 N/2 Ds and trying to sort things out… after which we had had enough & bit fed up of the shrugging-off-their shoulders staff & their non responsive attitude by just blaming one another! I'm sorry Rweteera, you just didn't deliver!

We spent 2 nights here last week. Stephen the porter, waiter, reception worker was truly the best customer service person I have ever met. The rooms are authentic and the location is spectacular. There is nothing like waking up to the sounds of hippos close by!

Avoid this place! There are so many other nice lodges nearby. The manager messed up our Chimp Permits and began hanging up on us when we tried to call him to sort it out. We also had no hot water or electricity, but again nobody helped us to solve these problems. With so many other options nearby, there is no reason to stay at a place with terrible management.

This lodge it's very good with good customer care and services as well.

It's a nice place to stay in. Lake view, Hippo viewing and so many more. Just book and enjoy the experience of the nature.

Very nice and quite place, cabins, tents or camping with your own tent. Simple tasty food in the restorant. Prices are o. K.

Very cool place on a lake featuring a lone hippo. Lovely breakfast and smart bar. Washing facilities, access to electricity and internet could be improved. Bonfires by night, and staff give you a useful lantern to find your tent.

Poor service, staff not prepared, dirty rooms, hot beer, broken chairs, expensive not worth the cost x benefit. Located on a nice place but you can see a lot of destructions. Lake full of nets, no space for the birds at all, deforestation up to the shore… Depressing over all!

We have visited for BBQ during evening N night. Its nice nice place. One person have to pay 10000Ush for BBQ. Also they can supply good service, beer, water etc… the star are a lot! Try to find constellation. Its amazing and awsome experience to me. Thx.

A nice off the beaten track stop over after chimp tracking to hang out with the locals and taste the regional delicacy 'deep fried mini tilapia'.

Small camp site on nyabikere crater Lake.

I stayed 2 weeks at this lovely campsite because I was doing some volunteer work in the area. I slept in one of the big tents; it had a comfortable double bed with mosquito net and enough space to put my bags and clothing aside. The area itself is so peacefull! The compound lies next to a lake where you can go for a canoe trip. Every day you can see the fishermen at work on the lake. So many birds that pass above your head when you relax in the garden. This is really a beauti…ful place to stay! Flushing toilets and hot showers are always clean. They also make your bed everyday. I enjoyed the food so much; thank you Tom for being such a good cook! In 2 weeks time I never ate the same dish.
Special thanks also to the guide Innocent. As a local he took me to several interesting and beautiful places in the neighbourhood you would never find as a tourist alone. His knowledgde about birds, primates and botanicals is amazing.
The entrance of Kibale Forest lies also within 2 kilometers from the camping. All of the staff are very friendly and I miss them!

Its the best place to be, best for holidays it refreshes your mind.
I just love it for its cool weather I actually enjoyed a lot with friends, we went trecking to the top of the world its an amazing experience, the morning aurora I mean, the morning view watching the sunrise wooooooow.
Not forgetting the best hospitality ever, big up to the stuff with lovely customer care,. I'm humbled by that.
Can't wait to come back.

I was looking for tranquility and lots of nature. And I got a healthy doze of both. The perfect location that allows you camp right next to Crater lake Nyabikere and enjoy a warm camp fire by it at night. The chef blew my mind with all the meals especially his mushroom soup! However the biggest asset Rweteera Safari Park offered, was its contribution to eco tourism with all the eco friendly measures taken, it allowed me enjoy my trip with a clear conscience. … Indeed Tooro kokasemera!

Great place for vacation. Quiet campsite with crater lakes, birds, hippo, chimpanzees, reptiles, luxury tents, campfire, BBQ, local dances, great food etc. I highly recommend campers to visit and they will leave with fond memories.

Arriving late in the dark at Rweteera Safari Park was actually an exciting adventure … The roads were muddy and slippery, and it had rained so much, so we couldn't reach the place by car… We were picked up by wooden canoes! It was dark and we were welcomed by the most exotic sound we never had heard before… The very load clicking sound of frogs, so many frogs and grasshoppers. It was like an amazing concert while we were slowly cruising through the water to reach the Rweteera Safari Park gate. We were amazed the nice staff were already waiting for us with the canoes to take us over. The camp fire… So nice… And Peter, who is an always smiling, easygoing and very friendly person that we really liked, was telling us the story about the place while we were sipping the local Banana Gin. We loved the place… I loved the sounds from the frogs at night… We loved the monkeys visiting us! I loved my lakeside tent… I loved the fresh air. And the staff were great and very nice! The crater lake walk with Peter, is also a great memory… Really nice surroundings! This was our first stop on our safari tour, deriving directly from Kampala. I must say it was a very nice feeling to start experience Uganda (and for most of us, Africa) here. If we come back we will not miss the chance to plant a tree. I can absolutely recommend this peaceful and lovely place with the concerts of frogs at night!
